No response for Blackberry BIS presentation

Hello

I have submitted to an assessment for the BlackBerry BIS push ID but received no response.  I tried twice and received no response in both cases.  Its been almost 2 weeks since my first attempt, a week since my second attempt.  I have not yet received an email confirmation that my application has been received.  I have double-checkd that messages are not in my junk e-mail folder.

Who should I contact to fix this?  The page asks to push ID does not provide contact information.

FOR INFO.  I got a response after about 2 weeks.    I also had to wait 2 weeks for my production license.  So day 2 working felt on their page is bad.  Expect to wait 2-3 weeks.

  • I need phones smart blackBerry my 8330 is put up for BES, BIS

    Hello there-thanks for reading.

I bought my 8330 from a person who was on Blackberry Enterprise Server.

I wiped the phone clean several times but unable to send/receive emails.

In fact, I don't have an icon of e-mail on my screen is optional for the BIS through the installation wizard.

When I try to "compose email" a message pops up saying "no mail service is configured. You will only be able to save the draft"

There are also strange settings that make me use a password to unlock the device. A small red lock is located next to "Enabled" under Options > Security Options > General settings > password.

The first day I got the phone configured by Sprint, I could receive emails (cannot send) but it only lasted 12 hours.

    Any help is appreciated,

    Hello

It is possible that there is a residual political left on the BB, that limits your use. This is a method of cleaning which:

In addition, since it is a used device, you must follow all the steps in this KB for the transfer... the other person may have to do the steps listed for "seller".

Even more, if your new carrier is not identical to the prior authorization, you may need to get unlocked to run entirely on your new carrier... BB see this FAQ.

  • Massive problems of Smartphones blackBerry with BlackBerry BIS AppID World after passage of provider

    Hello

I recently changed suppliers and got a bunch of different problems since then. The old provider deleted my BIS account, which of course also disabled the functionality of messaging push on my BlackBerry. I tried to register a new account with my new provider, which has failed for unknown reasons. After several calls to my new hotline providers, they finally suggested to reset my BB to factory default and try saving again. After resetting, pretty much the first thing I was invited with was connecting BlackBerry id I used my old login and just after that, in the Mail Setup dialog box, got the error once again that there is a problem with the application server and I can't create or open a session with a BIS account. I was wondering how he could know my BIS account, so I made an another factory reset and this time created a new BlackBerry ID. This time everything went well past the new BIS account was created in a few seconds and a test mail was delivered to my device immediately. I was happy enough, until I noticed that I could not restore all my data of BlackBerry Protect because of the new BlackBerry ID. Also all my applications were gone from App World, which is linked to the BlackBerry ID as well. So what I was wondering is now

    (1) why did my BIS account linked to my BlackBerry ID,.

    (2) how can I remove the link it and use my new BIS account with my old BlackBerry ID and

    (3) if I can't do it, how can I get my BlackBerry Protect and App World purchases return data?

I would have preferred the first two questions were answered, because I do not know to change providers and, therefore, accounts of BIS is a fairly common thing, so there must be some make it right, right? I hope that there is a way to solve this problem, because if I have to choose between 'keep apps but live without email' and ' have push email and redeem all applications ", I would probably choose Android instead.

PS: I also tried to find a way to contact RIM, so they could disassociate my old account my ID BlackBerry BIS somehow, but there is really no such thing as "BlackBerry Support". The only thing I found was a button on the page of the App World for a refund etc, but then again, the link was dead.

Just a brief update in case that someone else gets desperate as me. After the last response from sdgardne (a big thank you, btw) I had given up hope, because I didn't want to waste any more time with incompetent personnel of my ISP. But in a last shot I've collected a bunch of addresses email on the web I thought somehow on the RIM support/customer relations and sent an email describing my problem to each of them. I didn't really do anything, but after two or three days, I got a response. A big very nice person said "that is not a problem at all, we have corrected your account. Everything you have to do now is to make a backup, security - wipe your smartphone and connect with your old ID BlackBerry. "That's what I did, and it all works perfectly, with my new BIS account AND my old apps hour

    Way to go RIM!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Google Apps on Blackberry BIS - domain address custom synchronize calendar or Contacts with BIS

    Hello

I need to sync my Google Apps with my Blackberry 9900 OS 7

My company moved all our emails, place to stay in Google Apps - Gmail/Contact/calendar

and we use our own domain name for our emails (for example. [email protected]) with Google Apps - Gmail

When I tried to configure my email to company (for example. [email protected]) on the BIS to setup email, they are not able to detect my email of company is a Google Apps account and I need to manually enter my mail server, which is 'imap.gmail.com '.

Only with manual configuration, I am able to properly configure my business email Google Apps with BIS account.

BUT I am still unable to sync my calendar GoogleApps and contact, because there is no OPTION for me to 'Tick '.

But with my own personal e-mail account (for example: [email protected]), I am able to sync calendar and contacts on the BIS to facility Web site.

My question is, why is there a difference? Since the two e-mail addess domain (@abc.com and @gmail.com) are with GoogleApps - Gmail service.

Hope someone in Blackberry can help to answer this question and so it will be differently will strengthen the confidence or feature added to maintain the trust of the Blackberry users.

  • Email regular POP3 for blackBerry Smartphones will not be implemented

Hi guys, my small business has recently moved to a new dedicated server and after works well at first, now I am unable to set up one of our mailboxes on any BlackBerry (torch tried, "BOLD", curved) device on any carrier (Rogers, Bell Canada and T-Mobile, AT & T in the United States). I have try the basic settings (email address and password), then when this fails, advanced settings (which are necessary as my email user name is non-standard; it is always username + example.com when the address is [email protected] and the mail server is mail.example.com). After a long "treatment...". "I am told"address incorrect email and password. ... If the error persists, contact "my server" the thing is, all of these mailboxes works fine in any other client e-mail with the same settings (Outlook, Thunderbird, iPad, etc.) and as I said, worked fine a few times on BlackBerry before now doesn't work at all. In a sense, I am the administrator of my server, even if I was on with the support of my hosting provider and they are confused as well. This problem does not occur on any of their other similar hosted servers, only mine. My question for everyone here is if there is some process, some address, something to the RIM that should be allowed to communicate with my mail server tha could potentially be blocked in some way, and if anyone has any ideas on how I could know if what is happening. My default mail server is Dovecot (including the BlackBerry "Fastmail' service, which worked fabulously before this started), but I tried Courier so unsuccessfully for the mail server itself does not seem to be the problem. I am happy to provide additional information or even a test account, if anyone has a suggestion!

    Problem solved.

If someone needs to know, http://btsc.webapps.blackberry.com/btsc/search.do?cmd=displayKC&docType=kc&externalId=KB11036 describes the IP addresses that must be unlocked in order for the BIS interact with a mail server.

However, DO NOT included on this list has been 74.82.80.0/24, another server RIM, I discovered this morning had been blocked by my server. This list has been updated end of 2011, so I guess they changed things since then. Anyway, once I unlocked which will, everything works now.

Does anyone know how I can contact RIM and suggest they update their list so other people do not go through this?

  • Security of Smartphones Gmail blackBerry BIS and gmail app

    Hi all

I have a few questions on the application of gmail (probably not in the right place) and using gmail on BIS (native client for bb so).

First of all I would like to know if the data I send bis thru using the configuration of the phone messaging is encrypted to the server, as far as I understand the route is blackberry ==> provider ==> BIS ==> google ==> BIS ==> provider ==> blackberry servers, now are my password and mails encrypted during all this? I mean is all encrypted even after she passed through bis?

Secondly, if anyone knows I would like to know how gmail don't (m.google.com/mail) about encryption enforcement, I see in its parameters always "use secure connection" which should mean its all encrypted according to political right google?

Finally, if I used the gmail (google) app would always need a BIS subscription or just an internet connection would be nice?

I want to know is that mail Blackberry can be a little more uncomfortable for me because of the connection is slow, but I still want to be sure, only I noticed, is that newspapers BIS on my account gmail (pretty normal tho).

I see this has been discussed in the past, but he has never been a definitive answer, and I think (not tried however) this package sniffing brings me one either.

    Thanks in advance

PS: I hope that you will forgive the noobness, relatively new to BlackBerry, and since my carrier offers mobile internet and BIS in separated packages, I am a little lost.

  • Application of blackBerry for blackberry Smartphones Google

    Hello

I just downloaded google app for blackberry which redirects emails to blackberry and I also setup BIS with my network provider so I have copies of emails and it works very well... I was wondering if it works fine if I remove my network provider BIS and I just have data on my phone?

    Thank you

    Mihir

As long as this "data package" provided by your network provider IS the BlackBerry data Plan, you'll be fine.

Otherwise, a generic data plan or the boot does not work on BlackBerry.

  • Possible JSON response for submissions of blog comment?

    Hello

I created a blog of British Colombia. I'm trying to customize his 'Blog Post presentation details' to allow for the submission of comments using Ajax and JSON.

I already did for other forms of standard web site. However, things seem to work differently the Colombia-British comment submission form. I use this as a guide-

    http://docs.BusinessCatalyst.com/user-manual/CRM/Web-Forms/submitting-standard-Web-Forms-w ith-ajax-json

According to the guide, JSON response is meant to enter into variable 'msg' in the code section-

    success: function (msg) {...}

However, I have discovered that, instead of JSON, the variable 'msg' retrieves all of the HTML code of the page of confirmation of submission of comment system. That's why this screw then the rest of the presentation of comment Ajax/JSON. What can I do here?

    • Is it possible to apply the JSON response for submissions of comments?
    • Can I retrieve the system message for variable "msg" and make use of the message of confirmation of Ajax on my page?

    Thank you!

Only web forms custom correctly support this response JSON in British Colombia.

Quick response on 6 of my partner more running IOS 9.3.2 works very well with Whatsapp & my settings are the same as hers.

I had recently spent with an alphanumeric password to strengthen security on my iPhone when the problem of the quick answer appeared. I've since discovered that switch it on a digital 4-digit password solves the problem.
