  • The drivers are all workers, but still no sound with windows 7

I have a frustrating noise problem. My sound worked completely fine until yesterday. When I start my computer, I realized that no sound came out. I went through many forums to find the solution and I checked all the simple stuff like making sure my devices are activated, an active audio service, reinstalled / updated audio drivers etc... I even went into the BIOS and loaded by default and still no sound. I've gotten to the point where I don't know what I can do. Help please!

    Hi all

I'm sorry that you are running in this issue of no sound. You get any sound with headphones?

Also, I would suggest trying a hard reset as the next faster and less invasive stage. This can sometimes fix strange problems because it drains all the electricity unit. Here are the steps for a Hard Reset.

I hope this helps! Let me know the results, if you have a chance

  • Installation of a cd-rom that is not compatible with windows 7 in my notebook window 7

I have windows 7 installed in my notbeook and you want to install a cd-rom that is compatible with windows 98, NT4, 2000, ME and XP. How can I do?

    Hi Rodrigo,

-You try to install any program from the CD ROM of your laptop? Or if you are referring to the compatibility of the equipment (CD-ROM drive).

-You receive a message about compatibility when installing programs from the CD?

If you are referring to the CD ROM drive the hardware itself, you can install the equipment on any operating system of Windows from Windows 95 to Windows 7 and Windows will load the generic drivers for your CD ROM and it should work with all versions of Windows.

If you install a program from the CD of your laptop and the receipt of all messages about compatibility, you can access the link below and follow the steps to install the program in compatibility mode and check if it helps.

  • Latitide D810 - lost all sound with Windows 7

    Greetings!

I recently installed Windows 7 Professional on my Dell Latitude D810. After installation, I've lost all the audio features. My volume control in the Quick Launch bar States, "no Audio output device is installed". I ran the "problems of detection" to try and fix the drivers, but it wasn't able to fix it.

My next step is to check the drivers of Dell and downloads site and they do not have a driver for my computer with Windows 7. However, I have read on other sites that people have had any audio problems with installing Windows 7 on their Latitude D810s. Others have claimed to have had problems, but have been able to find the drivers for their audio problems.

Through various websites and download, I tried the following driver executables: D810_A05.exe, R99254.exe and S1wua01i.exe. It's audio drivers I found for XP and Vista, but they no longer work.

Does anyone else have other recommendations in pilot? Or links to other drivers, I can at least try?

At this point, anything would be helpful! A lot of satisfaction and thanks in advance...

    See if it works:

Download driver Sigmatel R99254. Unzip it but cancel the installation process. (Skip this step if you still have this driver).
It will unzip the files and store them in a folder on the hard disk to c:\Dell\drivers\R99254, and this folder will be a subfolder named WDM.

Open Device Manager and expand system down devices. Locate the PCI Device with one? next to it (or if it is not there, then look for "Multimedia Audio Controller"). Go to properties and select Update driver. Select to manually locate the driver and let Windows not seek.
    Go to c:\Dell\drivers\R99254\WDM

With a bit of luck, it should detect new hardware, and one of them should be the Sigmatel.

  • No sound with Windows 8, HP G60 - 437 CA Notebook PC

Hello! Can someone help me with this problem?

I have no sound on my laptop because I've upgraded Windows Vista to Windows 8. Tried various things offered on the forums and on the HP website. Nothing seems to work. Should which driver I download? What should I do?

    Thank you!

    You are the very welcome.

I would say at least a dozen people have posted about it, and no one can fix it.

    I don't understand either.

  • Satellite A100 - no sound with Windows XP Pro SP3

    Hello

I'm the reconstruction of a laptop Toshiba A100-PSAA9A-10U038 with a new installation of Windows XP Pro SP3.

At this point, I have not all sounds (Yes, the volume is set to the top).

As this is my first post I covered I hope that most of the bases as with SP3 and I installed all the updates available from Toshiba and Microsoft - well at least, I guess I have. I downloaded the latest updates from Realtek who advised in a general forum but no luck.

Device Manager tells me that there are problems with a "PCI Device" and a "unknown device", and I assume that one of these two is the culprit.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

    Hi mate

I think that you have installed the driver of his evil.
    See this page:
    http://www.MyToshiba.com.au/support/notebooks/satellite/A100/psaa9a-10u038/download?OS=22

you will find all of the Win XP drivers for this model of laptop.
As you can see there are two different Realtek drivers:
    V Realtek Audio Driver 5.10.0.5253
    -Realtek ALC861 Audio Driver 5.10.0.5200

To my knowledge, you have the Realtek HD audio Manager.
But before install you the audio driver SP3 must be installed, it seems, that you did
However, the most recent audio Realtek driver can be downloaded from the Realtek page directly.
Select this check box, and then choose Manager Realtek HD audio for Win XP.

    Should work.

  • No sounds with Windows XP (new installation)

I just installed Windows XP on my desktop (had to go back to the old computer, current its motherboard is dead) but I can't not all system sounds.  I have the latest service pack installed also.
In Control Panel, I go to "Sounds, speech, and audio devices" to adjust the volume and get "no audio device".  From the "Add Hardware" screen, I see the point yellow mark on controller audio ones but have no luck in auto by installing one of the computer.  Can someone point me in the right direction here?  I want to get this system running until I can get a new one!  Thank you!!

Your computer come with a driver for Windows XP installation disc?

If this isn't the case, look for Windows XP audio drivers for your computer model on the web site of the manufacturer.

  • Realtek sound with Windows 7

    I have a HP model of office p6206uk. Windows 7 64-bit.

A month or two back, I started to have problems "without sound".   This coincided with an update of Windows, but persists even when I go back to an earlier recovery point...

It seems that the Realtek driver is not recognized whenever windows starts or emerges from energy savings.

Initial message was "no audio device is installed", and of course, nothing shows in Device Manager.

I have (several times!) update, reinstalled and recovered by installing the driver manually, automatically via Windows Update, Recovery Manager and HP Support Assistant ways.  No fix the issue that the pilot has disappeared again on the re-start or re - feed.

In addition, when I get recognized driver, I will then meet variations of other issues from Realtek, like 'you just plugged/unplugged' and its intermittent stutters.  Tips welcome!

I don't see why USB powered speakers cannot solve anything, something like THIS can.  Good test anyway.  Most would go for a traditional approach, if the PCI-e slot is open.

  • No sound in Windows 7 32 - bit (Notebook Toshiba)

    Hi all.

First of all, I want to say, it is of a Toshiba Satellite P105-S9337 and this is a new installation of Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit. Now, on XP, this laptop was perfectly fine - everything worked correctly. However, after installing Windows 7 seems to have met a problem with the audio does not. The details are being Toshiba V4.70 19/01/2009 - BIOS SMBIOS Version 2.4. The motherboard, from what I can tell, is called a P105-S9337 motherboard (shrug).

Now I have almost tried everything. Before everyone tells me, Yes, I ran the store and check to see if my audio is enabled, the value by default, etc, etc. Windows 7 downloaded and installed its own version of the Conexant SmartAudio HD2 high-definition (4.36.7.60; 2008-04-11). However, has no - no sound.

I was in the Web from Toshiba site and downloaded their Conexant Audio Driver for Windows 7 (v4.8.0.0), 04/09/2009. When defective, I downloaded versions of Windows Vista, they come out to see if they work. Also missed me. Then I fell a P105-S9339 version - to see if its pilots would work. However, nothing was done.

I checked with programs that automatically download the drivers needed, but who has not yet detected that there is a problem. I can even open the playback Menu and it displays "Speakers" and "SPDIF Interface" listed. I'm going to play a song, and it will show the volume on the speakers!

The only time where I hear audio is if I plug in headphones. I can hear sounds through headphones, but no speakers.

Also one thing I've observed. Whenever I update to automatic pilots of Windows 7 to the latest drivers Conexant 4.8, my reading of "Speakers" changes to "internal Audio / headphones." Why would it be?

Please, I've worked on this all day. I can't find a solution!

My husband has had the same problem after I installed Windows 7 on a Toshiba Satellite P105-S9722 which was previously under XP. After a lot of research and frustration, we had to try theDriver Conexant Audio for Windows Vista(v3.18.0.51; 02-02-2007; 2.3M)

I guess that they do not have a stable driver for 7, but the Vista driver worked instantly. I hope this has helped!

  • Satellite L40 - 14N: no sound with Windows XP Pro downgraded

    Hello fellow owners of Tosh

I just got my L40 - 14N slow Vista to XP, which went well, to a point.

All the drivers I used comes from the Toshiba web site, including the * "Realtek High Définition Audio Codecs R1.84" * it did not work. If I go into Device Manager all the yellow dots mark are now gone! But I have no sound and when I enter the control panel of configuration/sounds it is indicating "No. Audio Device.

He had the same problems or ideas would be great.

    JC

PS. I have also the wi - fi light does not work, not really fussed on this subject, it worked on Vista!

    It's easy.
I've seen many users with the same issue.
The problem is that you didn t install the patches from Microsoft XP.

Patches are needed for the operation. First you must install the KB888111 and KB835221 hotfix before you install the audio driver.

Maybe you should take a look here also:
