NLS ORACLE 10 G 2 LANGUAGE OPTIONS

Dear gurus,

I intend to install oracle 10 g 2 on a linux machine, where I have 2 confusion and doubts to erase all

(1) the first new facility where and how or what are the options to select in order to choose the language nls as 'AR8MSWIN1256 '.

or

(2) if already oracle database installed, how to convert 1 characterset to another game for "AR8MSWIN1256."

I've read the documentation, but the exact database parameter has no clear idea. If someone can highlight and provide the basis for the directive with sql command line.

Kind regards

Please follow OBE http://st-curriculum.oracle.com/obe/db/10g/r2/2day_dba/install/install.htm:
-first install Oracle Datbase with "Advanced Installation".
-then create a database with 'With the help of the database Configuration Assistant (DBCA) to create a Database' ' (see step 15 to set the character set)

  • Regional and language options have no Chinese language.

I tried to use some Chinese software and the program on my PC Windows XP Professional. So, I went to regional and language options added Chinese language. However, there was nothing of the Chinese language. I already downloaded SP3 and some Chinese files, but I can only read Chinese on the Internet. Programs and software I have installed on my PC were able to read a part of the Chinese. where I can get more languages, especially Chinese, for me using several languages and Chinese software or program on my PC? I think that my windows xp professional only support some Western languages, which does not include the Chinese, Japanese and some Asian languages.

  • language options in outlook express 6

I have Outlook Express 6. I don't have a language option to check spelling, etc: French. I want English, Australian preference. Director of the MS Tech phone was told to go to support.microsoft.com/kb/826519. He looked confused for this little girl, & it seemed that I would have to pay for a correction. But surely my Outlook should already give me more language options without having to pay more. I would also check the grammar.  I bought it from a reputable dealer. Please can someone please help? Hello

Clear the check box, you must insert the CD of installation for the i386 file and then process. It could be solved.
  • Language options of Smartphones from blackBerry in the firmware

    Hello

So I have a Bold 9700 user on a support. He wants to be able to have the possibility to type in Japanese.

I checked the carrier's Web site, and there are the following options:

    MultiLanguage
All languages - languages of East Asia included
    East Asia

    I'm confused, lol.

Which should I download on the device? Am I right in thinking that:

    (i) "EastAsia" means the far East fonts?

(II) "multilingual" is only the Western languages?

(III) what I want is 'All languages - languages of East Asia included' to offer the possibility to choose between English and Japanese?

Or I'm getting this all wrong

    Sheen says:

Or I'm getting this all wrong

    You are very close!

    Sheen says:

    (i) "EastAsia" means the far East fonts?

And English, all versions of BlackBerry operating system include English.

(II) "multilingual" is only the Western languages?

That's right, for the most part, Yes.

(III) what I want is 'All languages - languages of East Asia included' to offer the possibility to choose between English and Japanese?

Who should serve you as well, as well as #1 above. I'd go with #1, since it will include less languages, a smaller file.

  • PBCS does support Norwegian as a language option?

    Hi all

Just UST I wondered if SEEP supports the Norwegian language - I know that the documentation says that the language will be picked up the language of the system, but I wonder if the translations of all the menus, etc. are in place for the Norwegian specifically?

    Thank you

    Hello Ed,

Planning and budgeting Cloud Service Workspace selected readings locale of your web browser information and selects the SEEP language based on the locale of the browser. If it cannot find a match to this place, then English. I tried Norwegian, and he has not translated SEEP as in German. Maybe I did something wrong because...

  • Language options

I don't know if this is a bug or I don't know new features of photoshop.

But when I got the tip of the text-> language-> default Options Options, the text is written from right to left - as it was the language of the Middle East. I use Polish language prefferences.

This problem does not occur in the earlier version. Any tips?

Yes. I check all of these parameters. General and paragraph text. When they are correct (default for European languages), they behave like Middle East as language! I need to customize these settings manually to the writing of 'left to right'.
