  You must remove the upper and lower registry key filters.
  First remove the CD/DVD drive device manager.

  Then go to the registry and remove the filter top and bottom of this key:

  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Class\ {4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}

  After this reboot of the laptop.

• Problems when viewing files in the 'My Documents' window

  When I look at the files and folders in the My Documents window (in mode ' list') there is a wide space between the columns of information - I can barely hold two columns of names of files on my computer screen even if I do the window the maximum width.  It is a new problem - I used to be able to view the columns 3 or 4 names of files before.  My OS is Windows XP. Can you tell me how to reduce the space between the columns of information?  Thank you.

  I've been guilty of reading what I thought I only saw what I saw in fact.

  The only thing I know to which increases the width of the columns in the list view is the size of the names appearing in this column, they are files or folders. Check the lengths of file/folder name by renaming them, there might be some characters non-display, resizing of the window in the vertical direction might help identify the sections where the long name exists (if indeed that is the problem).

• Hard drive is no longer visible to windows 7 ultimate x 64

  Hi all
  I'm a MSDN. I have a number of virtual machines that I work on.

  Last night, I had two running virtual machines and failure at the same time.  They go on my F drive.

  Restarting the PC drive F is not visible to windows. I'm guessing that there is some sort of failure on the drive.

  I was looking around and found advice like going to disk management and rescan etc. No luck so far.

  I tried to switch the machine on in the BIOS, but in the bios ASUS, I do not see the mentioned drives.

  Can someone point me to a good article on how to diagnose the drive suddenly disappear like that with a failure suspected of some sort?

  This must happen a lot. I'm surprised that I wasn't able to find a good article detailed on google.

  I hope it isn't a catastrophic disk failure.

  Please accept my thanks in advance for any help you can be in this case.

  I installed 10.3 on my Q10 without problem, given the mix icon and decided to install (after using the work of passports), so a number of things...

  Found, go to settings > networks and connections > Services connection > USB and drag it to the position USB mass storage Mode on. It will then display as an Ext. hdd in Windows Explorer.

  Window Style antonyms:

  MDI applications display a default parent, called the application window window. All other application windows are document windows or dialog windows.

  Document windows remain as part of the application window. If the user resizes the application window so that it is smaller than a document window, the document window is cropped. An operator can enlarge a document window occupies the whole workspace of the application window.

  Dialog windows are floating, and the operator can move outside the window of the application if they have been defined as mobile. They cannot be minimized, maximized, or resized by the operator.

  I have a new monitor - a Benq BL2711.

  I have set up as my secondary monitor on display in Windows 8.

  I can put Photoshop (CS6) on this screen and maximize the it, but there is a vast space not used in the document window, which is not used. I want to show a lot more of my images that I can currently, but the document window will not only fill all that screen real estate. A large part of it is lost.

  The panels occupy the right space to the bottom of the screen, but the window of the document (or the display area?) uses only 60% of the height of the screen.

  What is a limitation or do I have to configure something? (I have reset the workspace of photography).

  It is really a shot in the water, but it's the space used by the "timeline" Panel when it is open. Try to check in the menu window and close the bottle.

  Other that that, there are always some good old Reset preferences. Make sure you save the custom actions/brushes/presets and so forth first!

  Try resetting preferences

  Press and hold the CTRL, ALT, shift (Windows) / command Shift (MAC) Option in starting up of Photoshop.

  Hidden folder/file settings was the first place, I checked and kept checking each new reboot.

  I have copied below my temporary solution I posted in another forum thread.

  See point 7.  I found a way to make it visible again.

  1. I can see all jpg files created before Win10 update AND all the jpgs created by other programs, other than Photoshops after Win 10 update.

  2 Photoshop cannot see the newly created Photoshop created jpg files in the file picker at all since Upgrade to Win 10.  I've never had a problem of invisibility of file before winning 10 update.  My hidden files were always checked to be visible.  However, Photoshop can open if listed files in a basic text file search in Windows Explorer in the path of the file "recently used".

  3. the files are not visible or clickable at all in Windows Explorer tree or the Photoshop file selector. They become open and visible when listed in a basic text file search in Windows Explorer in the path of the file "recently used".

  4 Microsoft Office applications can't see the new Photoshop created Jpg files in file, only pre Win 10 update pickers jpg created by other applications and versions.

  5. the problem occurs only with Photoshop jpg created after the Win 10 update.

  6. I checked the settings "Show hidden files, folders and files of the operating system", and they remain as they were, which allows all the hidden to visible objects.  I kept the visibility settings files in this way since the early 1990s.

  Temporary fix below *.

  7. I did yet another simple search of the text Windows Explorer, he finds invisible jpg files less all links 'recently used' who were there yesterday (2nd day after I created the files), I checked the location of file properties file and it entered the original file I saved their.  Using a right-click of the mouse on the file to bring up the menu actions and file properties, I was able to copy and then paste the file into another directory.  I jumped on the directories to see if it remains visible and he (Yes). The new copy is now visible to the pickers of file in Photoshop and Microsoft Office applications.

  Document window continues to Flash workflow interruption. Thought it was a bug in CC 2014 but I went back to ID CC and he did it again. It drives me crazy. The border of the window flashes and causes a hesitation in everything you try to do. I can't work this way. Ready to throw the computer!

  I just installed InDesign CC the other day. But at that point, I noticed that does not display the document window. So when I run the program, I can see my desktop (see the screenshot below). And I don't see InDesign panels and toolbars. The same problem occurs with Illustrator CC, but NOT in Photoshop. This is a new feature for InDesign/Illustrator?

  To view the document window, you must open a document or create a new document.

  On mac, you can also activate the frame of the Application that will cover the frame, window > Application frame.
