No sound, HP 2009 m Monitor

I have my monitor connected to my computer to HP p2-1334. I have a red x through my icom speaker at the bottom right of my screen. I use Windows 8.1 and when I troubleshoot I get the message no headphones or speakers connected. I downloaded the drivers purchased new cable VGA and DMI. When I go to properties it says device working properly

I SOLVED THE PROBLEM... I had NOT BLOCKED FROM MY DESKTOP to MY MONITOR speakers...

  • Dynadock U3: 2 monitors external installed but sound on only 1 monitor

    Hello

I just installed T24D391 2 monitors to my laptop to A.s.u.s using the Dynadock U3.0. 1 monitor is connected using HDMI (main monitor), the other is connected with VGA (extended scrreen).

Audio output however comes only through monitor 1 (main, connected monitor via HDMI). The second monitor has no sound output whatsoever.

Even when I change the screen 1 to extended and 2 on the screen, only audio screen 1 (now the extended) of the screen.

-> How is it possible to have the sound on both screens at the same time?

    Thank you!

HDMI interface provides video and audio signals.
VGA interface provides a video signal only.

I guess that's the reason for the lack of sound

I tried 2 different speakers and nothing, I tried to use headphones and nothing, he said: "no output device available." I deleted the BezelServices.plist and rebooted, I started in SafeMode... nothing doesn't work. I have it hooked up too a gateway FPD1560 TFT LCD monitor. There is no USB ports or sound jack on the screen itself that I'm missing. If someone else has had this problem and how they did solve it?

disconnect whatever it is connected to the headphones Jack

go to: Menu Apple > System Preferences > Sound > output tab

    Select the internal speaker:

If a headset that works, an amplifier connected to speakers or a speaker powered (built-in to a speaker amplifier)

I have a late 2009 Alienware Aurora and want to add a Dell P2715Q monitor. I don't seem to have the good ports to connect the two. Can someone suggest a solution (short of buying a new computer). I want the solution to allow me to get the HD display on the screen if possible.

  • HP 2009 m Monitor - screen scratches

It is difficult to put into words what it does exactly, so I took a video of it:

    http://www.YouTube.com/watch?v=66UiA9h950M

I've only had the monitor about 4 months, and I woke up this morning for this.

I got this monitor as a complete package, and the PC itself works very well. I don't know what to do next.

    Your advice is appreciated.

Avidan, you can update the driver day before contacting HP.  This is not like a driver problem, but who knows what can happen.

Here is the page How to contact HP .  You can use the method that makes you more comfortable.

Checked audio devices in my dashboard as well as volume.  Can not get sound

If your monitor driver CD is included with your monitor, then use the CD and install the drivers for the monitor speaker. If you have already done this than trying to update the driver and make sure that you use correct driver for your monitor as well as the President. Or check your sound card driver.

  • Varying sound levels of my S2415H monitor

The volume of the sound of my S2415H monitor is variable. It is connected to a laptop Dell Inspiron L502X that produces consistent, high enough volume that I need to reduce.  After a restart, the screen produces reasonable, but not high enough volumes I read to reduce.  However, after some time, the volume of the monitor becomes so weak that I can't hear it.  Restarting my computer restores the volume for a while.

This has happened for a few months and becomes tedious.  Any suggestions would be most warmly welcome.

    Get it exchanged.

  • Default sound will remain unresolved. Keeps swinging back on my monitor.

When you try to listen to something, there is no sound through my speakers or headphones. When I go into Control Panel, the default sound is on my monitor. I go to my speakers but the button set as default value is grayed out.

I stay together and keep coming back to the screen.

Try to zap the PRAM or reset the SMC.

  • my monitor is in "sleep" and he can't get out

I have a HP 2009 m monitor is stuck in mode 'sleep' and he won't come out of him. I tried all cables cords, turn on and off the computer since I can only turn off by forcing it to restart I hit all the functions on the screen and he wakes not it I cannot enter in the computer to see whatever it is just a black screen.just lately I have made a download and it works after download , but I noticed that the monitor was Granie. Help, please!

Hello! You could try a reset of the power. It helped me a few times on older computers in my village.

Shut down your computer. Unplug your Tower from the socket. Hold the power button for 30 seconds with the Tower disconnected from the mains. Plug the power cord back into the tower. Hold the power button until the lights are we (5seconds)

This clears the memory and discharge capacitors. It works for me. If your monitor has gone bad, it's another story. You will need the excess to another monitor.

  • HP PAVILION 550-126: start PC Desktop Monitor question

Installed a HP Pavillion PC with Windows 10 550-126.  I plugged my old model monitor (2009) PC Pavillion, which is a HP 2009 m.  HP 2009 m monitor had a DVI connection, so I bought a DVI adapter to HDMI to connect the new 550-126 Pavilion.  At the start of the monitor shows nothing.  It takes a long time (5-10 minutes) before the login page appears.  When starting I have pressed the "Source" button on the HP 2009 m monitor and it comes up with a block that says "Check Vidoe cable", the block is delivered on one that says DVI is scanning, then digital asset.  I'm trying to understand if the problem is I use an adapter DVI to HDMI or if there is something else that happens - or I need to get a screen that has a direct HDMI to HDMI connection.

    Thanks for the help.

    It's the adapter.

If you want the video to appear quickly, you'll need a display more modern.

Yours is a type of old-school LCD vice a LED modern type.

Fortunately, most modern screens usually have a HDMI input.

  • 251 - a123wb Office with22uh MB: sound issues

Just got this system 2 days ago. Apparently there is no sound associated with this monitor.  I'll have to buy speakers? I did have a system of office for many years. Where would I plug in speakers? I looked at the back of the monitor. Don't see any type of connection. Please help me!

    Hello:

Yes, you need to buy a set of speakers for computers and they plug into the back of PC Tower, not the monitor.

Here is the link to the section of the motherboard of your PC and the ports are marked as to where things hook up to.

You would connect the speaker plug in port number # 8.
