  I think that this special icon you want to say is stored on the local HARD disk. After formatting the entire HARD drive I think that it of deleted now and you can't do anything :(

  You should ask a friend who has the same model. In my view, that your friend can give you the icon again, but another solution isn't known to me.

• I lost my internet icon on my desktop and the program. How can I get that back.

  It is not in my programs.  The only way I can get on the internet is to click on a key, that I created on my keyboard before I lost it.  I even tried to download Internet Explorer 8 hoping one would be put in my startup programs but no. when I go to the control panel and tell him and right click to create a shortcut, it does, but the shortcut it gives me is to the properties. This happens at all locations.  I can get proberties and no where in the properties is it a place to say create shortcut. The other way I get on the internet is to upgrade my computer with microsoft.
