No video signal from HP Pavilion monitor m7560n

HP Pavilion m7560n, THE graphic card NVIDIA GeForce, monitor HP 2159 m, Windows XP.

Screen went black with the message "no signal". I tried the monitor and cable on another computer, it worked, this isn't a problem with the monitor or the cable. The VGA connector and graphics is integrated in the motherboard, so I can't try another video card. TV-out connectors, isn't the PC so I can't use TV as a monitor. Is there another option, how to continue with the debugging before replacing the motherboard?

Thank you.

Most of these cards in PCIe x 16 v2.0 should work on your computer as long as it requires a 300 watt power supply system power or less. The 2 x 0 series is the oldest, while the 6 x 0 series is the most recent. Cards are plug-and-play... but you need to install a device driver for the card. The HP BIOS should automatically detect the card and disable the integrated graphics card. If you still have problems after the installation of a card, we will have to look for other issues.

    Hello

    Try this procedrue:

Disconnect the PC and open it. Clean all the dust. Carefully, remove and replace all the cables towards the mother board one at a time. Do the same for memory DIMM and the video and the sound of cards if you have a.  You can buy a can of compressed air to blow the dust out of the heatsink from the CPU.  Plug your PC back in and give it a go.

If the above does not help this procedure: power.  Do not skip steps.

Finally, try to clear the CMOS memory.

    * Brief description of the problem monitor? Monitors have been implemented following the instructions on page 25 of the Dell online manual to connect the monitor to function DP multi-flow (MST). DisplayPort cable is connected to V3900 output MiniDisplay port DisplayPort graphics card in the 1st U2414H; second DisplayPort cable is connected to the DisplayPort on 1 U2414H monitor output and MiniDisplayPort in the 2nd monitor U2414H. Dell U2414H drivers have been installed from the CD provided and both recognized by Windows. V3900 graphics card Driver is up to date with the EyeInfinity software. Source of input on both monitors the Mini Display Port value. Display settings on both monitors Display Port 1.2 value activate. Problem 1 - all the time - monitor power buttons are lit, the computer is turned on, then monitors lights don't - they show 'Power save mode' and then turns off. To hit the power button on the computer to shut down Windows. Only way to get these on monitors is unplug cords from the back of each monitor, wait a few minutes, plug in the power cord, start computer and then both monitors will start up and sign of windows to the screen will appear and monitors will work. Normal operations for a full day of work if you do not restart. If you need to restart during the day (like when you get a software update), the same thing happens. Start the computer to restart, but the monitors come back on not and remain dark. There is nothing wrong with the graphics card V3900. He is certified by AMD and DisplayPort.org to work in an environment of STD DisplayPort 1.2. I had previously two 215tws Samsung SyncMasters connected to each output V3900 Grahics card and they work very well in extended mode for years until a SyncMaster 215tw started shaking like crazy. A SyncMaster has been connected to the out display with a dongle and a DVI cable Port. The other SyncMaster was connected to the DVI output on the graphics card. So I decided to buy these two U2414Hs. Technical support Dell after many phone calls and e-mails finally advised me that there is a problem of "compatibility" between my computer and the U2414Hs and recommended that I return the monitors. On the web site of the U2414H AMD has not been certified by AMD to work in a DisplayPort 1.2 STD Set Up. Other former Dell monitors are certified by AMD to work in the Display Port 1.2 Setup. DisplayPort.org lists the U2414H to work with Display Port (it does not say that it will work in a DisplayPort 1.2 Set Up).

Problem 2 - shift perceptible in the entrance of Microsoft Blue Tooth keyboard and mouse and PS2 Keyboard and mouse. All the drivers are up to date. When you type a phrase, it takes a few moments for the text displayed on the screen using a keyboard. Both the mouse connected and the Bluetooth mouse are unresponsive sporadically for a few moments until they finally react. It happens regularly during the day. The monitors provide excellent clarity when you work. The stand is ideal for office property. Before these monitors are returned if no one knows what causes these two problems and does anyone have a solution? Should I stop using the Display Port 1.2 and hang them using HDMI with active dongles? If I have to return these two U2414Hs, I considered the 2 two U2413s. Someone at - it all opinions on the last U2413s from Dell? I have read some real problems with ghosting that I just haven't the time for more. The remanence correction in the models of U2413 sold in 2014? There are very few monitors on the market with Display Port in and out to the back to support DisplayPort 1.2 STD Transport.

    Thanks for any input.

I had to remove my VGA HDMI DV card and now the DP (display port) works very well. Don't need to use a HDMI cable. Display Port 1.1 is reported as the problem in order to remove the card solves this problem.

  • Pavilion p - 7 1287 c: sending digital video and audio signal from p-7 HP 1287 to HD TV

No HDMI output on the back of the computer. Ordered a KENIMBENI Pro VGA HDMI converter, VGA male to male VGA Cable and a cable of Y min stereo to 2 RCA.  Kanex output VGA to convert HDMI is HDMI to the HDMI connector on the back of the HDTV (Viera by Panasonic).  No signal on the TV.  This motherboard or video card takes by taking a digital audio and video signal and send it to the TV.  Obviously with the VGA of the monitor on the PC is turned off.

Previously, I had a cable HDMI to DVI and I had to awkwardly move the image on the monitor of the PC to HDTV, but with no sound.  Should I return the material (Kanex VGA to HDMI converter and associated cables) at B & H so that I can always go back and get a refund.

Look forward to some potential solutions, wish this PC has HDMI output, would probably make this process much easier.  First time on so I hope someone can help.

  • How can I restore signal from my Mac Pro to my Viewsonic monitor, connected by VGA?

I have a Pro Mac OSX version 10.7.5 running. Trendy top is a monitor 24 inch Viewsonic, the only monitor connected. Last week, everything was fine. I stopped him all night and the next morning, when I tried to start, there was no signal from the Mac to the screen.

The screen displays a 'No Signal' message.

I checked the entry on the monitor, and it is correctly set to PC.

The computer starts normally. I can hear him do his thing.

The monitor starts up normally. No flashing or spots.

I tried restart, disconnect the monitor from the computer, just stop and unplug it, then reconnected. I tried to plug the old monitor (using VGA connection) and start again, with the same result.

I tried to recall the NVRAM (found the instructions on this site) and it made no difference.

It would be appropriate to get a HDMI cable to connect the?

It seems to me that if the computer does not recognize the monitor, try another cable wouldn't make any difference, but I'm really an 'end user' at this stage and would appreciate any advice.

  • Monitor video Signal loss

I'm having a problem with my XPS 8500 and hope you guys can help out me.  I would like to know if my problem could be linked to the assumption of the supply of power, or if not, if you have other ideas.  I am currently waiting for Dell to call me after basically insulting me and claiming my cable DVI is not connected correctly.  I have replaced the cable and am still having the same problem:

My 8500 XPS came with the AMD Radeon HD 7870.  I had the computer for a month and have experienced a problem about 7 times now, the latest being this morning.  My monitor (new Dell 24 ") will randomly lose the video signal.  Most of the time it's the morning after the computer remained all night and the monitor in power saving mode, or when I get home from work.  The system won't mode 'sleep' because I have that turned off so that I can remote access to my computer if necessary.  I also manually told the monitor from the DVI source to make sure that the automatic selection of the source is not the issue.

What's weird (Besides he won't), it's that when I move the mouse or hit the keyboard the screen out of power save mode and acts that it will Brig up to my office.  But he's sitting there for a few seconds and then between new power saving mode. Even more strange because the carillon of PC indicating that it recognizes the monitor is connected again.  That tells me that the computer is not fixed because it sounds too when I disconnect and reconnect the cable from the DVI monitor and the monitor power cable.  I'm no expert, but it seems that my computer itself works (not crashed or frozen), the monitor also works, but the computer does not send for some reason any of the video transmission to the monitor.

It does not it whenever it's on and the monitor is in power saving for a long time, but happened about 7 times in the last month and it is very annoying because I have to do a hard reboot to get back on my computer.  He even did once while I was in the Middle using the computer.

I have a feeling that Dell will make me jump through hoops a lot before admitting or sugessting a bad video card.  Am I crazy to think that is the question?  Reading the forum made me think that it is not a question of power because my computer is not freezing or do whatever it is already asspciated with a power supply issue.

    I appreciate any ideas.

UPDATE: Eu new map video for a week or two and have not experienced the problem again.  I hope it's resolved.

    Question:

    Video signal is de-energized.

    Hi all

I use this machine to run Logic Pro X. I tried a few monitors and different cables, but the result is the same.

the video signal sporadically goes out. The only way I can get it is back to turn off the Mini for a hour or stick it in the fridge for 5 minutes. It doesn't seem to be dependent on the temperature, since it happens a lot less in the months more cold however showed the journal to monitor temperature as low as 73 C time and he fell again the thermal signal can therefore not the question.

The fan seems to work and I tried to change the memory to return with noticed no difference. I recently replaced the OCW SSD due to premature failure and spin a new installation of El Capitan on a new drive. I eliminated the monitor and cable as a culprit, so I think that I am dealing with an internal failure. The machine is not under warranty.

I read a lot of posts on mini Mac in thermal shutdown models particularly image, mine has not overheated or goes out, he simply loses its video signal. Fans and ports are clean and free of dust.

    Everyone knows about this problem?

Install a fan speed and temperature app to help you determine if it is really related monitoring temp.

    Hi davidwiddecombe,

A codec is a software to compress or decompress a digital media file, such as a song or a video. Windows Media Player and other programs use codecs to play and create digital media files.

A codec can consist of two components: an encoder and a decoder. The encoder performs the compression function (coding) and the decoder performs the decompression function (decoding). Some codecs include both components and some codecs only one of them.

Use your favorite search engine and browse for such a program which is used to.

I have a slightly new wireless router and the PC is always connected like this, but in the last days he will not pick up any signal from my router or our hot spots of our my touch 4g cell phone.

It will not work so hard cable...

Occasionally, he'll go get a weak signal, but I think there out crapped on me, anyone else having this problem?

Warranty has expired 3 weeks ago! Pissed! I think they do it on purpose.

If the antenna wire is not damaged or not connected, I would consider looking at an ASUS, Linksys, D-Link or Netgear PCIe x 1 or wireless USB adapter to replace the original one. Here is a selection of Newegg.

When I plugged in my hdmi to pc I have followed the news but when I rehooked my moniter I lost the signal from my TV. I have a vizio hd tv.

    Hello

    ·         What operating system is installed on the computer?

Method 1: Follow the steps and check if that helps:

    (a) first of all you need a video cable to make the physical connection. For a better image quality, you must connect to the computer to the TV using standard VGA ports or via DVI to HDMI cable provided your TV supports these ports.

    (b) open the "display settings" in your computer and activate the output to the TV screen. You can reflect the content of your computer on the TV or extend the display as a double screen control.

    (c) pick up your TV remote and switch to "External inputs" in the menu. You need to change the value by default "Video 1" to a different selection which may be "HDMI 1" or "video 2" depending on how you made the connection. "

Important: Make sure you connect the cable to the TV before turning on the computer, because sometimes it may not recognize the external display.

You may also change the resolution of your TV screen using the display settings in your panel of control remains the image may appear distorted.
