  Try to play videos in Internet Explorer and check.

  1 - is this problem come just playing one Matroska file or all those files?
   
  To read Matroska x 264 files in a Windows computer, you will need to appropriate decoders. Your computer does not have appropriate decoders or decoders you have might not work properly.

  My mother tried to use the photo frame to see the videos shot by her Nokia phone. And the problem was only that no sound has been replicated by the photoframe

  Video: MPEG4 Video 640 x 480
  Audio: AAC 48000 Hz mono 768 Kbps

  I am also a user Gigaframe L81.
  I asked the Support Toshiba team, if he releases a firmware update or something.
  They said no. Toshiba is not going to add support for AAC to L80 & L81 right now.
  If Q80 & Q81 actually support AAC & AAC audio streams support MP4 video files, I cannot say for sure, because I only own a Gigaframe L81.

  I think the best way is, your parents must buy a Q80 or 81 and test this.
  If both this doesn´t supports AAC streams they could restore the frame within 14 days.

  If they support the AAFC, they can sell their L81 framework and celebrate the Q80 or the Q81.

  If I play the video in Photos, sound works fine... Any ideas?

  Do not hang out, but use the ➙ unmodified export Original for 1 video file menu option.  See if that you will get a playable file.

  The file you are trying to play may not be supported in Windows Media Player.
   
  You will have to perhaps download and install the codecs that support the file type for Windows Media Player.

  I use CS3. I have a clip mpeg video and a file audio wav on the timeline. The video / audio is not multiplexed. They are connected on the timeline. What I have is the video and audio link and go in the source with the hardware monitor...   I can change the subitems etc. of the source monitor and put in a new video layer on the timeline.

  When I put the video and the sound file in the source Panel, edit the video and slide on the timeline that this video goes to the timeline.

  Is there a way to link in the source, so the video monitor and sound can be edited to timeiline?

  Rod,

  I'm not aware of a direct way, one click to do this, but you could put your Audio & video on the rails of the good in a sequence, sync them, and then export a multiplex. Import into a new sequence, and everything will be content, as you wish.

  Maybe someone will point out this method in one click. You have CS3, right?

  I just bought the new Windows 8, but the sound does NOT work! The audio and video such as youtube has ton of lag and does not work. I did what a technical support technician said to do. the convenience store did not work no matter what and I uninstall and re-install the drivers. What else might work?   I have a XPS 15 (L521X), and recently my sound has stopped working everytime I try to play videos. This includes videos related like on Facebook, Youtube and Netflix. The videos will not play sound through the speakers of the laptop, headphones or auxiliary speakers. However, I can still play music on sites like Spotiify.

  I checked all my audio drivers and they all say that they do not work properly. Solving audio problems not found something or the other. My main browser is Chrome and have not so far found any kind of audio that could be the cause. Also, I am not aware of all the parameters of Spotify which would block audio from other sources.

  And Yes, I tried turning the volume up... and also completing a diagnosis of the Dell Support.
