  It's probably something simple, I forgot, but have not been able to understand...

  Learning of vSphere 5.5 via Virtualization VM Workstation 9. Have many functional things already, to the point where I now both hosts ESXi, datastore iSCSI via standard vSwitches etc. No cluster, but everything works as expected.

  Currently distributed vSwitches research. I am trying to create one, but facing the question that I see not available to add to the hosts/physical adapters dvSwitch... Nothing appears in the list, nor does anything appear under "View Incompatible Hosts", so I can only continue when I choose "add hosts later." It is through vCenter Client and/or vCenter Web Client connected to the server vCenter.

  The two hosts of ESXi have 5 network cards. They have all been used in vSwitches for VMS, the iSCSI management..., so I decided to add an additional NETWORK card for each. I rebooted, ESXi, each of them guests show their new unused NIC under Configuration > network cards... This don't change nothing, always do not appear when you add hosts to the dvSwitch. I also tried to put in a standard vSwitch first on each ESXi host, with no difference. So I thought that maybe you can't see adapters hosts/physics to add to a dvSwitch after that that they have been added to a cluster, so I quickly created a cluster, added two ESXi hosts, no difference. I changed the version of the dvSwitch to 4, 5.5... I tried different settings to maximum number of physical cards by the host from 1 to 8... Nothing helps.

  I hope that I have reason to believe that you can add network individual cards of the hosts who also already have some network cards as used in standard vSwitches uplink adapters?

  Haha... It is even stupider than I thought.

  In order to tackle another question I got one a few days ago, I created a data center extra, with a very similar name. I moved all hosts of this new centre of data at any given time. But when I tried to create the distributed vSwitch, I accidentlly rightclicked the OLD Datacenter (empty). No host there to select a list empty... so of COURSE every time.

  OK, what makes simple (or I think). The logic of routing by device is the responsibility of the IVI driver that the Executive switch uses to log in/out of the roads. NISE makes no assumption on the topology of your device - it reads the channels and possible applications of connections using the IVI instrument driver. So if you implement these restrictions in the instrument driver (as you well pointed in screenshot of your original message of the matrix of connection), then switch will only be able to establish these links.

  My comments on the use of exclusions were to switch create these restrictions when the driver underlying instrument incorrectly neglected to do.

  I am importing existing (on disk) Camera RAW (.) CR2) photos in Lightroom.

  I read that it is a good idea to convert Camera RAW files to DNG, so I chose the option copy Photos as Digital Negative (DNG) and add to the catalog.  I also chose to backup the files when you import on an external drive.  DNG files that are created are copied into the new central repository on my hard drive where I keep all my photos that are managed by Lightroom.  The original. CR2 files are left where they were originally.

  I have two questions:

  1. is there a justification to keep the original. Cr2 files in the old file once I converted to DNG in the new central repository?

  2. When does the backup import Lightroom backup of the original. CR2, DNG format files on my external hard drive. Does make sense?  If the disk containing my. How can DNG photos breaks down, I use the container backup. CR2 files if Lightroom is expected to make them. DNG ones?

  Of course, it is a matter of opinion, but once you've decided to switch to DNG, and you converted your CR2 files, I would empty the original CR2 on DVD files, I hope never to be looked at again.  Then include your DNG in a normal backup routine that includes an external hard drive on the spot and online, the off-site source as well. The backup in place when importing is not intended to save the newly created, just DNG the imported the files themselves.  In rare cases, the conversion of the DNG format has a little problem and until you have a chance to look at each image, keep the original CR2s somewhere, but not necessarily easily accessible, is logical.   I use OS X Capitan version 10.11.13 and I'm trying to find an easy way to switch between multiple windows in the same application by using CTRL + alt or different keys.

  Here is what I feel...

  Let's say I have Outlook, Google Chrome, Safari, iTunes and apps 'about this Mac' open.

  I open the new message window in Outlook and another Chrome window. I have therefore 2 separate windows in Outlook and Chrome.

  With that, I'm unable to move the composition and the window main outlook which is so annoying. Let's say I want to read the emails by the prospect main window and transfer of the content of the compose window! The command + tab doesn't take me to the main window of Microsoft outlook! Even if there were the last visited / applications window. This constraint is not intuitive, unless it can be configured in the settings?

  Strangely, I can't switch to the "about this Mac" window.

  The work around is to use the function (F3) mission button and click on the window, that I want to use or click the "Outlook" application on the dock icon and choose the window in the list.

  Does anyone know how switch between different windows in the same application by using a key combination or one another method other than listed above?

  In general, an Application that can open multiple windows provides a "Windows menu" you can choose the window you want.
