No Start Menu found after the HP updates

You just bought a HP desktop computer refurbished for professional use two weeks ago, and has been updated and all necessary networking for work. However, when I allowed HP to install updates and reboot for such updates take effect, I have received a "No Boot Menu Found" error and was unable to get any more with the start-up.

I tried to go through the networks, and I got the same error of Start Menu. Have not been able to find a lot of help from the internet, everyone was given wrong answers from HARD drive. Is there a different answer, can I benefit?

I should add, it's for an office refurbished HP Pavilion p6 - 2007 c. Thank you!

I don't think that what happened is necessarily a sign of things to come. It is too early to tell.

If this happens again in the next few days, then that would raise a red flag.

Always save your files on a portable storage device from time to time, because it is not a question of if a hard drive will fail, but a matter of time.

    Hi Cbella, YouTube is generally used with an HTML5 player, who is a player who does not use a plugin video in MP4 format (for example, it does not use the Flash plugin).

    The operating system has been installed and running perfect. Readers for the mobo has been installed and and all is well. I can see everything on my computer, network, disks, programs, Device Manager and etc.

    First update for the system, only the important updates were downloaded and after the reboot, the system will not start. The system to start repairing the system but found no problem and restart again and return to the screen of system repair.

    The operating system has been installed 5 times and I had the same problem after the first update, the system unbootable. I tried to boot from the Windows dvd, but I had the same problem again.

    Step 1

    You can first try to start the computer in safe mode and check if you can boot to the desktop. Access the link below and follow the steps to boot to the desktop. To boot to the desktop in safe mode keep tapping key F8 during restart. Once you see the option to start in safe mode select and press to enter.

    Step 2

    If you are able to boot to the desktop in safe mode, you can access to view the history of update on your computer and search for the error code and the updates that failed to install and post it back.

    To view the update history, follow the steps below:

    A. open the control panel (all items view) and click the Windows Update icon.

    B. click on the link to view update history.

    To view the details of a single Windows Update. Select and right-click on a Windows Update list, and then click details.

    Step 3

    I would say also allows you to perform a system restore in safe mode to see if you can restore the computer to an earlier date when it was working fine.

    Same thing worse. Could not do a sys restore either just before restarting or last night. Chose a date earlier (last week) but then lost the USB drivers and pilots display. Downloaded updated but refuses to let my AMD driver install Windows I have a very unpleasant screen... and I must now stop the installation of this update "critical."

    Would appreciate advice how do my installed display driver or whether anyone else has problems following this update

    I don't think that's the problem. I solved the problem by using an earlier version, while the youngest is not corrected.

    To install an older version I do the following:
    1. open a creative cloud application
    2. in front of 'Find Apps more' I click on "Applications" and change to "show other version."
    3. I have local "Photoshop" and I click on the 'Install' button and chose an older version, in my case, I prefer "CC (2014).
    4. wait for install and now I work normally.
