Nikon D810 import in Lightroom 5.7 but not in Ligthroom 6.1

After much research, I have not found a way to import my D810 raw in Lightroom 6.1. Yet, on the same computer, I realized that I can import them without any problem in Lightroom 5.7...

I've noticed that 5.7 using the camera 8.7 gross and 6.1 uses a camera raw 9.1. Could be the source of the problem?

Should I install a camera raw 8.7 on my lightroom 6.1? Moreover, how could I do.

Anyone have a simple solution for me to import my D810 directly into lightroom 6.1?

PS. I'm running it on an iMac end of 2013, OS 10.11 El Capitan

Cheers!

You have not explained what happens when you try to import using Lightroom 6. So please explain. What do you see? What is going on? What is the exact error message from verbatim verbatim?

Good news.  The problem has been resolved.

Jim Hess has proposed the following:

"I don't have a total solution for you. But in the screenshot you provided, the image you are trying to import is already on the hard drive. What happens if you switch from the copy option to add? I was wondering if that could import one image. We must start somewhere, right?"

Just for info, before I had been using the function 'Copy' or the function "import and convert to DNG.  So I have exactly like Jim suggested and "Added" one image (a NAVE which had been converted to DNG).  By using the function 'Add' not only worked, but now, Lightroom is recognizing the file NAVE of Nikon D810 and import as a champion.  I don't HAVE NO reinstall Lightroom.  Just "Adde" that photo and that seemed to fix everything that was happening.

I don't know about you, but I suspect there was a problem of association with Lightroom who need to restore a path to the catalog somehow.

Thank you for all your help.  I sincerely appreciate it!

  • How can I open files camera Nikon d810 raw in Lightroom 4

I bought a new Nikon d810 and I can't get my 4 of Lightroom to open nef raw camera files. Can anyone help?

    Hello

    Greetings!
For Nikon 810 files, you must at least 5.6 version of Lightroom.

You can convert raw files to DNG and might be able to import these files into Lightroom.

    DNG converter downloads:

    MAC: http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?platform=Macintosh&product=106

Windows: Adobe - Adobe Camera Raw and DNG Converter: for Windows

  • Recently I bought a nikon D810 and CS6 camera... but I'm unable to see my images. all I get is a # and the NAVE... like 122.NEF.

    Hi Matthew,

You must convert your raw images to DNG with the DNG Converter.See negative converter Adobe Digital 9.x for instructions.

CS5 cannot be updated to camera raw 8.6, which is necessary for this device.

  • Import from Lightroom 6 detects only not all files

I try to import a folder of images in Lightroom and it seems to turn off without problems or error messages, but when I check the number of pictures is not. There are 398 (JPG, NEF and a MOV) files in the network folder, I'm importing. But Lightroom shows 367. It seems to be jumping random jpg. I deselected "don't import suspected duplicates." I tried to drag and drop files missing in the library, but it brings just to the top of the import and shows dialog box then 0 new. What is happening and what I can do about it?

Some of the missing files who refuses to recognize Lightroom exist and the file starting at the bottom:

    explorer.jpg

    What I see in Lightroom:

    lightroom count.jpg

In lightroo preferences check "treat JPEG files next files to raw as separate photos»

Thank you very much! That s it!

It took me a while to understand what you wanted to know, where and how to change the default setting. I do not change the preset intentionally before and I m quite sure 5.7 LR has not done. There is a slight suspicion that this was done by an OS X update. Perfectly awful!

    Sincerely grateful

  • medata import using SQLFILE. table created but not shown in dba_segments

    Hi all

I have a question, im do export the schema with only metadata.
When I import into another database, I run the SQLFILE that generate the discharge.
The newspaper show that tables is created and I can see the tables in dba_tables, but is not see the dba_segments.

    Can someone please advise?

I think you're on 11 GR 2 and using the delayed creation of segment function.

Learn more about CREATION of SEGMENT DELAYED.
This new feature allows you to delay the creation of this initial segment until you load data into the table

  • I installed lightroom 5 and I am using Nikon D810, (new camera), when I try to import photos from the card, he said the preview is not available.  What I am doing wrong?  Help, please!

I desperately need help!  I've been trying to use Lightroom 5, what's new with Nikon d810 also new camera and I'm not able to import photos from the card.

Someone help me please get it going, I'm so frustrated.

Not necessarily. the images on the card could still be corrupted and the jpeg preview is visible in other programs other than LR. Have you noticed the same behavior on multiple cards? If so, it suggests that LR is the culprit. I suggest you save and optimize your LR catalog, and then stop and restart your computer and see if the behavior persists.

  • I have problems with my Nikon D810 to Lightroom CC at the El Capitan of attachment, but also I can't download the images to Lightroom either.  Is there an end to this soon?

Looks like nothing is more compatible.  My Nikon D810 attaches to Lightroom CC.  My map of 1066 x Lexar mounted in a Lexar Professional 3.0 Professional Dual Slot card USB Reader says also the files are corrupt and will not download or even copy it into a folder on my desktop.  I have an iMac 27 "mid-2012 and a 2010 Macbook Pro to fit images on the site upgraded to SSD and a second 750 GB drive just.  Nothing works anymore, and it becomes quite difficult to call me a 'Professional' commercial photographer when I'm having all these intractable questions in front of my clients.  This has been a problem for too long!  Can you please help or solve this problem?

    Hello

Please upgrade to the latest version of Lightroom, and the question to tie with El Capitan will be resolved: keeping up-to-date for Lightroom

  • I just purchased lightroom 6 and does not

I just bought lightroom 6 starting but not when I get an error.

I tried to upgrade to 6.5, I've seen here as many times as the solution but I can't do it because of another error that says to me that my adobe application manager can be damaged and I need to download a new copy of it, but the link does not work please a few Solutions.

    Thanks for sharing newspapers.

The cause of the accident is graphics drivers dll file.

Suggest that you update your graphics card drivers and if that doesn't help, follow these steps:

    • Open Windows Explorer
    • Go into the path: C:\Windows\system32
    • Rename ig7icd64.dll to ig7ic64 - old.dll, and then, launch Lightroom [do not change any other file in the system32 folder name]
  • Import of Nikon D810 hangs up

I just bought a Nikon D810 and spin the last update for LR 6 (6.6, I think) on a Mac (El Capitan).  When you try to import. NEF files from an SD card or via a USB cable, Lightroom hang up as soon as the import screen.  Photos does not appear, but will be of gray boxes - simply no Imaging.

Any ideas?  I'm importing. Files NAVE of my D3200 without any issues whatsoever before getting the new camera.

    TIA.

    Chris

I have updated the firmware of the device from 1.10 to 1.11.  I did not take pictures after I did that, however, or reformat the SD card.

And now, I could just import the SD card normally.

I'll take pictures tomorrow and see if it still works or not.

  • Lightroom Creative Cloud 9.1 won't recognize my Nikon D810 files. Can any help with that?

    Hi-

I have been using Lightroom in the CC for 4 months with my Nikon D810.  Today, for some unknown reason Lightroom not recognize or I would import all my files from my camera.  I use a Macbook Pro OS 10.11.3 I tried to import the NEF Raw and Jpeg.  I reinstalled LR with no luck.  Anyone had this happen?  Thank you.

Also if you see the camera in the left column of windows import but no images show then check the Destination set for the good read + write permissions. Or change the destination location to a folder in your user name read + write permission.

If you have chosen the location of Destination does not have the appropriate permissions and then LR will not display images in the import window.

  • Importing RAW of Nikon D810 error

Have tried to import my Nikon D810 in LR5 RAW files, I get an error message that the files are not recognized.

My D800 RAW files are imported okay.

What is the reason for this and what can be done?

I am a professional wedding photographer and need to start addressing these images as soon as POSSIBLE

I thank everyone for their help!

NAVE D810 files are still not recognized by LR, so your best bet is to download converter DNG 8.6, downloadable for free from the Adobe site and convert your funds into DNG files you can import into Lightroom. A future version of LR will certainly solve this problem, but for now, it's the only option. Oh, BTW, does that with the naves full-size, new sRaw files cannot be used for the moment.

  • 4.4 Lightroom; Camera Raw 7.4 and Photoshop CS6 13.0.6. Not compatible with Nikon D810 raw files

I work with Lightroom 4.4; Camera Raw 7.4 and Photoshop CS6 13.0.6. Last month I bought a new camera Nikon D810, when trying to open files with this software I'm told that the files are not compatible with this version. I have updated their until I could, but still I can not work with my new file format. What is the solution?

You must update your version of Lightroom to 5.6 or newer to support the native file of the NAVE of the Nikon D810. Take a look at this page for more information on when a particular camera support has been added to Lightroom and Adobe Camera Raw: supported by Adobe Camera Raw devices
