  Sorry you had a problem with the printer not appearing is not in the drop-down list.

  Try to restart the print spooler.

  1. click on Start Menu

  2. type Services in the search bar.

  3. click on it.

  4 scroll to Printer Spooler.

  5. stop and restart.

  Do not connect the printer to the computer with the usb cable. Try to uninstall all Lexmark software from your computer correctly by clicking on the Windows logo start menu > programs > Lexmark Series folder > tools > uninstall. Restart the pc. Also, check if your Windows 7 is running on the operating system 32-bit or 64-bit by clicking on the Windows logo start menu > right-click on computer > properties.

  Now, there is no driver Lexmark X 8350 specific for Windows 7, however, the Vista driver works. For the software, go to this link: http://bit.ly/cK7w07 (for 32 - bit) or this link: http://bit.ly/9pAWzM (for 64 - bit). Download and install the software. Follow the instructions. I hope this helps.

  Since I installed OSx El Capitan, I had intermittent problems with the USB ports to connect to my HP LaserJet printer.   I would like to start with the deskjet 9800.  It has more features compared to the 990c driver.   PLC3 driver will not favourable as the 990 c is an improved version of the PLC3.  If the drivers are not listed, run a windows update to gather all the drivers available through windows.  This can be done by using the windows update function (type windows update in the search box on the start menu) or click the windows update button in the dialog box that fills the other drivers.  You can also add the 5600 driver using this method or remove all the drivers and then reinstall driver 5600.  Please click here for the instructions step by step for it (after selecting the operating system, click + next to the driver).

  Also to eliminate any hardware related questions please consider below questions:

  1 was the only change in the transition to the new operating system environment?

  2. have you recently changed your cartridges?

  3. have you aligned the printer recently?

  4. don't you get the same result when printing in draft mode?

  What is the 'State' displayed for you?

  Open the Services applet (start > run > services.msc > OK) and scroll down to "print spooler".  The status should be started and the Startup Type should be automatic.  What are the parameters of your correspondents?  If your print spooler is stopped, you can try to launch it by clicking on the link, but I suspect that it stops again.  Please report the results of your efforts.

• printer scan works only with the new windows 7

  upgrade windows xp to windows 7 with the new HP Omni 220PC. Have a printer HP C309g-m. To scan from the printer to the computer xp, I had to use the HP Solution Center. The printer works very well with the new windows 7 program and new computer. I install wireless. No problems with it. Today when I went to scan a document with the HP Solution Center (I thought I had to use as before), this message came.

  all fixed. has crossed my computer to start then click HP click HP and open list. Went to my printer-clicked on my printer and clicked on the icon list to see if it worked correctly. This is a problem with the drivers and a box popped up with directions on where and how to download and install the devices for windows 7.

  QuickBooks worked very well under Vista? It should also work reliably on Windows 7.

  1. right click on your quickbooks start exe file and open properties.

  The problem is im using my DVD - ROM drive and it stops working. I went into Device Manager and it wasn't there and it was not in my list of drives. I went and checked the BIOS, it is not listed there either and the BIOS pick up all get them is check the cable or the conection.

  Would be grateful if some knows what happened or if my hard drive is gone.

  SW2 is no longer supported by the services ABOVE.

  I suggest that you do the update firmware via the application phone instead. In the application of SW2, you can search for new updates.

  Thanks for the update, rwillm.  It seems that the installation of the printer can be a little messed up.  If the printer software is always installed, but simply lacks the printer, then I would advise to do a little cleaning before choosing to add the printer back.

  • Make sure that the printer is deleted from the file devices and printers
  • Click on one of the remaining printers folder
  • Select the properties of the print server at the top of the window
  • Click the tab drivers
  • Remove all drivers in this window for the Officejet 4500

  Also check in the Device Manager to verify that there is no mention of remaining of the 4500.

  • Click on the start menu
  • Right click on computer
  • Select manage in the list
  • Click Device Manager in the list of questions on the left side of the window that opens
  • Click the view at the top of the menu, and then select Show hidden devices
  • Remove all references to the 4500 in the list of devices

  After making sure of the device is gone, I recommend bike devices in the power circuit: router, computer and printer.

  * Make sure the printer has a valid IP address after switching back on and is connected to the same network as your PC before adding the printer.

  If the IP address and SSID are good for the printer, then try to add the printer with the printer software, you have installed.

  • Click on the Start Menu
  • Click on all programs
  • Open the HP folder
  • Open the folder for the series of the Officejet 4500 G510
  • Select Add a device option
