  • The iPhone model A1662 can work with T-Mobile and Verizon?

I never had an iPhone and am looking to buy the 16 GB iPhone model. Currently my carrier is T-Mobile, but because of problems of coverage in a rural area, I might want to switch to Verizon. I'm in a family plan so have other members to consider.

    (1) the same phone will work with both carriers, if I buy an unlocked model of Apple?

    (2) I will be able to use WiFi calling if I buy the unlocked model of Apple?

    (3) are there other things for me to consider? Of course, I'm a beginner with the iPhone (although use a 3rd gen iPad), so I probably don't need the fancy options for a long time. I could on vacation outside the United States, however, is why call WiFi can be important.

  • Under .dll call of Mobile 6 PDA

    Hello

I wish I could call a .dll in a SW developed on LabVIEW PDA and I have a problem with regard to the opening of This that me is provided by United Nations levels.

FYI, I know that it is possible to make such an action (what we already inside of this application) but I want to know it is the necessary details about building the DLL.

Indeed, should activate parameters specific to the level of the compiler (or other)?

Pour info: the dll that does not work is generated Microsoft Visual C++ 4.0 integrated on an ARMv4 target (the PDA is ARMv5 TE normally backwards compatible)

PS: question subsidiary-online is it possible under LabVIEW PDA call an EXE? (IE like what you can do in windows via the call to the command line).

    Thank you.

Calling external code (.exe or .dll) since a VI LabVIEW PDA is not as simple as for a classic VI.

  • How to generate a call via mobile phone connected to the pc by usb

    Hello

Comment on the call of the UN peut-on generate via mobile phone (nokia6680) connects to the pc by usb from labview?

I have installed "nokia PC suite". is possible perhaps-this one starting from the palette "Connectivity/library and executable" start this app and automatically generate a call to a predefined number? It sounds complicated and ca me don't think so that it works...

Apparently these are the commands that allow a cell phone from a PC of Girardon. Y ' there way to use a hyperterminal type program pay to try their hand and then be able to use the VISA features in labview? Pour the moment, I don't see how start. Ports of HyperTerminal manages the communication with RS232 type but comment Girardon the USB Installer takes it a soft pour mobile phone USB connection behaves as a virtual RS232 port?

I have seen comment importer a dll in labwindows on another project but we must have the description of the dll, the functions name pay to use. In this case, I have all this.

Thanks if qq can help me car the, I'm blocking (I saw that there were messages on this topic but ca don't allowed me to establish a communication with the phone outside the nokia PC suite software).

My but is send an alert by such pour a data acquisition application that runs on a computer laptop not connect a network of the United Nations.

    JF

Finally, it runs. When the telephone connection after installing nokia pc suite and a usb cable, the phone appears like adding a virtual COM and another element: "Nokia 6680 usb modem cable. Select the line corresponding to the additional virtual COM port, in my case, it appears as "COM17. Configuration is easy: choose transmission speed (bps 9800 or else up to 115200bps, apparently the phone can detect the selected speed of the rate), 8 data only bits, no parity, no flow control. Then you can send orders to:

Xxxxxxxxx ATD. followed by the return to call a wagon phone (the phone number is xxxxxxxxx), at the end of the command is required to call (if there is a detected error 'NO CARRIER')

    to send an SMS, send:

    AT + CMFG = 1

    AT + CMGS = "xxxxxxxxx".

then tape the message to send, followed by Ctrl-Z (ASCII code: 0x1A)

If you are interested in this subject, I advice allows you to start the test with hyperterminal or another program to easily implement a serial communication, and then implement in Labview. I guess the AT commands are a little bit different with other phones like Nokia.

Note: to send Ctrl-Z with Labview, right click on the array of strings in the scheme of hexadecimal code, then select Add 1A and re - click to print the normal code...

  • Android, iPhone does not work (calls phone mode only)

I just Android where I got a simple application/widget for calls only mode for the night because I need to

Keep the emergency of grandparents and a few other numbers.

You just put it up, choose the contacts to include, and it was a simple pressure on the widget at bedtime.

They said iPhone isn't a similar option? How is that possible?

I think that you have only Favorites call with no other notifications (can someone clarify?) but I also

of many favorites for this as a viable option for me.

Someone said also you can plug headphones during the night and it must allow that phone calls (can someone clarify?)- but

It's worse than the favorite options because it allows anyone in my contacts list to call.

So is there an app or an easy way to do this?

And if not, how BB and Android figure this out and not iPhone?

We might think of the billions of dollars and great talent could not understand a work around?

There is no app for this, but do not disturb, that's what you're looking for. It does not work exactly as you describe for the other operating system, but you have a little understanding of how it works for favorites. You can set do not disturb, and it will not have any type of notification. Another option is to prevent anything but calls Favorites, while the other would be to block all calls, but turn on repeated appeals, which would then allow a second call to the same person within 3 minutes to come through. If you do not use your Favorites list because it is too large, then you will need to use repeated calls. If it's important for you, you can return to your Favorites list to see if you could reduce the list to conform to what you want at the times Do not bother or because you want to just family, possibly teach them the capability of repeated calls.

Back to Apple would go to http://www.apple.com/feedback and click on the box in this area.

The Proplem is when there is a call on the BlackBarry during this period, he gets the exception wat 'Open tunnel - max timeout' would be normal. To be more precise in the first minute of the call, the Messages are always send but not recived as every time if there is no link (which is not a problem at all) and aster that there an IOException while trying to send and after the reconnection trys repeted circle begins. Also the server termiates the connection with because of a timeout.

After the end of the call, I'd wait for the reconnection work again, but I still get the Massage 'Open tunnel - max timeout' even if I restart my application. But the problems sems to have a character more overall since the browser returns also this massage ang it isn't Programm of Villa which is able to use GPRS after that. This looks like a bug to me, I'm sure that MSohm will get back to you.
so far, I suggest using a phonelistener or a CoverageStatusListener. CoverageInfo and RadioInfo classes also provide useful methods.
In your case I would stop sending data when a call is detected or the dataservice is suspended

  • SMS does not work with T - Mobile CZ and Palm Pre

    Hi, here is my problem:

I bought a Palm Pre from the Germany. Everything works fine, but there is problem with sending messages. I tried to ask in the Czechs, precentral forums or my carrier and no answer has solved this problem. So I ask the heart of the problem, the Palm developers.

There are guides to get or modify certain parameters of the carrier, but without any documentation. I see in \usr\lib\luna\CarrierNetworkSettings.db3 and /var/luna/data/CarrierNetworkSettings.db3 for my carrier this line:

And IMHO it should be the highlighted area in the smscNumber column. I tried to change, but nothing worked.

I tried this phone with my friends by CZ Vodafone and O2 CZ SIM cards and everything worked very well. The problem is only mind combination with T-Mobile.

I also downloaded new ROM of Palm.com/ROM and it has the same values.

And my carrier: there is not much info on the configuration of the parameters of phones, but the number highlighted should be ok.

And of course the error message. There are screenshots:

So guys, what do you think about this? Where is the problem? How to solve it? Can anyone help? Are there any other DB where phone reads the parameters?

Yes. My Palm Pre has been activated with my Czech SIM T-Mobile without problems and App catalog works as well.

Edit: And here's problem at the main post resulution: I ask the new sim card (I had an old since the time of Paegas (10 years ago)) and everything is now ok.

  • Add the page button in PDF format does not work on the mobile device

I created a button in my form that generates a new page. This new page has been defined as a model (Named 'New Page') and hidden (page 2). My button is on page 1 and uses a command script to execute a JavaScript script (on the mouse down) what follows is this script:

    var a = this.getTemplate ('new Page');

    a.Spawn ();

Now, it works fine on my desktop. However, my problem is, I sent this form to myself, so I could fill it out on my phone. All of the s form other functions working perfectly, except the button to generate a page does not work. I am currently using an Android and view the PDF file on the application Acrobat from Adobe.

    Thank you

    Kyle

I'm not aware of any mobile-based PDF Viewer that supports this method. Mobile versions of Adobe Reader supports a very limited subset of what support versions of office.

  • Responsive CSS does not work / media question mobile devices

    Hello

I am so that when a user views the site in a less than 979 pixels wide screen, some CSS is used.

The application of media I use is:

    @media screen and (max-width: 979px) {}

    / * styles go here * /.

    }

who works on my good browser, but not in iPhone/mobile devices (I have not checked in the ipad).

I read somewhere that max-width: 979px means anything 979px or less...

Although clearly a phone iphone would beless 979px, it's max-width is certainly not 979px.

Should what media query I use here instead?

Do I need to have a lot of different queries?

Here is the live Webcam page: http://tinyurl.com/CSS3devicewidth

Thanks for any help, that all the world can offer,

    Katrina

(I read a lot of guides online but became very confused. I hope that there may be a single query that will address all screens less of 979px, whether they are desktop or mobile device... maybe that's not possible)

    Katrina, you have 99.99% correct.

One important thing that you have missed out on adding to your HTML markup is a meta tag that tells the device to load the content to 1.0 (100%) depending on the size of his device.

Add this to your HTML markup (insidesection):

    So, here!

On a sidenote, you can put the CSS @media in a .css file and a link to the CSS file instead of load in line with your HTML file.

    Good luck
