No option of LLTD protocol to the adapter wireless Broadcom 4322AG

My HP laptop comes with a wireless integrated Broadcom 4322AG adapter. I try to activate the network map so that I can share files with my desktop (XP). I tried to activate LLTD in the adapter, but I don't see the Protocol in the Properties window. When I click on "View full map" (from the connection network and sharing the control screen), I get the following message under my device "Windows cannot start mapping on the adapter. Please make sure that the adapter is connected or activated. It's the adapter used to connect to my network. I updated the driver to the latest version of HP, but I still don't see the LLTD protocol.  Appreciate all the help/pointers on this.

Thank you

Hi vraja_ak,

If you do not see the LLTD protocol in the network map in windows vista, you try adding the LLTD protocol in Network Management window.

(Control Panel must be in Classic view)
1. Start menu/Control Panel/network and sharing Center.
2. click on manage network connections.
3. right click on Local area connection.
4. Select Properties.
5. click on Protocol
6. in the next window, click on Link-Layer Topology Discovery responder, then click install to install it.
In the same way, do it for Link-Layer Topology Discovery Mapper of e/s Driver

Now, check if the option both are available in the network card.

I hope this helps!

  • Firmware of the device wireless Broadcom lost in an update of the BIOS

Hello, I update my BIOS netbook (Aspire One AOD250). Since the original factory version v1.23 for one, lastest v1.29. Everything went very well but the card wireless; It does not work. Operating system tells me: Broadcom BCM94312HMG. Firmware is missing. Light on this matter does not blink and do not respond to the power button (on the case also). It seems that the wireless card has been removed from the computer.

How can I solve this problem? Does anybody know?, thank you.

You can try to Flash the BIOS to 1.23 and see if the wireless card "returns".

It should not be affected by a BIOS update.

You see the card in the Device Manager?

Where do you get the message "firmware is missing?

and now finally, Netgear WG111v3. I just want to get the wireless desktop. I have a wireless G of Linksys WRT54G Router, D-Link print server currently works wireless. I have Zone Alarm Firewall and Avira AntiVir Personal Antivirus.

Yes, windows update is turned on and it's all good. The problem is once the driver software is loaded, then the hardware is installed. Windows never displays the wireless network adapter on any able to pick up a wireless transmitters. The error I get is: an unexpected error has occurred.   Seek to deepen, I read that he was saying that Windows could not set the IP address.

This would indicate that my software driver wireless network adapter did not work. Yes, I have installed internet access and it indicated on the Internet site, that the cd was the most recent driver so no additional download was necessary, use the cd to install the driver. In addition, went to the Windows 7 compatibility page and the netgear WG 111v3 that my current card is authorized for 64 bit. So, where should I go from here? Oh, yes the s5503w recognizes the hardware in the device mgr. He sees the driver software, it's like something is blocking the final stages of obtaining information IP/MAC of the wireless network adapter.

    Hello:

I would say that there is a problem with the 3rd party firewall.

I had the same network Netgear USB v2 card no less, and it works well with my setup of W7 64 bit on my HP PC.

I recommend you uninstall or disable the ZoneAlarm firewall.

W7 features of a firewall, your router WRT54G has a hardware firewall. I had one of those too, but moved to the E2000. I assume that your wireless network is secured in some way.  I think that this is your problem.

Did you know that you can get a free antivirus/antispyware software from Microsoft that works just great?

    Here is the link:

    http://www.Microsoft.com/security/PC-security/MSE.aspx

I think that it would cause less problems with my installation of other free software system. I have yet to be disappointed.

Yesterday, I put my laptop in hibernation and when he woke up wireless network did not work.
I checked the Device Manager and there is no adapter available wireless network, seems it is not listed by the system.

I tried to download and re-install the drivers of network wireless, but without success.

    Any suggestion?

The problem even if you restart your laptop?

By the way: is your notebook supported for Win7? I mean did Toshiba offers all the drivers needed and other things?

  • How to install the adapter wireless network in Satellite Pro A10

I'm trying to set up a wireless connection with my Satellite Pro A10. I thought it was active wireless, but when I switch the wireless switch, no light comes on and there is no card listed under network adapters wireless (so I guess not).

Is it easy to install a wireless adapter (i.e. can I do it myself or I must be done by a professional)? Can anyone recommend what card I should by (or any other that I should avoid)?

    Thank you.

    Hello

According to the specification of the specifications your A10 Pro Satellite is WLAN ready. In notebook specification it has listed two compatible WIFI cards:
    PA3212U-4MPC (Agere 802. 11b) and PA3273U-2MPC (802. 11a / b).

I don't really know if you can use some faster wireless network cards with the g standard. You may be lucky and someone will post here results update WLAN card.

I'm not sure 100% where the WLAN slot is placed but check it please under the lid placed close to the battery.

  • The adapter wireless HP 802.11 b/g do to start

    Hello

I had my HP Pavilion m7667c take a big jump from Windows XP to Windows 8 yesterday, and the wireless card will not start at all!  I tried rolling back the drivers and found a few that I thought would be useful on the Microsoft Update (http://catalog.update.microsoft.com/v7/site/Search.aspx?q=Atheros+wireless+adapter+HP) catalog.

The HP 802. 11 b/g seems to use a Qualcomm Athenos driver.

The current driver has also a date of 03/07/2012, would be so something other than drivers?

Wow - this one is quite old. I was not able to find something about it, and we won't have that available on HP.COM, then you may be better served by picking up a new external or internal wireless adapter. I doubt that we're going to work, and so you will get better results on a more recent version.

    just my opinion...

    Hi rchandba,

You must run as administrator vmware server to make the changes in the network

  • Adapter wireless Broadcom - able to connect only to google

    Hello

I am facing a problem with my wireless connection. I am connected to my wireless network, but not able to surf the net. I am not able to go to any Web site other than Google.com or google related websites (like gmail, orkut). Don't open all the other sites (cnn, yahoo, etc). This is a brand new laptop and I also did a system recovery. I also tried to download updated driver available for card "Broadcom 802.11a/b/g wlan.

Please could you provide a pointer as to what could be the problem?

the problem is resolved. I read on some forum that Broadcom wireless adapters do not work with WPA wireless networks. So I just change the type of my network wireless for WPE. This has solved the problem and I am able to connect to all websites using my wireless connection.

  • What are the options I have to upgrade the Wifi in the HP Pavilion Notebook M7-1015DX

The Pavilion M7-1015DX laptop I is equipped with a RALink RT5390R 1.1 802.11b/g/n wireless adapter.  He would go only to 54 Mbps until I found a link to RALinktech to get an updated driver which allows me now to get 150mbps.  But this is only half of what I can potentially get with my router.  I did research on the other card options wireless adapter HP with 'compatible' with this laptop.  As far as I see it, all are the same.  They have only max to 150mbps.

    The listed reference numbers are 655795-001, 675794-001, 657325-001 670691-001.

I need a replacement of the wireless network card that can achieve 300mbps using 802.11n.  All HP part numbers I listed are capable of 300mbps, or are there others that I can look at and buy?

With or without the bluetooth feature, no matter, I just need 300mbps talk to my router NetGear dual band.

I had the adapter wireless Intel Centrino Advanced - N 6230 works with the correct drivers now on this series of portable M7.

Also note: it's just a card Intel Centrino ordinary, not the ch (from what I can tell) and without a label to the HP part about this number.

HP had the pilot throughout their download section of this wireless card.

    Download SP58641

Wireless Intel, Intel PROSet and Intel my WiFi for Windows 7 drivers

The installation may or may not be delicate on your end.  It was for me and the package would not install right.  Go to the real folder that it expanded the installation files, and go to the win7\S64\Install folder and run Setup from there.

The installation takes a few moments, so be patient.  If Device Manager is open, you will see the detected devices and appearing as the drivers are installed.  Once installation is complete, you'll see a map of Bluetooth radio and at least 4 new entries under Network Adpaters.

I am now running at the full 300Mbps, on 2.4 Ghz and can easily connect to 5.4 Ghz on my router Netgear Dual Band, but at 54 Mbps.  (But I can probably change the channel on the router and get a faster connection speed.)

I strongly suspect that the 6230 model is not the only one who can work on this laptop, as the driver of HP is not specific to what model numbers of the adaters wireless Intel Centrino Advanced-N, then you might be able to run newer models, since we now know that this series wireless adapter is in the white list in the BIOS.

  • Working Group stopped after the installation of the new wireless router

My working group stopped working after the installation of the new wireless router.  Router was switched were to move from DSL to fiber optic.

I have a very simple home with two laptops working group, the two are connected with a wireless router.  A PC is running XP with the updates and service packs; the other PC is Windows 7 Home premium.  This working group was running without problems for a few years.  The Working Group has been used to share files between two laptops.  Internet access was through the DSL wireless router and print was with a wireless printer, without going through the working group.

I had my DSL set out to free fiber optic last week, which meant that a new wireless router has been installed by my local phone company.  Internet works fine; wireless printer works.  The working group no longer works.  When I try to connect from XP to Win7 and I click on mode workgroup computers, I get this message:

WorkGroupName is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this network resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permissions.

The network path was not found.

I tried to create a new working group, the new name for the same workgroup on both machines, but this did not help.  Working groups are supposed to be simple; This seems to be a problem on the new router - telco tech support says that nothing is stuck on the router. I don't believe them.

What version of XP you use (Home or Pro)?

Can you access the Win 7 a XP computer?

You have identical accounts, passwords on both computers?

If all that was done was to change routers without making any changes on the computers, the most likely cause of the problem is a third party (other than Windows) firewall on at least one of the computers.  Being by default, a router automatically assigns IP addresses to computers on your local network.  Different brands of routers, but use different address ranges.  For example, Cisco/Linksys routers typically use the 192.168 form addresses. 1.1 with 192.168. 1. 254, while the D-Link routers typically use 192.168.1 to 192.168.0.0. 254.  A firewall configured to allow only the first IP range blocks communication to the scope of the latter.

So... What is the name and version of your anti-virus program?
What other security software is installed?

On every laptop computer, open a command prompt window
for XP: start > run > cmd > OK
for Win 7: type cmd.exe in the search box and press enter
In the black command prompt window, type the following command and press enter
    ipconfig

Please provide the values for the following for the adapter wireless of each computer
    IP (XP)
    IPv4 address (Win 7)
    Default gateway

    Hello:

Your laptop is not supported by HP for Windows 8.  Only 8.1 and 7, 64 bit.

The "ton of"other devices"in Device Manager," are all devices that need drivers such as the wireless card.

Problem is there is no W8 driver for the wireless card model that your laptop is.

See if these drivers wireless and bluetooth works.  If they are not, I highly recommend you use your ethernet connection and take the free update for the windows store W8.1 and then install the relevant drivers you need.

This package contains the Broadcom Wireless LAN driver that is required to activate the LAN adapter wireless Broadcom integrated in the laptop models running a supported operating system. This package also contains the Broadcom Wireless Utility application.

    File name: sp69014.exe

This package contains the Broadcom bluetooth driver and software for the laptop models running a supported operating system. Broadcom Bluetooth 4.0 driver is required to activate the bluetooth 4.0 Broadcom devices and is compatible with Broadcom bluetooth 3.0 and earlier versions.

    Hello

Thank you for contacting Microsoft Community.
Is properly installed wireless adapter driver?
Go to start-> type devmgmt.msc-> press on enter. In the Device Manager window, expand network adapters. You should be able to see a list of network adapter as Ethernet, Bluetooth, etc. Make sure that you can find the adapter wireless from the list. If so, double-click it. Properties windows will be open. On the general tab, under device status, if it shows that the device is not functioning properly, please remove the case, locate the wireless network card and make sure the connections of antennas are coneected correctly. If even a connection is not properly connected or damaged, you cannot connect to any WiFi network.
