  I missed something 'new '. Today I learned that no matter what I do - if I export a sequence in the timeline and imported it into the project it does matter as the film, but without any noise. With some codec I can play the clip as it should be in the windows 7 ultimate explore but sometimes I also automatically get a HD file and audio files like wav as a separte thing. I never had this before. In fact, what I want to do is to create a sequence of my calendar and have as a separat HD-file to be used as much as in the project.   It's very probably operator error.

  Several images and sounds separately export formats.  This is normal and due to these formats, such as DVD and Blu - ray.

  Be sure to know what you are doing with exports and choose appropriately.

  You can copy the clips with the CTL + C standard 'copy' command and paste anywhere else in any sequence with the CTL + V standard "Paste" command.  (Be sure to set track targeting first).

  OK, here's my problem - I have a set of audio interface Protools Digi 002 via Firewire 400 on a PowerMac G5 I was lucky enough to be given last year.   Well, that's no euphemism - in fact it makes the mac completely useless for my needs, I need the outputs clean digital noise to send for outboard effects/EQ/etc.

  As it was a common fault, I was hoping someone might be able to shed some light on a workaround solution, as I can't imagine recording ground studios just stop until this has been fixed by releasing a new G5?

  The only idea that I came up with so far is to buy a transformer of isolation, but I'm not entirely convinced that will solve the problem?

  The first versions of the dual processor G5 have problems of noise . The first is ground loop- based interference,^[5] , which causes sometimes analog audio output sound leaks. This bug has been fixed in Rev. B G5.

  The second problem of noise came from his "tweets", which can be triggered by power fluctuations. For example, display or hide the Dock makes a short beep. Many blamed the power supply used in the G5 as the cause, but this theory has never been confirmed. A very effective workaround is to disable microprocessors 'siesta' using Apple CHUD Tools, but this was not recommended by Apple. This noise problem has not set until the generation of dual-core G5s was produced, but it does not affect the model of "Late 2004" (at least there have never been reports).   Just one last note on the use of CHUD tools to disable the 'Nap' on the G5 Dual functionality: restart your machine reactive 'Nap '. You may have already seen this on the Apple forums. Kind of a bummer - although I rarely shut down my machine. In any case, running with 'Nap' off today seems to have resulted in a significant increase in general speed/responsiveness for me (I'm still running the stock 512 MB RAM, with another 1 GB on the way).

• Firefox does not play sound in any HTML5 player.

  When trying to play any sample of any album sold in Bandcamp.com the player starts to play, but there is no sound. Meanwhile, other browsers it plays very well.

  I use the last FF, I tried to disable various addons and plugins, but it did not help (they are not sound related in any case).

  I run on Win8x64.

  Update: the sound plays very well everywhere else on Firefox. YouTube, etc. He plays everywhere except Bandcamp.

  Finally, after hundreds of hours I fixed it and Firefox plays sound in HTML5, YouTube (HTML5 mode), SoundCloud, Bandcamp and etc.

  It takes: right click on your speaker icon / in the system tray and select playback devices, go to properties of speakers (one that is green-checked, also turn off the reds, as appropriate), then go to improvements and check Disable all sound effects. And that of it, restart the browser and enjoy.

  In short: Volume mixer-> peripheral reading-> reading tab-> properties-> improvements speakers-> disable all sound effects-> restart of the browser.

  I use latest stable Firefox 23.0.1 on Windows 8 x 64 (but Firefox is 32-bit).

  In addition, if didn't need help, make sure that you have media.windows - media - foundation.enabled value 'true' about: config.

  You should also have a few decent codecs installed on your machine, I have VLC Player and it comes with lots of built-in codecs. Also make sure you have VLC Web Plugin active in Add-ons-> Extensions (always activate)

  So the answer is which a problem is who? Is Firefox? Or Windows 8? Or my fault of Realtek audio drivers? (In any case without disabling sound effects, HTML5 works fine in another browser, so I blame this nonsense for additional configurations in the audio settings of Windows with Firefox)

  I am a web developer and since the 22nd of Firefox update, sounds no longer play for all users on the Web site. I even recreated the problem myself on a clean install of windows install quicktime 7/firefox/polluted. The beep code worked flawlessly before the update 22.0 and caused a huge gap between my users and myself, for the most part to blame me and don't put any blame on Mozilla. • Computer crashes when reading custom sounds

  After downloading any file using Download Manager or DownloadThemAll, Firefox will freeze my computer. The hard disk completely stops. The keyboard and mouse are unresponsive; not even the caps or NumLock can turn the lights on my keyboard.

  I did a disk check and a memory test, which found no errors.

  When to disable the download completed sounds for two of these addons, Firefox functions normally.

I uninstalled java and reinstalled java 6 32 bits, but that does not solve the problem. I think of a sound driver can have gone wrong, but it makes no sense that I can player other sounds seems fine, even Java take like Minecraft.

  Java - I rolled back to version 6 I thought it might be my problem.
  Adobe Reader
  QuickTime
  Google Earth
  I also have the VLC Player web, which was up to date.

  I recently came across a YouTube video which could cause in the same way to the crash site, so apparently, players can have the same effect.

  I'll check my audio drivers as well to see if they could also be at fault.

  After updating the drivers, the problem disappeared. We are assuming that the problem was corrupt, drivers may be caused by 64-bit java 7, but this is just speculation.

  I recently bought a new PC and I immediately ran into an audio problem that I can't understand. I get no sound at all from the rear audio input jack. I'm getting sound before making, and the plug rear mic works. When I plug something into the rear socket, a message appears grateful that there is something. When I checked the sound settings while it is plugged into the rear outlet, the equalizer is moving, which indicates that he gets his. But nothing comes out when I plug headphones or speakers in.   Have you tried to connect another device to this port, whether it of a different set of speakers or earphones, headphones just to test if one of them works?

  What it is connected to the front port at the same time? If so, then disconnect this device and try again the rear port and let me know if there is a change.

  Also try this: desktop HP-no sound on speakers (Windows 8).

  Please let me know if any of the work of tip for you suggestions and if we don't solve your problem, please mark this message as a solution. Bravo would be appreciated as well.

• Satellite A500 - crackling sounds and blue screen

  Hey everybody.

  I bought a laptop Toshiba Satellite A500-19w about 4 days ago (today it is Sunday, March 7, 2010).

  I had the sounds of crackling of my speakers which have been mentioned so many times in the forums, no real solution.
  I also experienced the crash of the blue screen, that's already happened 7 times while I was not strongly using my newly buy laptop.
  I'm not looking for a repair or a replacement, because I find it quite unacceptable to have to think about the errors, faults & fixes as much as the laptop is brand new.

  What I want is a refund, but I'm not sure on how to do it.

  I know that Toshiba has some sort of refund policy, but if someone can tell me exactly how it works, because I want to get rid of my laptop as soon as possible (I will not buy any more portable Toshiba, especially since I had some similar problems with my Qosmio f30).
  If someone can give me some guidance, because I don't want to be mocked or used and cheated out of refund.
  I bought my Toshiba in the Middle East (perhaps refund policies are different here).

  If you want to pay off your laptop, you should talk with your computer store where you bought it. Only the can repay your laptop and not Toshiba directly.

  It is not a fault, it is actually a feature of the Realtek sound card.
  You must click the icon AvRack it's on your desktop (blue crab)
  Somewhere there is an option to disable this feature or change the effects :)

  I have a problem for some time now - sound was only from headphone jacket, not built-in speakers.

  Hmm... probably its hardware fault... as far as I know the headphone contains a small switch that allows to switch the headphones and speakers.

  Of course, this is just my personal opinion...

  But it would be interesting to know if the speaker appears after system recovery...

• Satellite M60-135: no function Sound Mixer level controls to "CD player".

  On my Satellite M60-135 (Toshiba original Setup) Windows XP Sound Mixer shows a slider of level setting for the drive but it doesn t work.
  I can drag the level control or may mark the mute control for CD player, but it has no effect.

  I tried to disable digital playback in the device driver for the DVD-RAM device but it doesn't change anything on the level control.

  Is this a general problem of the Satellite M60, is a specific defect of my M60 or can it be fixed by updating all the drivers?

  Believe me that this is not a problem or any kind of fault. As you know CD players used on desktop computers have audio out port. This level control Configurator will be used just for them. Portable CD or DVD player has this audio separated on the port and that this option cannot be used. The same situation is on my Tecra M1.

  In addition, it is a tool of Microsoft and Toshiba has no influence on it. As you know there is no OS designed only for laptops and this option is that it can not be used.

• No sound from Bluray

  Got a Pavilion Elite HPE-495UK i7 running 64-bit windows 7.  For some reason, I can not all sounds during playback of a Blu Ray movie.  Apart from this, the sound is fine for CD and DVD.  Today I installed a Blu - Ray burner in spare but original Blu ray drive time slot and now the writer will not play a Blu - ray soundtrack. Today is the first time I tried to play a Blu ray film, so I suspect that the fault has always ben here.
