I have a Pavilion dv7-6b55dx notebook with Intel Centrino - N6150 wireless network card. I've recently updated to Win 7 to win 10 64-bit.  The first negative consequence is the deactivation of my wireless internet connection. The without wire/switch market stop on the keyboard is more worked as planned but simply tilted airplane mode on or off.  I followed HP troubleshooting for wireless connectivity problems associated with Windows 10 improvements, including the reinstall the NIC driver wireless, without any positive result.  It seems that 10 Windows does not recognize network N6150 map.

Anyone know if there is a fix for this problem (Microsoft? HP? Intel?) In the meantime, I came back to the Windows 7 operating system.  If there is no patch or another solution at this moment I may decide to go with a wireless USB adapter, but prefer not to do this, if possible.

I did not have a facility clean, but simply ran the standard upgrade ensuring once again I did it using a Wi - Fi and ethernet not.  It worked very well - fully operational wireless connectivity.  Thanks for pointing out the importance of having wireless enabled when you upgrade!

  • Satellite L645 - problem with Internet connectivity Wireless 'limited access '.

    Hi all

I recently bought a Satellite L645 laptop, however, there is a big problem. Whenever I connect to a wireless network, it will connect in a minute, he removes the connections and said "limited access", he could return by being connected but then back with limited access, so. However, when the laptop is connected to an ethernet internet cable works. I checked and the driver is updated, it is a defective material? software? is there something I can do? Help, please...

    Thank you.

    Hello

    Here the material is ok.
You must disable for the Wlan to save energy.
You can do it in 7 QL power management.
In addition, go to-WLan card-> properties > Device Manager
You will find a named tab to save energy. You should uncheck the option here that allows the computer turn off the Wlan device to save energy.

Otherwise make sure that the wireless network adapter is enabled correctly (WLAN switch on IT and FN + F8 to enable the wireless network adapter)?

I have a big problem with the internet wireless connection or the ethernet connection. In both cases it seems to be good connection (100%) for the network but the computor is unable to connect to the internet.

I tried all the obvious options to solve the problem restart; Unplug the unit; antivirus Internet transformed the ip address is the same as necessary. Is it possible I could have disabled the option to connect to the internet? Before the problem arose, I could connect to the internet in the public and private sectors with no problems.

    Any ideas appreciated!

If you are sure that the internet service through, try to work on your web browser.

Reset your ie and check from there. here

Also, if you have another computer, try to download another browser (firefox, google chrome) on a flash drive and run it on the computer laptop problem. See if you get the same result it. After return to account to you.

    Hello

Even if the router is working on her he might still have a problem with your. Remove the power
for the modem, the router, and your computer, and then turn on then again in that order. A hard
reset as that will help eliminate a cause, although not completely.

  • How can I remove the "crumbs" of an uninstalled spyware that brought me to lose internet connectivity?

This problem is not specific to Vista. Last year, I bought a new laptop of Dell Studio with XP SP3 installed. Everything worked very well; but was my former spyware removal software is more of his work. I could tell my internet experience slowed but the program did not come with any spyware/malware to remove. So, I went back to a program that I used about 5 years that seems to work for us: Stopzilla. I could tell immediately something was wrong, because while the program seems to work fine while I was online, when I tried to use it to search for existing infections stagnant 1% fine and would never go any further.

I tried an uninstall. The function of "uninstall a program" Windows would not be set up Stopzilla for uninstall. Of course, I was in trouble. Used another 3rd part of the program of cleaning of registry problems, etc., but it also uninstalled programs. Apparently, not good enough. I then did a "search" for all the files/folder (hidden or not) that had attached to it Stopzilla and remove results. Still nothing.

As I've studied how to remedy this problem, I found many references to lose internet connectivity wireless due to the remains of these types of programs related to system functions.

I did all the basics: checked the connection itself, checked my network settings, check the configuration of the router, ping the ip address, renew the ip address, checked the DNS server address, etc, etc.  Even gone beyond that and used the ip address 'reinstall' difficulty and even tried track things directly through the registry. Nothing. Still unable to connect to the internet using ANY browser and can only use it locally.

I am about to take the computer to a PC clinic but really won't be without the phone for days because of a major project deadline.  Is there anything I can do to get my wireless connection working again?

    Thank you - gstrumberger

STOPzilla says on its site that its compatible with win98 through win 7, which could lead me to suspect its validity, and since you were unable to uninstall it, well...
I suppose you have a restore point for a period prior to installation?
And if not how comfortable you are with the registry change?

  • I need two network adapters to enable internet connection sharing in windows 7?

I want to share my internet connection wireless local network to another PC. But I can't seem to find the sharing tab in the properties of the wireless network connection dialog box... Please someone help me out... Thank you

    NO YOU DON'T NEED THAT

    HERE'S HOW DO
    Here's how:

    1. Log on to the Windows (the one that is connected to the Internet) host computer as administrator
    2. Go to network connections in your control panel by clicking Start > Control Panel > network and Internet > network and sharing Center and then click on "Change adapter settings" in the menu on the left.
    3. Right click on your Internet connection you want to share (for example, Local area connection) and click on properties.
    4. Click the sharing tab.
    5. Check the option "allow the other network users to connect through this computer's Internet connection". (Note: for the sharing tab appears, you will need to have two types of network connections: one for your Internet connection and another that client computers can connect, for example, a wireless card.)
    6. Optional: If you want other network users to control or disable the Internet connection, select this option.
    7. You can also optionally allow the other network users to use services running on your network, such as servers of e-mail or web servers, according to the settings option.
    8. After ICS is enabled, you can Set Up an Ad Hoc wireless network or use the new Wi-Fi Direct technology so other devices can connect directly to your host computer to access the Internet.

    Tips:

    1. Clients that connect to the host computer must have their network cards placed to obtain their IP address automatically (look in the properties of the network, under TCP/IPv4 and TCP/IPv6 adapter, click "Obtain an IP address automatically")
    2. If you create a VPN connection between your host computer and a corporate network, all the computers on your local network would be able to access the corporate network, if you use ICS.
    3. If you share your Internet connection on an ad hoc network, ICS will be disabled if you disconnect from the ad hoc network, creating a new ad-hoc network or close the host computer.

    What you'll need

    • a Windows 7 computer with an Internet connection and another network card
    • client computers that are active and capable Internet connection TCP - IP
    • network card for each computer
    • modem for the entire network
  • Satellite L300 - unable to get a wireless Internet connection

    EY you have some questions,

Funny, is that I have my laptop 4 on lets say half a year. I had problems with my wireless connection, I tried 2 fix it, but really never been stable.

But now I had a problem I've ever had before, can't get no Internet connection what so ever with my wireless connection, only time when I get a connection is
When I put in the cable.

Checked a lot of posts but nothing really worked, tried the FN + F8 verified and updated http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/wlan/.
Tried to update my Realtek RTL8187B wireless 802. 11b / g 54Mbps USB 2.0 network adapter, but he can't find anything on the net.

Let me know what you guys think I should do.

    was soon Dupp

    Hello

Well, you said that the Internet connection is working that with the cable so you have checked the settings wireless LAN on the router? WLAN is enabled on the router?
In addition, you should try to update the firmware on your router.

Also, make sure that you use the same WLAN settings than on your router. I mean the channel and speed (e.g. 802.11 g).

You should also try to disable encryption on the router. Can you connect to the router then?

Finally and most importantly, you use factory settings or you have installed another OS?

  • Lose the wireless internet connection when it is not active

    Hello
I have an annoying problem. IM losing my connection wireless internet access after a few minutes is not active... Well not according to the 'doctor' program - it shows no signs of a problem.

Looking at the 'LAN' icon, I see he's trying to connect when I ask, for example, an update on the current site, but simply not turn on the blue bar.

The only cure to get online is to update the connection.

    What I'm doing wrong here?

    Thanks in advance... Jens

    Hello Jens

Please check the option sign-out after x... on your router. The sign-out feature is used to disconnect the router from your ISP automatically when there is no activity for a certain period of time. For example, place a check mark next to this option and enter 5 in the minute field will cause the router to disconnect from the Internet after 5 minutes of no activity from the Internet. This option should be used if you pay for your Internet service by the minute.

    Good bye

  • I have an internet connection 100M but getting only 30 M wireless

I have the internet connection of 100 M but getting only 30 M wireless.  How to increase the speed?

    Turning off time Capsule

    Turning your Mac off

Locate your Mac... about 9-10 feet or 3 metres from the time Capsule to clear line of sight between the Mac and the Time Capsule

Turn on the time Capsule and let it run for a minute

Turn on the Mac and let it run for a minute

Check the speed once again using a site like www.speedtest.net and report on your results.  (Do NOT use an iPhone or iPad to check wireless speeds.)

  • Behind a firewall for Internet connections and wireless and inaccessible

My netbook (XP) was attacked by viruses and therefore the firewall has blocked the internet and wireless connections. I installed the new Norton protection and this shows the machine also Ok. Here's the question - how can I activate the connections again? I realize that he is probabl; is really easy, but I just can not understand. Your help is appreciated. Thank you, Steve.

You can try to disable the Windows Firewall:

    http://www.Webcam123.com/en/FAQ/xp_firewall.html

If you have installed the new Norton protection, I don't think that you need more Windows Firewall.
