  It could be the video format that you are working with. Is what kind of camera?

  I just had a quick glance and the solution is in the thread below. Uninstall 'Dell Support help' and 'Dell Support Assist Agent'. They have been automatically installed on your laptop in the last two days and seem to be causing the problem.

  As far as I know nothing is cut and the audio channel not locked. In my effects audio, everything is ready to 0db and on the counters, I can see the audio.

  CS - 4 PreE9 Confession: I'm totally new with PreE - treat me nice, please

  I seems to have triggered a switch somewhere that I can't see the video on the screen while I'm editing or reading. All I see are stills. If I click on the screen the image jumps to where ever the? bar (India/timing) has advanced. Sound seems to follow. I tried to do the Ctrl + Shift + Alt key during startup to reset all default settings. This does not help or do anything.

  Looks like you got the first Clip (the formation of clouds) selected. It also seems that you are in Control Panel Monitor Source for this Clip.

  To the right of this screen, you have tabs. Click the tab edit, with no selected Clips. What do you get? It should be the program monitor. The two look almost exactly the same, with only a few visible differences (will go back and study your screenshots a little more in detail). The Source monitor is used to preview (and also to make a few changes, such as trimming), while the program monitor is used to display the timeline.

  I updated a program called "Audio Edit' version 3.1.8 and now now hear speakers or headphones.  When I load to the top of this little program called Audio Edit, it will play the sound.  I don't know why this program was still in my window to update apps, but I've updated / downloaded and now it is at the origin of the problems where I hear my audio unless this program is running.  No sound from headphones or loudspeakers unless this program works.  At the start I can hear the beginning of sound, but after that no sound.

  I updated this yesterday and now no sound.  In any case, I can just go back in time before this update / download from the app store?

  Click on "exit".

  2. What is the version of Windows installed on the computer?
  3. What program did you use to burn the DVD?

  It is possible that the files on DVD are not supported by the DVD player.

  Test the DVD on another computer and check if the problem persists.

  You can download the klite codec from the internet pack. Its useful and compatible with windows. During installation, you must select "run in format .mp4 with windows media player.
