  Go to Safe Mode:

  Shut down your computer > turn it back on and immediately and repeatedly tab key F8 until you see a black and white screen. Use the up/down arrow and selectSafe Mode with command prompt.

  I recently inherited a Mac Pro G5 (?). I don't know precisely what device it is. I entered the serial number on the Apple website and it says that the SN was not recognized for the purposes of support.

  It has been used as a device of company running OS X Server (last known BONE was Lion/Mountain Lion?)

  Initially, only shortened boot that worked was "Single User Mode", and I created a startup El Capitan disc and it let me finally allows to choose the boot device. Once I chose the external hard drive, the mouse is not responding pluse for awhile and then it restarts to the OS X Server login screen. I do not have the original client credentials, or I couldn't find a way to download an older version of OS X. I tell myself that it does not start out because it can't handle El Capitan (obviously).

  I have a PowerPoint presentation in which I put the presenter of "AutoPlay at startup" setting and "Loop continuously" and the "default slide duration' is 20 seconds.  Nothing else about the reading of the presentation has been defined in the configuration of the PowerPoint slide show.  When in the Connect meeting room, I can unsync the sharing module where the presentation, click on the play button, and it starts to play.  But as soon as I resync so that participants can see, it stops playing.

  When you load a presentation in a Connect room, it is assumed (by program) that present you the content, or want to control when it will present. Thus, it does not use the AutoPlay on start option. This option is specifically for delivery on demand. You should be able to leave the sync'd presentation and in the Pod Options menu for the share pod, select the PlayBar show option. Then press play, and it will start playing the presentation for everyone in the room and should loop if this setting is enabled.

  I tried many things

  SMC - Reset

  -Check and restore disk

  -Repair disk permissions - at one point he said there is a mistake and I had to repair disc I fixed it and the problem continues to persist

  -Reinstall OS x into recovery mode - no luck

  Since you are facing problems of opening IE 9 and a few other features in Windows, you can try these steps and see if it helps

  Step 1:

  Check if the problem persists in safe mode with network.

  Start your computer in safe mode

  Step 2:

  If you do not experience the problem in safe mode with networking, you can try to perform a clean boot and see if it helps.

  A clean boot to check if startup item or services to third-party application is causing this issue.

  First do a hard reset.

  Please go through this Hotfix from Microsoft for the error you are getting.

  Please uninstall & update audio driver & BIOS after checking, you have such version specified in the site pilot here on the website of the HP product . Reboot after that. Do the troubleshooting in the Microsoft Fix document.

  When you're done, shut down the laptop.

  Disconnect the power adapter and remove the battery.  Press and hold the Power button for 30 seconds.  Reinsert the battery and plug in the AC adapter.

  Robinet tap away at the key ESC that you start the computer to launch the Start Menu, and then select F10 to open the BIOS menu.  Press F5 to load the default values (sometimes it's F9, but the menu below indicates the correct key), use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and press ENTER.  Press F10 to save the setting and still use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and press on enter.
