• DeskJet 940c: new 78xl cartridge will not print on Deskjet 940c

  bought 78xl tricolor cartridge.  Have only used the 78 before regular.  New cartridge will not print.  Replaced by the old cartridge - printed perfectly.  When I opened the printer, the cartridges for the little happy face moving, I have not a clue as to what is happening.  I would simply return this cartridge?  The 78xl is compatible with the 940 c?  15 black continues to print well.

  Yes I recommend you return the faulty new cartridge and replace it! If you buy the new cartridge and it fails well then let me know and we can look at the printer and excludes a faulty cartridge error.

• USED ALL THE NEW INK COLOR COMES OUT MOSTLY RED

  Printer: HP Officejet Pro 8500 has o/s Win 7-32 bit

  With the help of new cartridges but the color comes out with too much RED

  The 8500 has uses a printing mechanism where the ink cartridges are installed in the front left side of the printer and the print heads are internal.  The ink is channeled from the print cartridges for the in-house print heads.  With this printer, a question as it is usually an indication of a spurious print head.

  I would recommend printing a report of quality Print the Configuration menu > tools on the control panel of the printer.  This will help to give a better idea, if the problem is hardware (printhead) associated with the printer, or a problem of software with the driver on the PC.

  There is also a document to help solve print quality problems in the Officejet 8500 A910 a.  The document can be accessed here.

  I just bought the new Pantone formula guides and there is that a wide range of colors not specced in InDesign. For example, 2441... I searched in vain, and would appreciate some help. Thanks heaps. I guess Adobe have not simply update their libraries? I didn't think the new new samples, which were however...

  I have a problem: recent 336 pantone colors are not included in latest CS6 InDesign pantone color libraries.

  Anyone know how to get these new colors into InDesign?

  I read with interest the 'thread' here about latest 336 PANTONE colors and thought I'd take the opportunity to set the record straight.

  PANTONE 336 new colors were introduced in April 2012, subsequent to launch PANTONE PLUS SERIES products in May 2010.

  Adobe CS6 is the first version of the suite Adobe to provide native support for PANTONE libraries MORE SERIES, this includes no 336 April 2012 latest PANTONE colors.  These colors are supported in PANTONE Color Manager software.

  PANTONE Color Manager has been designed in 2010 as a vehicle through which visitors to Pantone could keep their digital PANTONE libraries completely up-to-date.  The software is distributed for free for free with the purchase and registration of up-to-date PANTONE color guides and books.  Each PANTONE publication has a unique serial number which, once registered, it becomes the activation key for non-reusable activation of PANTONE Color Manager.  Thus, Pantone does not charge extra for a customer for libraries, in addition to the cost of PANTONE publications themselves. Customers who choose not to buy updated books, or who may need additional licenses in addition to the amount of books they own, can purchase PANTONE Color Manager for $49.00 per additional user license

  The current version of PANTONE Color Manager, version 2.1, contains support for PANTONE colors more recent 336 separate libraries and allows users to export these to Adobe CS6 and earlier versions.  Buying PANTONE Color Manager is installed, but are missing the colors more recent 336, can auto-updated to the software, or access their myPANTONE account and download the latest installer without charge.  The last installation running on the current installation program updates the software to the latest version.

• Feature request: new tab color adjustment

• Do new bkd color behind the existing shadow

  I have several photos as the joint where I want to change the background to a gray clear so that there is a contrast between the envelope and the background. I would also maintain the shade and do not have to recreate it. Is there a good way to do it? So far if I have selected some of the shadow (in addition to the envelope) on a photo like that and then changed the background, it seems not homogeneous. Any suggestions? Thank you!

  

  If you have not flattened the psd file just change the color of the background. What if all you have is a flat JPEG. You have to recreate the PSD. Use the pen tool or a polygon to select the envelope only do not include the shadow. Followed by copying to a paste. This will create a layer 1 envelope. Add a layer style to this layer which reproduces the shade below and he rushes.  Select the background layer and fill it with the color gray desired. Save a JPEG and psd. I added a grey layer between the bottom layer and layer 1 to preserve your original image. You will need to play with the layer style settings.

• Installed new toner, does not print color

  I have a Photosmart 6525 all-in-one printer and the black toner was low, so I bought new genuine HP toner - 564XL. I installed the toner and received a message on my computer thank me for the installation of an original cartridge. However, when I go to print anything, the black is not printing. The toner level shows that the black is full. Maybe I should have bought a non-genuine toner cartridge if authentic one does not!

  FYI: I received help on this problem over the phone. In case anyone else has this problem, what measures are being taken to solve the problem.

  The color cartridges are low on ink, so I had to replace both (because apparently black HP isn't really just black... it's all the colors too. Great way to make us buy more HP ink!). After installing new cartridges color, I cleaned the cartridge heads and realigned. After that, everything worked.

• How can I create a new gradient based on the current fill color that I am applying it?

  I often need to add gradients to shapes that already exist and already have a fill color. I want to add a gradient that would be a mixture of the color that is already there and the black.  Gradients of new totally ignore what existed before. Is it possible to include the fill color that is already there in the slope?

  In fact, you can skip the step of swatch. You can drag the fill color directly from the toolbar at the appropriate end of the fitting band gradient in the gradient/panel palette; Then, apply the gradient. Be careful, though - you can end up creating a new unwanted color along the gradient stop.

  I read all the posts in this forum about the web services enabling ePrint to the question and tried all suggestions with no luck.

  Here's the situation:

  1. The printer works fine on place. I can print without problem.
  2. The printer is connected.
  3. All my router ports are open for outbound connections, including UDP.
  4. Communication using log in my router I can see that the printer can resolve DNS names using either my ISP DNS server or the suggested 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4. Using nslookup shows ' registration-pro - site1print.houston.hp.com "Decides to 15.240.60.111 and" registration-pro - site2print.houston.hp.com "Decides to 15.201.224.79.
     This indicates that the printer can indeed resolve the addresses. Newspapers also Awakenings that the printer communicates with the servers (connection is established and data transferred) via https (probably the web service), but always after a few minutes the clearance process is to expire.
  5. I tried this allowing the procedure since a few days my believe that the recording servers should have worked some time during this period.

  Who out there having the same problem I had. HP could not help me I restore to factory settings and reconfigured everything and all of a sudden the printer managed to enable web services and print the print code.

  Have you tried to make a color copy from your printer? Place a color document face down on the scanner bed and touch the copy option on the printer screen color.

  If the color copy comes out well, then the printer hardware is good and the issue would be with the print settings or drivers. Try the following steps to troubleshoot the same:

  • Click on the Apple menu icon and then click 'System Preferences '.
  • Click on "Printers and Scanner" / "print and scan" or "print and fax".
  • Right click on the empty space in the printer list and then click "reset printing system".
  • In the confirmation window, click "Reset".
  • Enter an administrator user name and password and then click on 'OK '.
  • Wait the printing system goes to zero and no show of devices in the list of printers
  • Click on the button "Add" (+).
  • Search for, and then select the name of your printer in the printer list and then click 'Add' to add your printer.
  • Click on "print using the...» "and then select the name of your printer (default"Airprint"would be selected)
  • Now, try to print and check. In addition, check the settings to print here: http://hp.care/2eiIZhE
