No driver for my xbox wired contoller

I've looked everywhere but I can't find a driver for my mad catz wired Xbox 360 controller. It has powered my PC and my PC recognizes as: MadCatz GamePad

but I can't use it and the resolution of problems said: there is no driver for it...
don't know what to do
but that no longer works.

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!

I was doing some last hope, searching for a few minutes ago and found THIS: http://www.smashboards.com/threads/anyone-use-a-wire-xbox-controller.326536/
about two thirds down the page, you will find a post by someone named Sparlight that goes something like this:

"Hey bro. I saw this post this morning (well, technically yesterday morning: August 17), and I had the same problem.
I bought a nice computer and used my Madcatz controller (model #4716) on this subject. It worked on my laptop, but not on this one. Seems that Microsoft mysteriously got rid of the pilot for him on the site of their compatibility. Madcatz has an attitude of "idgaf" and only the drivers of the hosts they throw on the Microsoft website in the first place.

While going everywhere to try to find a driver for this (I worked at home all day, you mind), I had no success. I did, for example, find XBCD, that is a controller emulator. It does not really work. In any case, I installed which, and then I tried to uninstall it. There is no uninstall completely, but I managed to get him to stop focusing on my controller.

Without further ADO, I'll tell you how to fix your controller (as long as you experience the same problem as me - the lights on the controller flash for a while then goes off)

1. download Microsoft here's XBox 360 controller software.
2. After installing, plug your USB controller. If she attempts to automatically install the software, let him try, then close.
3. open the start menu and type "devmgmt.msc" into the search box. Press ENTER. You are now in the rather familiar device management page!
4. double-click on the controller MadCatz in the list. Go to the tab drivers on pilots in the menu.
5. click on update driver. Select that you want to do it manually. Now, instead of browsing for some drivers for the software, select the option below (something to do with the selection in a list).
6. in the list, select Microsoft Common Controller for Windows class. Use, and then click Next. You will get a warning box saying it could harm your system. Continue nevertheless.
7. your controller now must be turned on and should work fine.

It took me forever to figure this. I decided I sign here and you say what I found where you're still following this thread.
Good luck. Tell me if that solves your problem.<>

It worked perfectly for me and I can only hope that it does the same thing for you.

  • Driver for wireless Xbox 360 on Windows 7 (64) not appearing is not in the device after the installation manager.

is there nothing in the folder 'Microsoft Xbox 360' accessories in the start menu.

After installing 'Xbox 360 accessories software 1.2 64-bit for Windows 7", restart takes about 5 minutes which is unusually long.
I bought a (generic) wireless receiver and went to the Device Manager to update the driver and the only thing that appears in the category 'Microsoft Common Controller for Windows Class' is a 2006 (XBOX 360 Controller For Windows) driver that does not work. " There's no such thing as the newer drivers (already installed). What I'm missing here?
Any help with this would be much appreciated.

I got it to work. If pilots do not appear after installation, and you begin to notice the empty folders in your Start menu, it's because of permissions.  If you bought your pc used, ensure at their level of access to your account transfer system, you are the system administrator is not enough.

Please see things to try when the game Microsoft Xbox wireless receiver is not detected in Windows PC.

    1. check that the accessory is an accessory wireless Xbox 360 officially licensed.

    3. move the receiver away from other devices that may interfere with the communication between the receiver and the accessory wireless Xbox 360 Wireless.

  • Windows 7 64 bit laptop on wireless network can not find .inf wired for Canon Pixma iP4000 printer driver for windows 7 32 bit PC

First of all, I read the thread on the laptop win 7 and win XP PC with attached IP4000.  I have just isn't helping me with that.  I am computer literate network, but I have to be dumbing down, so be specific in a response, you can give it.  Please, do not assume I know something just because it can be public knowledge.  Thank you for understanding my situation!

New Win 7 64 bit laptop connected wireless to a network home through a Netgear WNDR3700 router.  Wired to the router, it is a PC with a USB attached printer Canon IP4000.  This printer has worked without problem with this PC for years.  Add the laptop.  Try to access the printer on the network (it is set to be shared on the PC) translates into an inability to find the driver for the printer.  On the Canon download site, I downloaded and installed on both machines the driver add-on 'aomwin110ea23us.exe '.  This does nothing to solve the problem.  Then, follow the suggestions in the thread referenced above, I downloaded installed 7 - zip and unzipped the file add-on from Canon.  Guess what? -There is no, zero, nada, stupid ".inf" file in there!  I understand that I need share on the PC to both x 32 and x 64, but without a valid .inf file to point to, I'm sunk.  And the same is true when you try to add the printer to the laptop - not to point to .inf file.  Is the only thing that I have not tried to install the printer directly to the laptop via the USB port, and it's because this is not a configuration that is usable for me.  The printer must be attached to the PC.  Is there anyone out there who can help me solve this dilemma?  Please do not give me an answer telling me to download the driver - usually you tell me precisely what driver and then guide me through the process.  Rest assured that I appreciate sincerely any help you can give me.  Thanks in advance!

Most likely the name of the driver you are using on XP to share the printer a is not not the name of the 64-bit driver.  The pilots names must match in order to add the printer as a connection to the 64-bit computer using the normal RPC protocol.  You can configure the printer on 64-bit Windows 7 as a local printer that will basically copy the data from the printer to the format to share on the XP machine using SMB protocols.

This is a Ko for incompatible drivers when connecting XP to NT4.  Replace your server / client configuration, but it's the same process.  Make sure that you are connected to the internet and select the Canon 64 bit driver available on Windows Update (use the Windows Update button in add printer) http://support.microsoft.com/kb/282842

  • Mac OS 10.5 Hello cannot find the printer driver for P1606dn connected via a wired network.

I tried to connect my HP Laserjet Pro P1606dn to my PowerMac G5 running Mac OS 10.5.8.  I have connected the priner to my LAN via the Ethernet cables and Switch 8 port NetGear.  I then properly installed printer driver from the CD provided on the Mac and went into system preferences / Print & Fax to add the printer to the list of the connected printers.  Click on the button «+»  The HP P106dn was listed in the table (kind = Hello).

I chose this entry in the table, and the dialog box immediately went into action: the pullodwn "to Print using" listed the message 'Please select a printer or driver model' greyed and a spinning wheel called 'Search for new drivers' appeared underneath.  The dialog box search but never find the printer driver (I waited for 20 minutes without success).  I installed some other HP printers in this way on this machine with no problems, for example, HP Color Laserjet 2605dn.  Why this method does not work with this printer?

I was able to connect to this printer with other (Intel) Macs in my house through this arrangement of LAN.  Is the printer driver for the Intel Macs only?

I disconnected the printer from the local network and connected directly to my Mac with a USB cable.  The same process, and I was able to connect to this printer.  Successfully print a document page.  Although it gives me a work-around for Mac G5, I need to share this printer with other Macs in my household.

I went on the HP download site and downloaded the latest driver for this printer, re-installed the printer driver on Mac and repeat the steps for the arrangement of LAN (above) complete the connection via the Print & Fax dialog box.  The result was the same: spinning wheel looking for a printer driver are not.

I don't know what else to do, or why this facility will not work.  I would much appreciate it if someone could give an explanation for this or any suggestions as to what can be done?

    Ed

I'm sorry to get back to you on this so late.  I was OOT Sunday all day.

Ok. So, here is what happened.  As I mentioned at the end of my last post, I was in the process of resetting my printing system, repair disk permissions, then restarting.   Reset the printing system wiped out all my printers in the "Printers" pane in the "Print & Fax" system preferences dialog window  I moved forward and fix permissions of the drive on my system disk.  A number of authorities have been repaired, but nothing that I could decipher impression related ro.  Finally, I restarted my Mac and went directly to the dialog box print & Telec.

As the printers pane was still empty, I'm gone before adding the simplest of my printers (LaserWriter 360 connected via AppleTalk) who has always been correctly added to the list printers in the past.  No chance!  WAITED a few minutes everything is was "Looking for new drivers.".  I tried the Color Laserjet 2605dn.  No luck.  Then the Laserjet P1606dn.  No luck.

Thus, this way of solution did not work, and now I was without any driver associated with one of my connected printers.  I decided that I had no choice to rebuild the operating system.  I started my DVD of Installation OS 10.5.4 to rebuild my system (without reformatting my HARD drive).  Once which was finished, I've immediately went to the Print & Fax dialog box and tried to add in each of my printers.  In a few seconds the LaserWriter was added successfully, then the HP Color Laserjet 2605dn, and FINALLY, the Laserjet P1606dn.  Thus, it appeared that my upgrade to OS 10.5.8 was at the origin of the problem.

I proceed with Sofware Update to restore the computer to OS 10.5.8 and again once, went to the dialog box Print & Fax to experiment with the addition of each of the printers again.  Stopping before the acceptance of each 'Add', I could find quickly and successfully the drivers for each of the connected printers.  So, it doesn't seem to be a problem with OS 10.5.8 find printer drivers.

After reflection, I concluded that the problem must have appeared during the upgrade to OS 10.4.11 OS 10.5.4, but it remained hidden until I tried to add these new printers to the list of printers.

I appreciate the reference to the last download Laserjet full feature software.   Since I was able to solve the problem without it, I mind not do the download.

I want to thank you for patiently stay with me during the last two weeks, your advice and comments.  Just having someone to "talk" about it, it was reassuring and useful that I went along to apply each suggestion to the problem.  I tried to solve this problem several times on my own before that, the search of the forums, and I hesitated to participate actively – to reach out.  I'm feeling very different about it now.  Once again, thanks a lot.

  • InPro Comm IPN2220 Wireless LAN Card - need driver for Vista OS

    Hello

I'm new to the Forum and I think that it is just the place to get answers to my questions?

OK, I use the laptop Toshiba Equium L10 and I just downloaded and installed the "public" version of Microsoft Windows VISTA beta 2.
The installation went very well and it took about 40 minutes and considering that it is only a 1.50 GHz Celeron (M), which was very good, but I'm having problems to make a software/driver for my '' integrated '' InPro Comm IPN2220 Wireless LAN Card, so for now, I can not connect to the internet on this subject. (On the bottom of the laptop, it has ' FOXCONN T60N871 802.11 b/g W/LAN Card "which I think is the real name for 'InPro Comm IPN2220 Wireless LAN Card'.)

I installed the software/driver LAN wireless from the utility CD, and although the software seems to be no problem, Windows does not detect the card and does not install the driver for it. I also tried Win Vista update, but nothing is found.

Does anyone know ho to get the software/driver to install properly so that Windows Vista can detect the card and install the driver and software?

If not, does anyone know of a driver updated for VISTA BETA2?

I would really like to keep Vista Beta2 on my L10 so if anyone has some tips that will get my built-in wireless card works, I would be very grateful. (BTW, I don't have a 'wired LAN').

    Concerning

    Hello

These days, a lot of users wrote vista and their experiences with the installation. As you know that officially there are no drivers available. I think that Toshiba will offer all the drivers at the point where vista is officially on the market.

You can post on this tread http://forums.computers.toshiba-europe.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=13771 maybe Brave will give you more information about the installation on its L10.

I can connect to my computer wireless and via cable in my Xbox 360.

  • Having problems installing stylized Ethernet driver for HP Pavilion dv6-6c35dx

I just bought this laptop and put my licensed copy of WIndows 7 Ultimate 64 - bit edition on it. I downloaded the RaLink driver installation program for the local wireless network and it says that it supports RT5390, RT3592, RT3090 wireless LAN chips and which are integrated into the motherboard of the laptop. When I try to run the Setup program, the program runs and everything closes and a message appears saying that the program cannot be installed correctly. Just click that the program installed correctly. But when I check the Device Manager, it still mentions the network controller with an exclamation by it as if the drivers never. The Realtek drivers for the installed perfectly well wired Ethernet connection.

I made sure when I did a search for drivers on the HP site, I chose Windows 7 64-bit like the BONE of his choice. And in fact, it was the only choice available, then it is certainly qque I selected, so I should have wnet through the right path to find the correct drivers.

I tried also to extract the files from the installer of RaLink 802.11 b/g/n WiFi adapter and righ clicking on network adapater will open the exclamation and do a update driver and pointing to the file where I extracted the files, and it is said that cnanot WIndows find the drivers for this device. I even tried the option to picj a list of drivers already on the computer and I found the Ralink option (so, it seems, the instraller put the RaLink drivers in the Windows driver repository), but each of them I try in the list, it says that Windows cannot determine whether the driver is compatible with your hardware and ask if you want to install anyway. I go ahead and select Yes for each of them and they install, but none of them work meaning that the devicxe is now the name of this driver, but witgh an exclamation that she.

I even tried older versions of the driver and still the same issue. I also looked on the Internet for other versions of RaLink drivers, but none of them work.

I'm also not sure what RaLink WLAN chipset is integrated with this laptop the laptop didn't come with a manual and it doe onst say on the box, or downloaded manual what kind of WLAN adapoater is integrated into the motherboard. Is the 3090 RT, the RT 3592, or the RT5390, or something else.

I tried everything and nothing seems to work. Any ideas. Or is there anywhere I can find it files right driver for the chipset WIFI built into this laptop for Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit.

  • Help driver for Acer Aspire M5-582PT, esp. touchscreen

I recently bought a laptop M5-582PT.  I've been frustrated by win 8, so I wiped and installed win 7.

I have almost everything works fine except the wired LAN port and the touch screen.  For the LAN, I used the Acer tool to know I have a broadcom brand, but I can't find the right driver for win 7.  The wireless is Atheron and works perfectly.

I do not know what brand or do is the component of the touch screen, so I don't know where to start looking for drivers.  I don't see any device that may be in the Device Manager.  There is also no 'pen and touch' option in the control panel.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you!

For the local network, I would try any 64 bit (?) Broadcom Win7 driver M5 series

    for example:

    M5 - 581 G - 15.0.0.6

    http://global-download.Acer.com/GDFiles/driver/LAN/Lan_Broadcom_15.0.0.6_W7x64_A.zip?acerid=63474630... M5 - 581 G & OS = ALL & LC = en & BC = ACER & SC = EMEA_27

Windows 7 has support built in for touch screens (although 'Windows 7 Starter' can only control the cursor so realistic we could say that it does not support touch screens).
