noise pop/crack on Inspiron 13 7368

I have a 1 - month old DELL Inspiron 13 7368 with Windows 10. Whenever the computer beeps or starts to play an audio file or video there is a click, then the sound starts without the first second. The click is like unplug an audio cable with a public ADDRESS system.

It seems to me that some software sometimes mutes the sound. This effect is very unpleasant when the computer is connected to a public ADDRESS system that he frightens the people around death.

There is an ad with the same problem at tomshardware forum.

Please help me to solve the problem with this crack sound.

Hello

I suggest to update the BIOS and the audio driver on the system. Please enter your service tag # on the link below, select the operating system, then download BIOS BIOS audio driver and the section audio section on the system and install it.

  • Horrible noise popping up on two rockets

I bought a rocket August 1 and had it for a week and a half of problem-free operation.  Then, out of the blue, I started having these horrible cracking when I listened to music.  Thinking I just had a bad flare, I returned it and exchanged it for a new one.  It's the same thing: I had a week and a half, and then my music would have burst noises inside.  Really inaudible.

Now, I upgraded to the latest firmware before that happened, so it is impossible because of that.  I've seen posts on this forum by saying that it's the fault of the headphones, and I know that they are not the problem.  I use the equalizer to boost the bass, but not by much at all - if the equalizer is the problem (which I doubt), I'll just get a different player (not an iPod or Zune, if).  I shouldn't listen to music in a lower way so that my rocket to work.

Please help me with this; Apart from that, I like the "rocket", and I would not replace it.

' > Are sure you that you insert the headphones plug all the way? Who wouldn't? »

Laughing out loud! Many would not, including myself! When the drive is new, the headphone jack is very tight. A lot of people don't push hard enough, and the plug is not completely down. I had problems with the sound on my rocket until I realized that the card has not been completely down. Sometimes it take a little force to get the plug fully inserted when the drive is new. The plug loosens a little after that the headphone is plugged and unplugged several times.

  • Release of Vista audio POPs/cracks/hesitate

Problem - all the sound emitted by any program (VLC, Winamp, Reason 4.0, Adobe first etc.), through two different external sound cards (an Echo Audiofire2 and a Presonus Firebox), is subject to a mild static as rales crinkly noise about 3-8 seconds, stop playback for about a quarter second, while playing any sound source (a song video dialogue, a strong note of an instrument).

    I tried the following external hardware configurations;

Combustion chamber and maps its Audiofire-1/4 "armoured TRS-amplified studio monitors (KRK Rokit 8) > >

AudioFire-> headphone to stereo l/r RCA receiver Yamaha Ca - 1010-> Yamaha NS-690

    Home / Audiofire-> Audio Technica A900 headphones.

The problem is the same between the settings. I tried to change the amount of samples/time of latency on two sound cards, it seems, to change the frequency of the pop a little, but almost arbitrarily. I don't remember what I was doing when it started to happen, but I don't think it happened right after any change in software/hardware.

The installation worked perfectly, through all configurations listed above, given that I bought the computer a year or two ago. It is Vista 64 bit updated, and I have the latest audio drivers for the two sound cards. I deleted the audio Vista drivers by default because they were useless to me (Realtek HD Audio or something of the sort).

Thanks in advance for the help,

    Jon

  • Noise of cracking computer speakers

I've been using insipiron dell 15R N5110 & now the speakers give a cracking noise every time... Can't hear a thing even in its low... Help, please

Hello. Test by plugging in the headphones. If the sound also comes through the headphones then

    > disconnect the a/c industry and run the laptop on the battery. If the noise disappears, then, probably a bad adapter.

    > try reinstalling the audio driver.

    > See more tips in the faq Audio Choppy/jump .

If the audio from the headphone output is clean the speakers could be failing. Run them tests audio ePSA and if you hear noise during testing then the speakers probably needs to be replaced.

  • Audio cracking & popping up on X 1 (Type: 1294-3QG)

    Hi all

A few weeks ago my ThinkPad Levono X 1 (Type: 1294-3QG) produces boring crunches and snaps during audio playback. These sounds are audible on thez built-in speakers and the headphone jack. It happens that the media player and whatever the volume level. When no music (or other sounds) plays pop/cracks disappear.

Does anyone have an idea what can be done about it?

I should add that my machine is only 2-3 months old and still under warranty. If possible, I would prefer fixing the problem myself rather than send it to repair (I can not really missed).

    Thanks for your suggestions.

Reinstall the audio driver seems to have solved the problem (for now).

  • Record stereo mix Inspiron 7559

I've had my Dell Inspiron 7559 since the eve of Christmas 2015 and I touch screen 4K i7 6700HQ 16 GB of Ram GTX 960 M 4 GB VRAM, 128 GB SSD, 1 TB HARD drive and I want to start with the minor problem on some pixels are blurred and the wrong color, I painted a single line shape free white paint on a black background and inspect the pixels close I saw that some pixels are turning green despite being supposed to appear white.

And sometimes automatically screen adapts its lighting according to the color of the pixel range takes more space, for example to resize a window of (dark) steam will affect on the general atmosphere of the screen by slightly changing the color of the other windows, particularly visible with white windows.

My main complaint is the following: I had a lot of trouble with the audio.

I read that there are static pop noises there on many models, I have that too, then I noticed that I couldn't record while headphones/earphones were plugged into the output in January 2016 Jack with stereo mix, I have not tested if I still have the question now, because another problem came made me avoid a recording on your laptop

When recording with stereo mix, even with improvements by maxx audio dell disabled, only the low frequencies are registered, either with Windows recorder or audacity store and I compared the spectra of the record that I did with stereo mix of the laptop 7559 and registration for the 7559 spectrum showed me only the low frequencies being recorded and my other pc , and he could be heard that only low frequencies had been recording, he gave the audio effect deaf when I read the record.

I tried to uninstall the drivers, I do not remember how, but I managed to get it back for some time and I could save with good results until the problem is back for a reason which I am not aware of.

The speakers saturate when there is low frequencies even at low-medium volume, and sometimes bass you hear about with some more complex pieces of audio.

Video with audio recording with Nvidia shadowplay somehow works perfectly fine, despite the static noise pop and the poor quality of stereo mix audio recording

I'm frustrated by the poor quality of the audio related applications, I had related graphics problems causing bsod drivers nvidia in late December and I had someone at Dell guide me through the possible solutions and I was very pleased by the quality of their support to this question, but now I'm afraid that my sound related questions cannot be resolved due to bad quality with drivers control software or devices.

Again, I had indeed managed to restore the good quality recording with stereo mix but somehow after a while and after turning back on the pc as usual he re presented the problem and my recordings would only produce low frequencies.

I'm waiting for answers, and I hope that I am provided with effective solutions, but above all a quality support.

I think that the best you can hope for is that we will try to help as best we can.

    Snipeinscientist
I read that there are static pop noises there on many models.

Solutions that offered owners are summarized in the FAQ Audio Choppy/jump. There are about 10 of them in the section Inspiron 7559. One owner had replaced "components."

    Snipeinscientist
I tried to uninstall the drivers, I do not remember how, but I managed to get it back for some time and I could save with good results until the problem is back for a reason which I am not aware of.

I could try all the different audio drivers for the i7559 and see if one of them fixes the problem. If we correct it, but the problem returns, one reason for this is that Windows 10 frequently "updates" of the system. [Don't think you mentioned is what operating system on laptop computer].

Before you try the drivers, get rid of all the files of the Realtek driver on the hard drive.

    1. open Device Manager (found in the Control Panel, or type devmgmt.msc in the search box).
    2. expand the section 'Sound, video & game controllers.
    3. right click on "Realtek High Definition" Audio.
    4. click on "Uninstall".
    5. put a check mark in the option to remove the software driver, click ok.
    6. restart the laptop. Because you deleted the Realtek driver files, Windows will install its native audio driver, named "High definition Audio Device".
7 go back to Device Manager and look for "high definition Audio Device". If you see "Realtek High Definition Audio" once again, this means that there is another version of the Realtek driver on your hard drive and Windows found and installed it. So keep uninstall & reboot until Realtek is no longer appears under his... Controllers and "High definition Audio Device" appears in its place.

At this stage, go to the drivers Inspiron 7559 html page and download a driver for your operating system. Realtek audio drivers are available for the following 64-bit operating systems: Win 7, Win 8.1 (WB64A) and Win10 (WT64A). Start with the oldest one for your operating system, the test, then get the next more old ones. If you switch from the former to the most recent you shouldn't have to remove the files from the driver between the facilities.

If none is satisfactory, you can also try one directly from the Realtek site.

    1. go to the Realtek download selection page. http://www.Realtek.com.tw/downloads/
    2. on the page, click on 'High Definition Audio Codecs.
    3. check "I accept", then "next".
    4. (optional) in the column named "Description" find the file named README and download it. Who has the instructions for the installation or update.
    5. in the column named "Description" select your operating system and if it is 32-bit or 64-bit of 2 choices in the list.
    6. in the column named "Download", click one of the server names to download the driver.

    Snipeinscientist
(I also consider ever buy a Dell laptop again)

It's just. I would say that, regardless of the brand or model of computer, test carefully while remaining within the return period and return if unsatisfactory.

  • Satellite A105-S4284: cracking audio and HiFi

    Hello

I have a laptop Toshiba Satellite A105-s4284. When I play the audio files (wma, mp3, wav), the sound sometimes produced a noise of cracking (scraping) and its VERY VERY annoying, people who share this problem know how disturbing this is, especially when you pay 1,100 euros for a processor core duo with 1 GB ram notebook (what you thought it would be perfect for use).

Is it a hardware problem or something wrong with the drivers? This also occurs with the os preinstalled windows xp media center edition, as well as with xp professional and windows vista.

I took it for repair, but the guys just reinstalled dvds and returned it to me, as it was, I guess it was too hard for them to hear the noise.

In any case, I am VERY disappointed and now I want to just fix this problem...
    Help, please!

Your 105 satellite was designed for the American market and you must always install the software from the US site!

  • Popping / crackling sound when the Satellite L650-1PQ is connected via HDMI

    Hi all

I have recently connected my laptop to the TV via HDMI, and I hear his pop/cracking every time the music, video or games is played. I tested the speakers with my MP3 player and the Xbox, and there is no POPs or crackles when I'm with them.

I've updated to the latest drivers from Toshiba, but it has not yet resolved the issue.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Care of my system is as follows:

    Processor: 2.66 GHz Intel Core i5 480M
    RAM: 4 GB DDR3 RAM
OS: 64 - bit Windows 7 Home Premium
Graphics card: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650

    > I have recently connected my laptop to the TV via HDMI, and I hear his pop/cracking every time the music, video or games is played

The crackling is in from the TV speakers. Right?

Can you hear the Crackle even using headphones or speakers for laptop?
If not, then I think that this problem could be related to his driver.

In your case, I would check the settings in the control panel-> sound-> playback-> audio digital-> set up

  • Crackle M4800 Audio when the sound is played (if no sound has been played for a while)

I have a new DELL Precision M4800 running Windows 7.

There is a distinct noise pop crackle that occurs when the sound is played (if no sound has been played for a while.)

If the laptop is audio playback currently it looks good, but if the laptop is quiet for a while and then something like an e-mail notification is available, crack/pop noise happens as the driver/speaker is trying to wake up.

The problem occurs with the laptop connected and detached.

    -Edit

The solution for me was provided by pknb below.

Reference Dell Open Audio in the control panel. Go to advanced, energy management. Disable the option to disable audio devices.

I do not have the Audio from Dell driver installed - and it seems that maybe the default setting is that the speakers put in 'sleep' in the context of a power saving mode. Looking at my description above I even referenced at the time of the issue seemed to be that the speaker was not long in 'waking '. In any case after you change this setting the problem now seems to be resolved.

Reference Dell Open Audio in the control panel. Go to advanced, energy management. Disable the option to disable audio devices.
