Nod to guide the function in Acrobat.

Fistly I googled the search above,

but all I get is snap to grid.

I know that Photoshop has snap to guides

and I was wondering if Acrobat has the same function

(for alignment of radio boxes) without using the distribution or alignment of the functions.

I see. I'm not aware of a way to change this behavior.

  • Why the DLL function performed by call library node fails when the Vi is reopened?

    Development system

    OS: Windows XP

    LabVIEW: version 10.0

    DLL: Custom

    Compiler: Visual C++ 6.0

Function prototype: __declspec (dllexport) const char * test (void)

We have developed a DLL to use.  Compile the DLL itself.  The DLL includes a function test.  The test function validates the functional capabilities of the DLL.  I followed the examples online, and I used the tool to import shared library in LabVIEW.  The screw created use the call library node.

When I create a VI by calling the function in the DLL test customized by using the call library node the VI runs the test DLL function flawlessly.  I close the VI.  When I re - open the VI and run it, I get an error code of the DLL.  However, if I go on the schema and define the path of the DLL in the library call Configuration node once again the VI then runs the test DLL function perfectly again.

I have set the path of the DLL in the library call Configuration node everytime I open the VI.  The examples that I downloaded from the community don't require this.  What could be the missing DLL?  What Miss me?

    I solved the problem.

I had create the DLL by using the following steps for VC 6.0:

    1. new project

    2. Select the Appwizard (DLL) MFC

    3. Select the regular DLLS using the MFC shared DLLS

4 Yes for source file comments

    5 finishing

The DLL must be on the VI search path.  The easiest way was to have the DLL in the same directory as the VI.

  • Writing bug when you use the function to import .txt (Acrobat Pro DC)

I'm trying to redact large sections of a document using the function import .txt to select phrases or expressions. It works great, except if there is - or '. In this case, Acrobat bad reads the text file, per the screenshot below. If I copy the sentence from the PDF file and add it in the same manual, it seems in good condition. If I paste the Clipboard even in a txt and then import the text, he result is bad reading and so cannot find the phrase in the document.

    Screen Shot 2016-04-17 at 9.42.45 PM.jpg

It seems that the TXT file was done in Word and saved in Unicode format. and used quotation marks. Quotes in general are a big problem as three different characters are used for them and corresponding can be difficult; and 4 hyphen/as of the characters.

The preference is apparently (starting from a quick test) HKU\S-1-5-21-762979615-2031575299-929701000-51250\Software\Adobe\Acrobat\PDFMaker\10.0\Ou tlook\Synchronization\Outlook\Enabled: 0x00000000.

  • Last updated DC Acrobat broke the functionality of properties toolbar

The last DC Acrobat update, that installed on my computer yesterday, July 13, 2016, (Unfortunately my update was set to install automatically) broke the properties toolbar feature.  Specifically regarding the modification of the text in a text box.  If I highlight the text box and bring up the properties, it works - I can change the color of the border of area of text etc.

However, if I double click in the text box and highlight the text itself and try to change properties, the police and the font size fields are gray.  It is if I open the properties toolbar before you enter in the text box.

If the properties toolbar is NOT open and I double click in the text box, the properties toolbar even will not open if I try to open it.

    Hi Andrew, all,.

We have released an update today which solves the problem of the properties toolbar and now you can continue to use it outside of the app commenting as well. Please open Acrobat or Reader DC and visit help > check for updates to ensure that you are on the latest patch.

  • How to enable the function keys beats again after the upgrade of the OS?

How to activate the function of key Beats again after an upgrade of the OS which is Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit, I use HP Mini 210-4000

    Stealth,

The combination of bat function keys is

    FN + b

as stated in your Quick Start Guide

    Chapter 1, Page 2

    The Guide:

Beats Audio is an improved audio profile that offers a deep, controlled all low by maintaining a
Crystal clear sound. Beats Audio is enabled by default.
▲ To enable or disable the Beats Audio, press fn + b.
Select Start > Control Panel > hardware and sound > Beats Audio

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If you are having problems with the audio works as it should, you may have to (re) install the drivers from the website of your laptop.

There are actually two different models in the category of 210-4000 Mini.

Start here to the Support and drivers

    • Select the model entry that corresponds to your laptop.
    • Go to Software and Driver Downloads
    • Select your operating system (Windows 7, 32-bit), and then click "Next".
    • Scroll down
    • The Audio driver is the first category...
    • Download the package, pay attention to where it is saved.

Given that you just upgraded (probably from Vista?), you may need to update some other software too.  Go through the different categories and see if you need / want any of the other packages.  Most of them can be added 'above' of what you already have on the system.  If you must delete something, the program will inform you when you try to install the new version.

    • If you have control of "Admin", we can highlight the package and "double-click" to install, if not right click, select "Run as Administrator" and install.

For Audio driver... After you update / install the driver, reboot your computer.  After that, you should have your software Beats back.  If no joy yet, go back and get the software Quick Launch bar of your website (heading Software Solutions) and install it...

    Good luck!

  • Update of the indicators of the façade is trolling in the test of the functions in the provider DLL

I'm looking to see if someone can explain a behavior to display weird LabVIEW I see when to test some timeout works in a third party DLL. I have a work around in place but I would still like to know why, without the workaround, the information displayed by the indicators on the front panel are not synchronized with what is happening in the execution of the VI, even though I tried all sorts of things to impose the synchronization. Note that to run the VI in a useful way, you need to be able to communicate with a Galil axes via an Ethernet controller, and which, for the most part, limited this discussion to what the experts among you know happen under the hood of LabVIEW in situations like this.

This is what looks like the VI when my work around (false wait added) is active. It's a small state machine that uses the elements of the array "Test Sequence" to tell him what to do in each step of its implementation. Here he plays a first time-out value, sets a new value of timeout, reading again, the timeout by asking a READING of the controller (without having first asked to say anything), followed by restoring the initial time-out and then tests to stop.  The two indicators in the red rectangle are there to show the current status of the execution, and it is this pair of indicators which are not synchronized with the State of the actual program.

When execution completes, it is what we see.

If the false timeout is too short, then the indicators are not synchronized with the State of the program, or in this case, with the other.  Note that the only time wherever the VI display is static enough for me to take a screenshot as it is during the period of "Test Timeout. When the time-out occurs Finally, things be synchronized and the same results are displayed.

Here's the code.  I am also attaching a folder zipped with the code, just because I don't know if the extracts are smart enough to include all the dll referenced by library call nodes.

Here on the left of the loop indicator 'State' and 'Index' terminals can be seen. The 'fake Wait' needed to make the indicators work synchronously appears below in the same area. Before coming with this 'fix' things I've tried, what has not worked, were:

    • addition of the structure of flat sequence seen here with the indicators in the first panel
    • Entrance to the 'value' property nodes using linked to two indicators with their outputs error Garland at the entrance of the error on the function 'G Read' (test timeout).
    • defining indicators for "synchronous display" (apparently this parameter actually only works with the multi-threaded code, which I don't believe it is)
    • setting false property to "postpone updates on the front panel.

Another thing that worked linked a "probe" to any data path entrance side of the conditional structure. I thought that it causes also a few milliseconds of delay as the expectation.

My best guess at what happens is that display updates are "launch and forget" actions that occur on parallel execution paths in the single execution thread and function on obtaining some of the main process to complete time slices. But when the main process is the name of an external library, which, outside the library can't share time with all other processes that can run in the same thread.  All this makes sense?

This is because all these CFLN calls to the dll are set to run in the UI thread (to view the color orange on the top of the node).

If they eat the cycles in the UI thread, they may not leave enough cycles to LabVIEW to make updates to the user interface of the front panel.

What make these 3 part of the dll?  They need to run in the UI thread?  Is there a problem with the standby so that the DLLs are not pounding the UI thread?

  • Call the function in LabView from a DLL, and then access the global variable of DLL

I've created a DLL in LabWindows with a function and structure.  I want to call the function from LabView and then access the overall structure.  I am able to call the function in the DLL with a "call library function node" and has access to the return value, but I can't understand how to access the overall structure.  The structure is declared in the header DLL with __declspec (dllimport) struct parameters file.

Is it possible to access this structure without using the library of network variables?

My guess is that you need two bytes of padding after "in_out" and another to two bytes of padding after "anin."  The reason being that ints are 4 bytes, and most of them C compilers will align on 4-byte boundaries.  The struct will naturally start to such a limit (in fact, in Windows, it will probably start to an 8 byte boundary).  If you then count bytes in your structure, you are 70 byte after "in_out."  70 is not divisible by 4, so you need 2 bytes more to reach the next 4 byte boundary.  You can also you could reorganize your struct so that "anin" follows "in_out" and this is probably the best option if it won't cause you other problems.

Unlike most C compilers, LabVIEW compressed structures as closely as possible, without filling.  I don't know enough about the history of LabVIEW and internal parts to explain the reasons and to do this performance penalty, but, as choice of LabVIEW "endianness", it is probably a remnant of the first versions of LabVIEW that were running on the Mac.

If for some reason you want to force your C struct to match package LabVIEW, you can use the #pragma pack (x) directive, but I wouldn't recommend that here because you can control the C and LabVIEW.

EDIT: in the cases where it was not clear, add padding to your cluster of LabVIEW, insert appropriate size or items at the place desired in the cluster.

  • Variables in the function MathScript ode solver

    Hello

I'm using LabView for awhile and I started using the text tools more. To solve a system of differential equations, there is this very elegant tool to do this in a MathScript node with the ode solve algorithms (for example, "ode_adams"). As the LabView help said, I've defined a function and registered as a ".m" file. I loaded this function in mathscript and solve differential equations.

Both and so good, but my problem is that I can not all variables in the function. I can only put numbers in the function but not variables. Unfortunately I need to define the variables outside the function in the MathScript node.

Does anyone have an idea how to manage the variables in this case?

I have attatched a picture of the function and test VI (LV2014).
