No streaming video/DVD on external screen or beamer

SP2100 with XP SP1. Movies or DVD are normally played on the screen of the laptop. On an external screen or beamer or part 2 a double screen however, the part of the screen where the video should play remains black. Help, please

Hello

This is a technical limitation of the graphics card that you have on the computer. You can either watch the movie on the external display only or on the pc only, you only power play on both sorry :(

  • Satellite P200-1EE: DVD player HD Toshiba "video output for external device cannot".

    Need help!

My P200-1EE won't play HD DVDs. At startup the HD DVD software with an HD DVD in the drive, the drive displays on the screen, and after a short time returns an error. The message is ' + Toshiba HD DVD Player - impossible to output the video to an external device. Please change your display device by pressing the FN + F5 keys after the end of the application ' +.

Problem is that I do not use any display on the screen of the laptop. Only the screen of the laptop is available when I use FN + F5 suggestion. It does not cure the problem.

Drivers are up to date as far as I can tell.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Hello

I searched this forum for similar issues and I think I have a solution.
It seems that the Realtek audio driver causes this problem.

According to this Toshiba document a new soud driver installation will help you solve this problem of HD - DVD.

    Check it;

    1. were you able to play the same DVD sooner?

    3. do you have a DVD decoder installed on your computer?
    4. you use starter edition of windows 7?
    5. What is the resolution on your computer?
    6. have you installed a codec on your computer?
If you have installed a codec on your computer the I suggest you to uninstall the codec.

Have you had success playing other video DVDs?

Maybe you need a DVD decoder?

(FWIW... it is always preferable, if you create a system restore
point before installing any software or updates)

    Info about DVD decoders:

Also, you could try the free VLC Media Player:

  • No video on computer LCD screen but on external CRT display

I have a dell inspiron 9300 and it has worked well over the last 2.5 years until recently there was no video appears on the screen of the laptop at all.  I plugged a cable between my laptop and a television screen, the video was shown on the TV screen.  I tried to hit the Fn + F8 key but video required to stay on the TV screen.

Is this a failure of hardware or configuration problem?

    What choices do I have?

    Thanks a lot for help.

  • How to capture (record) streaming video online with his partner is on El Capitan?

Someone can advise or recommend including many different programs available that I must use to capture (record) streaming video online with it's associated audio on El Capitan?  I tried MacX DVD Converter Pro, but believe it or not, it does not record the audio aspect of video stream.  They claim there is a work around, but after 3 days of trying various corrections, none seems to work for me.

I tried the Safe Mode Terminal command string: turn off the csrutil. restart, but which did not allow audio capture of MacX DVD Converter Pro driver to install their Audio System driver.

I tried sudo nvram boot-args = "kext-dev = 1 mode" method, but then again, playback of the recorded video was silent, even though I have heard the audio during recording. "

I downloaded SOUNDFLOWER, but again, I have heard audio when the screenshot, but Quicktime playback was silent.

I have hard to believe after that 3 days I am still unable to record what I see and hear at the same time on my screen a video streaming like a Charlie Rose interview with Martin Scorcese discussing Felini.  I don't like what it costs; I care only about the easy, professional and perfect results.  One of the two reasons why I BOUGHT this iMac 27 "with El Capitan was so I COULD record streaming video with audio if I choose so, and after a month, I still can't do and I ran out of the online help after searching dozens of sites to find answers!  So I now turn to the Apple community.  Thank you!

  • External screen goes blank when I close the lid Satellite P100

    Hi all.
I hope someone has an idea as to what is happening here.

Sometimes I like to watch a dvd or use the center of the media on my HD TV. I use Windows Vista to make it.

When I had XP installed, I close the lid of the laptop and watch them to my heart's content. Now with Vista, I need to have the lid open be able to watch on the external display. If I close to you then the external screen is empty, as if I unplugged the laptop.

That makes me free! What worries me is burn-in screen, because the standby screen not turn on as I am watching video.

    Help! Someone! Anyone!

AFAIK in Vista that you can use the same options as under WXp. check please supply option and you will find an option called when I close the lid. As option, choose no action.

I think you should be able to close the lid while watching the movie on screen.

  • Satellite Pro L360-14F - cannot play videos on the external monitor

    Toshiba Satellite Pro L360-14F
Video files as avi, flv, mp4 are played with SM-player etc on the screen of the laptop, but not on the external monitor attached.
A newspaper there is the error message: MPlayer crashed by the bath OF CPU/FPU/RAM usage.

    Which may mean that?

You already go to the external display by using the FN + F5 keys?
    To do this.

In addition, you must go first to the external screen and then you need to start the windows media player or other video player.

I advise to use the VLC Player. It s free fro and plays most of the files

  • Screen MBP sleeps during video playback in full screen

I have a MBP of 2007 running El Capitan (10.11.3) connected to an external monitor using the clamshell. While watching videos fullscreen in Safari (flash or HTML5), the external monitor standby according to the energy saving settings. In Mavericks it would behave normally (i.e. the screen would not go to sleep while watching videos, but would normally sleep when idle).

Setting the parameters of the saver of energy will never leave the screen saver is not an option, because I don't want to stop the screen manually every time (I use it as a TV - pc).

I had the same problem when I updated to 10.11.3 (actually, I don't mine clamshell when I connect to an external display, but had the same problem in that the computer went to sleep as if it has not been used despite a video playing in full screen on the outside).

Here is how I fixed it.   Want to remove "com.apple.PowerManagement.plist" (path: Mac HD > Library > Preferences > SystemConfiguration > com.apple.PowerManagement.plist) then restart.  Worked like a charm.

    I hope this helps.

  • Satellite M30X-129 - no video on the second screen

I have a M30X-129, which for the most part works fine. However, when I have a second monitor attached (for example, an overhead projector) everything is displayed outside a video/film clip, which appears black. This occurs if Windows Media Player or Realplayer is used. All other programs and images are visible on the external monitor or laptop screen.

I installed Windows XP Pro on the orig XP Home version. All drivers were installed and updated as required. I thnk I have a Raedon graphics card.
Any ideas on how to have movies/clips on the second screen?

    Thank you.

    Hello

Most Windows applications and video cards do not support playback of video files on the screens at the same time. You can try to disable the video signal going to the built in LCD screen and display only through the projector.

  • Streaming video problems

Hey, I had a problem with streaming video with my N6 and it seems to happen more frequently.

Ordered on a motorcycle, the carrier is Verizon. I tried a factory reset and wiping/clear the cache, reinstall applications, etc.

Description: After the streaming video for some time (it varies), a line (a few pixels wide) divides the middle of the screen, and it appears a band to one of the edges (like video images moved to the side). These problems go away (for a time) by turning off the screen with the power button. On a few occasions, the division of the screen appears in other applications after you close a video application for example, Netflix. He also throws the stop control keys. It looks like well documented issue with some N6s AT & T with the big band black on half of the screen, but a little different (see photo).
