No sound no reinstallation of Windows XP
I have a Dell Latitude D620. I forgot my password of windows on this computer and I was told that the only thing that I could do a reinstall of XP. I did re-install it on a disc that came with the computer. I have a picture (which is bad), internet connection, but no sound. I checked the audio drivers, tried to make an update, reinstall, but in vain. Device Manager shows a number of pilots under the other heading that are marked yellow - I tried to update those but without success. I have a Realtek audio, but after update get a code 10, whatever that means. What can I do to recover my sound and to improve video quality? Thank you very much!!! Cliff
Where did you try and update the drivers from?
Here is a link to the Dell page for your model...

You may need also a Dell resource CD wich will install drivers without the use of the internet.
Install the drivers in this order...

- Network (including wireless)

Re-installing Dell inspiron 19 has windows 7
People,
I have a Dell Inspiron 19. The Dell of Dell diagnostics disk utilities & drivers say all right. It is a Seagate 320 GB drive. I installed the drive on another computer and used sea tools to erase the disc. Then I created a partition and marked as "bootable".
When I try to use the Dell reinstallation DVD Windows 7 Home premium SP1 64-bit, it crashes when is about to display the windows logo. A few pixels logo show and then it's there. Any ideas? I worked on it for several days. Really a "stumper" for me and I did something like that for years!
Original problem seems to be a massive viral infection (owner had no active antivirus software installation!) which led to the non-bootable computer. After working on this for a while, I decided to just do again it.

I can't record new sound effects Director of windows.
I can't record new sound effects Director of windows. I have a recording camera that can record sounds as well, and it works on my laptop, but it totally broke and now I have to use my computer at home. How do you store new sound effects?
If you type tape in the box start the SEARCH Menu you can make use of this program?
See the program Sound Recorder help for more details.
To use sound recorder, you must have a card sound and speakers installed on your computer. If you want to record the sound, you also need a microphone (or other audio input device).
You can play the audio file is saved on your computer by using a media player program.
Maybe you can install and connect the camera to your computer and use that out there? Your second computer recognizes the camera? You may need to install the appropriate drivers for this camera model.
Right-click on the Volume icon near the clock and select the recording devices (when your camera is installed) and see what he says here.

Play a new sound event during the Windows logon procedure
Hey all,.
I recently added a new event of sound program in the windows registry (HKEY_CURRENT_USER\AppEvents\Schemes\Apps\. Default value; This is the path where information about sound events, for example the logon Windows Audio, audio device connection, etc.).
I want the sound to be played when a user enters a wrong password in the logon screen. Is there a way to change the code of the winlogon process so that I can allow Windows to play this sound event? If not, is there another way to achieve this?
Take a look at this article:
It's a really pretty complicated procedure because it might require playing with the code, which quite frankly, I'm not the strongest. I'm thinking that it's too tedious to mess with.

Hello
After a reinstall of the operating system, you must reinstall the latest drivers from your computer manufacturer's website:
Go to the website to make your computer > Driver and Software Support Section > search your computer or hardware model number > then your operating system > locate the correct drivers > download and install.
________________________________________
And you do not tell us why you did a reinstall and if there reboot/freeze before you did this reinstall.
FYI: Desktop computers normally are Wi - fi unless you install additional hardware for this.

Noise inside a desktop computer can be caused by fan/s or harddrives about to fail.
Go to the website of your computer manufacturer > search your computer specifications > know brand of hard drive > access the Hard Drive manufacturer's Web site > find and download hard drive Diagnostic software and make a record of start of it on the computer that you use to get here, following their instructions > test your hard drive...

Impossible to reinstall cs5 after reinstallation of windows 7?
A few years ago, I upgraded from Pagemaker 6.5 to CS5. Recently, I had to make a full recovery and reinstallation of Windows 7. Now, it seems that I can not reinstall the CS5 without the original Pagemaker app, I do not have. Is there a solution short buy set the program now?
to reinstall an upgrade, you will need the serial number of the upgrade version and the version of that upgrade.
For more information on the location or the registration of serial numbers, please see this help link:
Quickly find your serial number
Once you have two serial numbers, you can download it here: Download CS5 products
Please see the instructions to extract the files and install your product.

I have not found it as the codec just to try to reinstall it.
Can anyone helpe me?

Hello Luiz,
Try the following.
Download IDT Audio Installer on the link below and save it in your downloads folder.
http://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp63501-64000/sp63555.exe
One time finished, open windows control panel, open Device Manager and open sound, video and game controllers. Right click on the IDT device and select uninstall - also, you should get a command prompt to delete the current driver, check the box allow this and then proceed to uninstall.
When you are finished, download and reinstall the Chipset driver at the following link.
Once the reinstallation is complete, turn off the laptop by pressing the SHIFT key when you click farm to temporarily prevent a hybrid boot. One time finished, disconnect the power adapter, and then remove the battery. Press and hold the Power button for 30 seconds. Reinsert the battery and plug in the AC adapter.
Robinet tap away at the key esc that you start the computer to launch the Start Menu, and then select f10 to open the bios menu. Press f5 to load the default values (sometimes it's f9, but the menu below indicates the correct key), use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and press ENTER. Press f10 to save the setting and still use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and press on enter.
Allow Windows to fully - charge it will automatically load an audio driver, but let just this complete. Then open your download folder, right-click on the IDT Installer and select "Run as Administrator" to launch the installation. Once this done, do a right-click the speaker icon in the taskbar and select playback devices. 'Speakers and headphones' left click once to highlight, and then click the Set Default button - check if you now audio.
Kind regards
