Noise level

Hello.

I just ordered a new series of HP Touchsmart 610 Pc and I was wondering if

Anyone know what love him ""Noise level"on the machine was like silent or not, I have"

hope it is quiet.

Thank you

He got several fans and a spinning hard drive, it's certainly not silent.

This is the loudest unit, you'll ever have? Laughing out loud. It is on the quiet side.

  • Why NOT-9233 with IEPE micro report 39dBA as a minimum noise level?

    Hello

I used an ACO Pacific 1/2 "microphone and preamp (7052SYS) with cDAQ IEPE and 9233 IEPE module. The microphone of the COA is very similar to the 46AE G.R.A.S. (50 mV/Pa) but with sensitivity 20 mV/Pa. With this facility in a hemi-anechoic room, the NPA is reported as on 39dBA (using audio and vibration standard "meter" VI). Again, the third laboratory signals Analyzer reports the House about 25dBA. I partially checked installation OR with a 1 kHz, 114dB Sizer. Putting in place OR says about 114.3dBA. We are so on the money there.

Is there a background noise on the 9233 I treat? Any thoughts? Recently, my company has built its own hemi-anechoic and we love the tools NOR. We had hoped to use the newer 9234 with a chassis cDAQ since the 51.2 kech / s is sufficient for our range of 20 to 20 kHz. We already use it cDAQ widely here.

    Thank you

    -JD

    The 9233 plug:

    Integrating the density of noise:
Weighted power = (factor of a power of weighting for bandwidth) * (bandwidth) * (noise level) ^ 2
    Weighted power = (0.53) * (20-20000 Hz) * (400 nV / sqrt (Hz) / 20 mV / Pa) ^ 2
    Weighted power = 4.26u Pa ^ 2 rms
    (Weighted) Leq = 2.06 m Pa rms DB 40.2 (a) ref 20u Pa

Calculation of noise at full scale:
FS = voltage range / sensitivity
    FS = (5 / sqrt (2)) V rms / (20 mV / Pa) = 176.8 Pa rms = 138.9 dB ref 20u Pa
    Noise 138.9 DB ref 20u Pa - 95 dB FS - 2.73 DB(a) = 41.2 DB(a) ref 20u Pa

So the fact that you are reading 39 DB(a) indicates your 9233 noise meets the specifications. There is always a problem that it takes efforts to better reflect the range of the signal on the input of the 9233 range. You can add some signals external conditioning apply pregain (20 dB) to the microphone output before the 9233. You also have some other options material DSA that include the input gain.

  • noise level measurement

    Hello

The attachment is a recording of an audio input with no signal applied. I need to know the level of noise in db. I have the latest labview but do not have the vibration and audio tools kit. According to some of my coligues with other analytical tools that the level is to-30 dB. I'm not sure how to code this in Labview. Help, please.

    Note:

I had to modify the .csv file type to uplad to this site, but it actually is a .wav file.

    Thank you

    Hi PercyH,

You should be able to use the express vi measure spectral to the basic analysis of signal noise levels.  There are also several signal analysis tools that come with the LabVIEW base package in the range of Signal Processing.

    I hope this helps!

    Hello!

Does anyone have information on the level of noise produced by the SRW2008MP?

In addition this switch is quieter when idle or rather the noise level will always be

the same, no matter the temperature of internal components?

    Thank you very much!

  • Keyboard slow and low noise level on a Satellite A110-178

    Hi all

I have acquired A 110-178, which for me has the right specification.

However on the first day, I feel that the use of the keyboard gives me problems. It isn't as I type like a pro, I have the 2 fingers way, but when I type most of the time I really make changes because some of the letters will not appear as they skip the step of what i type.

It should be possible in my view with a laptop like that, just press the keys and have no kind of hit them.

Is there a way via settings or to make some adjustments?

Also, the sound is not good... I put it all on the maximum level, but for example Youtube things have virtually no noise while on my desk I never face ny problems or I had with my previous laptop, also a Toshiba.

I'd be happy to hear your thoughts.

    Hi dutchrob,

regarding your keyboard: looks like you need to contact a local servicepartner, cause I had the same problem with my Tecra and it was a failure of the keyboard. They will exchange the keyboard if it is really defective.
This thing of sound can be perhaps a driver related problem, so why you don t try to reinstall you sounddrivers?

    Have a nice weekend

  • Problem setting up star with noise + levels to the hi res

It's something that I've never met... I tried all sorts of methods of fixing the problem, but nothing helped.

First of all, I see a 24 "x 36", 150 DPI displays. There is a part of the poster where I want to create the illusion of space and stars. Easy enough, just to make a new layer, fill it with black, add a levels adjustment layer, adjust the black and white sliders and voila, stars...

    I took a 12.5% zoom screenshot: http://i234.photobucket.com/albums/e...eenshot6-1.png
It looks exactly how I like my poster to watch.

BUT, when all zooms in further, more noise starts to become visible for some reason any...

    Here are some examples:

    16.7%: http://i234.photobucket.com/albums/e...eenshot9-1.png

    33%: http://i234.photobucket.com/albums/e...enshot10-1.png

    66.7%: http://i234.photobucket.com/albums/e...enshot11-2.png

    and finally, 100%: http://i234.photobucket.com/albums/e...enshot12-1.png

They are all with the same levels, you mind. Everything I do is zoom in a little each time.

As you can see, none of these looks a lot like the interpretation of 12.5%, I linked at the beginning. It is mind-boggling to me. Am I missing something?

Basically, my technique to create the stars deploys a new layer, filling black, add some noise (amount: 110%, Distribution: Gaussian, monochrome: checked), new levels adjustment layer, adjust the black and white sliders... and that's all.

Specification of your computer, just in case:
    MacBook Pro (Intel)
Adobe CS4 Master Collection (Photoshop CS4 specifically in this case.)

Sorry for the long post, it's sort of difficult to describe without being in front of someone. Thanks in advance for any help or advice you may have.

The blur of the image by using a Blur Gaussian after creating noise, but before adjusting levels.

If you preview your image at 100% view while you perform your settings of levels, you will see how, nothing is really happening. It is a glitch preview which lets you think that levels affect the image. If the blur of the image, you should see the levels settings actually affect anything other than the preview.

  • Satellite A100-259: low noise level

I just bought an A100-259. that seems to have the reading levels of low level on all sounds. I turned all maximum devices but the level is still not sufficient on the speakers. The earphones are about right.
    Any ideas?

    Hello

I found the details of the A100 and there should be installed virtual sound application.
I recommend you to check the parameters in this application.
Play around with these settings and try to change it.

In addition you will also find a reltek affect his manager in the control panel.
Here, you can also change the audio settings which are responsible for the sound quality of the speaker.

  • Noise level of the fan prior to P900

I have a suspicion that one of the front fans of my P900 is slightly out of balance and therefore generate a very annoying buzzing, which is then amplified by the whole thing.

Is the fan HDD bay behind the ThinkStation (04 X 2401) logo. When you start the machine the front fan in question generates a bit of noise. Everyone's first reaction was "is the device that was taking off?" :-D But as this happens only during POST, I learned to live with it.

This is not new. It has been like that since I was the machine in November 2014. I assumed that it is normal that he is so strong, particularly during the POST.

Today, I was busy repairing various rattles in the back of the case (the mesh plastic sit very tight against metal and it vibrates when accelerates the rear fan). During this operation, I discovered that between the two front fan, there is a difference of up to 3 - 4 DB during the measurement of noise at 1 "on the front of the case.

I have no hard drives inside the case, only the SSD and graphics card fans were not spinning at the time of the measurement.

Then, before I turn to the local dealer for a new fan, I wanted to just check if it is actually a problem. Would this problem still covered by the standard warranty of 3 years, as the fan is still running?

Looks like you already have a good amount of troubleshooting. My only suggestion to exclude variables would be to swap the two HARD-drive Bay fans and see if the noise follows the fan or location. If it follows the location then this is a function of the program fan controller running this fan faster (generally taken into account devices installed in the lower air channel). But if it follows the fan itself while fan could indeed be bad.

A fan bearing may go wrong, even if it still turns. This is usually what happens with most outages of fan in any case.

If the front fan has indeed failed to the point of making noise then it would have been covered by the warranty. I can't speak for how Lenovo NL covers guarantee to the United States (and those of us participating here only know the U.S. market), but fans should be standard spare parts worldwide.

  • Noise levels dropped and I lost clarity after updates installed recently

latest updates of XP have cause the sound levels on my audio to drop and lack of power

I play a lot of theatre organ music, and after one of the massive mocrosoft updates, the lack of power and clarity.  It's loose!  Before I couls break blisters if I chose to do this now my 240w surround sounds no better than a good pair of desktop speakers!  If everything again and reinstall XP, I am disable automatic updates permanently!  He was playing beautifully until he forced 80 updates on me.  The sound was great before that!  I was not even allowed to choose what updates I tried, as an icon appears on the stop button, telling me he was going to install these updates when I shut down the computer.

My motherboard is a Gigabyte MA790X-UD4P
Processor is an AMD 1090 t BE
Audio is onboard Realtek ALC889A with latest drivers installed
Operating system is Windows XP - Pro 2002, upgraded to SP3

I also tried a dedicated high-end Creative Labs sound card, and the problem is still there!  Please do not recommend I have upgrade to Win7, because I already bought it, and as far as I am concerned, it stinks!  Bling, for the little ones!  a lot of my software will not work on it, and I am not spending thousands of dollars to replace that I just want what I have and everything to work properly.

    Sincerely,
    Russ

    Whoa, there!

Loser sound after a big update happens, unfortunately. My recommendation to you is to let the MS to update your PC then cracks at least safe and warts have disappeared. Before turning off automatic updates if you feel you must.

Afterwards , re - install your audio drivers.

You say you tried a card Creative - is still in the PC? With its drivers? Bad move.

(BTW, Creative are NOT the cards pro audio, whatever they say.) The EMU is the name of their pro cards division. That being said, they write just drivers for their playing cards and "hifi", which are not expensive. )

I think you're the best solution is to stick with the Creative (its better than Realtek) card. Here's what I'd do:

    (1) download the giving drivers and software for your Creative device if you don't already have them.

    (2) uninstall all the drivers/software related to an audio device (Realtek, Creative, Sound Blaster etc.) via Device Manager and the software part of XP.

    (3) re-boot,

    (4) when you hear a beep from your PC, go into the BIOS (you need to read the manual that came to know which key to press). Most of the time repetedly pressing DELETE will get you in there.

    (5) can disable the onboard sound and save and exit.

    (6) starts. XP is it and you want to install the drivers, don't let it.

    (7) when everything has calmed down, install the Creative and the sofware drivers.  Re-starting as a precaution after the installation.

If you don't do the above, you will get a conflict between your card on board and the creative map that can cause symptoms similar to what you describe, and are not easy to diagnose and solve remotely.

W7 is a different way of thinking, is everything. Each to his own. Personally, I stuck with it and am more than satisfied with its functionality. But as I said, everyone has his own ;-)

FYI, there are Vista and XP sp3 compatibility modes in W7 to this software that does not work 'out of the box' in W7. If you want help on knowledge which of your programs will or won't work, re-post and I'll try and help you.

    Hope this helps, good luck,

    Jerry

  • U3014, A03, low noise level, Nov 2013

After receiving insurance through Dell Small Business. the U3014 all new have at least Rev A03, I ordered another to replace a fading 3008WFP.  After you received yesterday, I ran through the installation program and checked everything, including the USB3 and operating an internal decoder 2-channel audio.  I use the standard Dell AX510 sound bars on all my monitors to reproduce audio embedded with HDMI signal sources and nVidia Quadro Display Port K5000 than card outputs.  My other Dell, a new U2713H and an old 3008WFP monitors, work very well with their AX510 sound bar.  However, the same inputs HDMI and Display Port on the U3014 produce a less than 13 dB audio output.

A sound signal to 1/20th of the normal level makes its unusable AX510 with my new monitor U3014 bar.  Since I do HDTV edition, I need to use the U3014 to monitor the video and audio from my reading of BlackMagic Decklink 4 k Ultra HDMI as long as the audio embedded on my nVidia Quadro K5000 video card display Ports.   (BTW: USB3 parts work fine)

Everyone knows a similar problem of audio low on their screens of U3014?

This is an update to the original message of low audio output:

After contacting Dell Small Business Tech Support.  Dell sent me a replacement U3014 monitor via FedEx overnight.  After that I connected to my system and it turned on, I was pleasantly surprised because audio Digital Envoy through the HDMI ports and DP was NORMAL.  In addition, the display of U3014 had no corner visible backlight line, as it is 'normal' for this view.  But the strong "glow" IPS limits how close you work at the screen of the monitor.

However, after about 30 minutes the audio level fed by the Audio Jack Out U3014 for Dell AX510 went way against.  A different sound bar did NOT help.  When I plugged the Audio Out jacks on my U2713H and U3014 monitors to the audio meters of Sony Sound Forge Pro 10 six channels and I saw the same 13 dB drop in the two channels that the first U3014 suffered.

The two U2713H (audio channels 1 & 2) and the U3014 (channels 3 & 4) were fed the same HDMI DirecTV output. The recorded maximum concentrations are at the right end of the Green level bar poster.   These show the difference between the output taken on two audio monitors.  The output of U3014 is 13 DB below the output of U2713H.   When turned on the U3014 was identical to the U2713H!  After 30 minutes the audio output of U3014 level has dropped.

My guess is that something in the digital audio receiver has failed.  And, since the two U3014 monitors are close in the serial numbers, this failure is likely to happen all U3014 in the same factory lot.

Given that most of the users of U3014 is not to monitor the audio digital integrated on the inputs HDMI or DP, there are not too many reports of this problem.  Those who intend to use the U3014 of audio and video surveillance on HDMI or RFP decision taken entry need to check this problem.

  • Main volume changes of levels with noise levels of the music/videos

My main volume change volume everytime I listen to what it is video/music with the volume or the softness of music video and possibly up to 0. It's basically alleviate other sounds on my computer but I never manually changed anything and may not know how to solve this return to normal. Help, please!

    Hi Mtyre4269,

Method 1: Run the fixit available in the link below and check

Diagnose and automatically repair audio playback problems

    http://support.Microsoft.com/mats/NO_SOUND

Method 2: Put the computer to boot and then check if the problem persists

Follow step 1 in the link below,
How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7

If everything works well after a clean boot, you can deduce that some third-party services are at the origin of the problem.

Continue with the remaining steps to pin-point on the third party service.
After find you the program that is causing the problem, you will have to perhaps to update or install a newer version of the program, if you rarely use that you should consider uninstalling the software.

Important: n ' forget not to put the computer to follow normal start-up step 7 in the link.

  • Helmet noise levels don't change or mute. SOLVED

Basically, as the title says, that my rate of helmet cannot change volume in progress, 15, which is annoying. IV run updates, restart and sought solutions which resulted in saying restarts or updated. Someone knows how to fix this? Another point is that I can't even cut my sound headphones or change the balance left and right, all these problems are new and are not the headphones, I tried 4 different helmets and the same things continue to happen.

P.S: Solved the problem re-installed drives his helmet and had to re set the default settings of the device. Not sure if it isn't a permanent solution but it works now.
