No details pane in Explorer - Windows 7 complete edition, all updates and service pack 1 applied.

I am running WIndows 7 Ultimate and my Explorer window displays more info at the bottom pane in the files list. Is there any component at all. It does not matter what library or folder that I discovered in the Details view, there is no pane. When I browse the same libraries through residential group however, sharing on my laptop computer that is also running windows 7 ultimate, the pane is there.

I just installed Service pack 1 and still no detail pane.  Can I change the details of the view to everything I want to display in the list of file in detail, but there is nothing else than the status at the bottom toolbar.  I tried turning this toolbar on and outside, but no difference.

I can't seem to find information on how to activate the details, on and outside pane, so any help would be greatly appreciated!

In Windows Explorer, it should just be a case of clicking organize , then layout , then click on the details pane. You say that this does not work for you?

I had a computer startup problem and had to re - install Windows XP. How can update Windows XP SP3?

Or is - it is no longer possible?

Repair install is rarely desirable. They are delicate, a number of things can go wrong, and to minimize the number of things that can go wrong, to do a little prep work.

If done correctly, a repair installation will leave all installed programs and data (documents, mp3s, photos, etc.) intact.
A clean install of course means that the drive is wiped and established a blank instance of an operating system.

    Hi Keith,

You won't be able to re - install using the discs and the number of series that you used initially, but we have a solution.

The activation for more server CS2 is no longer in service. For this reason, we did a version of these titles of software available that doesn't require activation. This is for users who already buy the software.  For more details and specific links for the software, please see the following link:

Windows XP has been partially updated and may not work perfectly

    Hello

    -You installed correctly updated recently?
-You are aware of any changes made on the computer before this problem?
Method 1: I suggest to maintain the computer in clean boot mode and check if the problem still persists.

    Step 1: Clean Boot Mode
A clean boot to check if startup item or services to third-party application is causing this issue.
You can read the following article to configure the computer to boot:
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135
Note: After the troubleshooting steps, refer to clean the start link to configure the computer to normal startup mode.

Step 2: Manually disable the Antivirus

Important note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you need to disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network, while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

    Step 3: Install Service Pack 2 (SP2)

Steps to take before you install Windows XP Service Pack 3

Include to determine which SP1 is installed

Method 2: Follow the steps mentioned below and check if the problem persists.

Step 1: Microsoft Windows Update Agent tool
How to get the latest version of the Windows Update Agent?

Step 2: Try to install the updates and check if the problem persists.

Method 3: Try to download and install the Windows XP SP2 and SP3 manually and check if the problem persists.

Once the software is installed, it will not be removed under normal circumstances.

I do not know if your computer is still infected and it is removed or the problem is that you can't 'see' photoshop' but it is always installed.

to verify this, check the installation directory and check its size on your hard drive.

    original title: error with ehshell.exe

I have Windows XP Media Center Edition Version 2002 with Service Pack 3 and I tried to run Media Center but I get an error message with ehshell.exe. Could you help me?

This problem exists since the 1st Media Center. SP2 and SP3 had a difficulty, but it is obvious that it doesn't always. The same problem still exists in Vista today with a lot of other carried over from XP. System restore would work, but you do not have any good restore points so reinstall an operating system seems to be your only option.

You probably don't want to do an OS reinstall you need for Media Center, but since it does not at all, you might want to play then remove the Media Center updates and or SP3 and reinstall them.

  • Windows 7 Professional 64-bit XP w/Service Pack 1:

    Left Windows XP>

I am running Windows 7 XP Professional, 64-Bit with Service Pack 1 and Microsoft Office 2010.  I don't get what or service packs for Office.

I should have an update to Service Pack 2 or higher for my Windows 7?  If so, how can I get the update?  I spent to Windows Update several times and received all the updates that are available, but none of them have included a service pack.

Thanks for any information and help that anyone can give me.  If I have everything I need, that's fine, I wondered.

There is no "Windows 7 XP Professional.  Certainly you mean "Windows 7 Professional."

There is no Service Pack 2 for Windows 7.

The latest service pack for Windows 7 is Service Pack 1.  There are several "" important updates for Windows 7 which have been issued since SP 1.

There is a Service Pack 2 (as well as SP 1) for Office 2010.  And, of course, there are a lot of important updates to Office 2010 since SP 2.

To determine which service pack has been applied to Office 2010, see https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2121559

Windows Update determines which updates, including service packs are available for your system.  If you have installed all the updates offered by WU, you should be aware.

Note that if it's been long that you used WU, you may need to go back several times, eventually reboot between the two visits to WU, before you have finished.
