No longer, play games for 2 years.

Since I switched to Vista 64 Ultimate Win - XP, I was not able to play games on my PC. Initially he hung up and stuttering on noise; requiring a hard reboot. I just updated my PC to the following specifications. Custom-made 64-bit PC. with the Asus P5N - D MB. 3.3 quad core CPU, 1333 MHZ, 8 GB of memory at 1333 mhz front side bus. and a monitor for LG M2762D-pm, the 1080pi - 1 TB WD Black Sata HD 27 ". Running Windows 7 Ultimate 64.

I can compose music with Sonar 8 and make videos with Pinnacle 14, but now whenever I try to play the Sims3, The Witcher or Fallout 3; instead of the sound glitch; my screen turns off, but the game continues to operate. The monitor will not return without a hard reboot.

I tried many solotions, such as upgrade my equipment and tweeking screensavers turned off and never turn off monitor but no help: I hope some of you can tell me something that will help you. I want to play my games, but don't know what else to try.

It all starts with the drivers. Start with the motherboard chipset drivers that are compatible with your operating system. Download current drivers for your audio and video cards/chipsets (you don't only mention those who are) plus all other devices that you connect to the computer.

Some old games that XP can you run is not compatible with Vista or Windows7.
