non-rechargeable batteries

I like sandisc is that you can use at high altitude. I am looking for a new and they all seem to have rechargeable batteries which is difficult to do a long trip. Are there other options of battery?

For the record, I think that most mp3 players now use a SSD flash memory now so they should be good with shock and high altitude. It was the great thing about my old 256 MB - solid state memory SanDisk mp3 player and he ran on a single AAA battery, so I could just keep a few extras in my pocket or buy them as needed.

Personally, I would recommend that you watch the Sansa Clip + as it has a plug type as well as a standard microSD card slot.  I have a rocket and the only thing I HATE is the port owner.  I can't load it with anything except the OEM cable. the clip + has a normal mini-USB port for most mobile phone chargers should (have not tried well) work with her including phone chargers 'emergency' that work on normal AA batteries.

Something like this should work on the Clip / Clip +:

http://blkbrytech.blogspot.com/2008/09/i-love-little-check-another-posts.html

When you go to the store, look at this thing in the accessory section of mobile phone, probably to Motorola or Blackberry phones (I think both use the same connector miniUSB as Sansa Clip / Clip +)

Alternatively, if you really want the features of the "rocket", find or build yourself a cell phone charger with a USB female port and wear it around the cable of the rocket.  I can confirm the "rocket" will play and charger at the same time, I often recharge with a generic USB wall charger.  You just need the Sansa cable to connect USB - A port of Sansa.

If you only want to mp3 (not video) I seriously would you recommend to go with the Clip +, if I was looking for now I would choose the clip + during the "rocket".  It has a slot for more memory microSD (it's a must for me - I want to keep this player for a long time) and it also has a standard mini-USB plug, so it is really easy to take anywhere.

    Hello Lorant,

Thanks for posting your question on the Microsoft Community forum.

It is generally recommended to use the batteries that are similar to the integrated batteries. However, you can try to use rechargeable batteries, but make sure that the electrical parameters are not much different.

Warning : Risk of explosion if battery is replaced by an incorrect type. Use by replacing only with the right size and type of batteries (alkaline, carbon zinc, or zinc chloride).

  • 1-2 day battery life Keyboard wireless!

Since the update to OS X 10.11.4, the battery on the wireless (former model, not the new Magic Keyboard) keyboard has slumped about 3 to 4 weeks for 1-2 days! I use rechargeable batteries from Apple, and the same set of batteries has not affected the Magic Trackpad (also a former model).

And FYI, I use the keyboard for about 8 to 12 hours.

    Try the non-rechargeable batteries...

Battery life is based on its use. I don't know what it is that the software update would have done to cause the problem.

  • Camera flashes

    Hi guru...

need a suggestion... Is the power of maH battery has something to do with flash response time? battery with which MA is suggested?  Which is also the best battery suggested for use on a full-time basis for a function of 2 h?

Milli-ampere hour is the amount of energy that the dough is capable of storing.  Think of this as the tank of gas on a car.  A car can have only a 10 gallon tank.  Another car might have a 15 gallon tank.  15 gallon means the car can store more 'energy' (as a gas) - but this does not necessarily mean that the gas flow out faster.

It is similarly of the batteries.

My favorite for my Speedlites batteries are Sanyo 'Eneloop' rechargeable batteries.  These are 1900 mAh batteries, but the thing TOUCHES thereon, is that they are "low self-discharge" batteries.  All batteries will be auto-dischrage if they sit unused (just sitting on a shelf... they don't even have to be connected to anything).  Some rechargeable batteries will lose 20% of their power in the first 24 hours after his indictment.  Eneloops have a _very_ slow rate of self-discharge... so slow, in fact, that when you buy the news in a store, you'll discover that they actually charge (they do not require an initial charge like most rechargeable batteries) and they will be more complete.  This means I can treat them as non-rechargeable batteries... If I leave a sit unused flash for a few weeks, that I don't have to worry that I need fee-to top the batteries before you can use it... It'll still be ready to go.

To make a quick flash recycling requires more comprehensive amperage (AMPS are essentially a measure of the rate of flow of energy... Ah is a measure of storage regardless of flow).  Canon makes an external battery for their Speedlite 580EX II flashes and 600EX-RT (not included... it's an accessory) called the "Compact Battery Pack CP - E4.   It contains 8 AA batteries (that the wedges internally only flash 4).  You can place the system in a mode where it combines both internal and external and external batteries or a hence only external batteries).  But given all these batteries significantly improves the speed of flash recycle (as well as the number of flashes you can get.)

If you REALLY need quick recycle time, you can cluster Speedlites.  Watch this video if you want to see how it works: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KaALe0w992E

Note that it uses sync mode high speed with these flashes because it must freeze the action with fast shutter speeds.  Sync high speed, the flash must quickly than scans of gap filling of pulse on the sensor.  The number of pulses required depends on how much faster the shutter speed is set above max flash sync speed.  If, for example, the trigger is set to 1/1000th (5 bodies max flash sync speed x more) then the flash pulse has at least 5 times to get the exposure... which means no single burst of light can spend more than 1/5th of the total capacity of Speedlites.  By the lights of clustering, each single light has to release a tiny amount of capacity stored by impulse, which means that the cluster of them easily has enough power to handle the quick actions via sync high speed shooting in direct sunlight.

The point is... you can do these things fire as fast as you need it to fire - I don't expect many of us will run out and buy six Speedlites plus a commander, but it is good to know HOW to get the system to do IF you need, the system can deliver the performance (but I think I would probably rent the additional Speedlite for filming).

  • SideWinder X 8

This is my third replasement for this mouse sidewinder - X 8. and once again, after 2 weeks of use, its judgment load battery.what a piece of junk.

    Hi Sander334,

Have a. you tried to use the mouse on another computer?

If the charge light turns red or flashing red after several seconds, follow these steps:

    (a) unplug the unit for the connection of load.

    (b) turn the power off.

    (c) remove the batteries from the device.

    (d) wipe the battery with a clean and soft cloth.

    (e) wait 10 seconds and then replace the batteries in the device.

    (f) the power. Then try step 1 again.

If the problem persists, try one of the following additional steps:

    ·         If the device has a power adapter to load, try using a different power outlet.

    ·         If the device recharges via the USB port, try using a different USB port (preferably on the back of the computer).

Note If the device includes rechargeable batteries, try to recharge alkaline or other non-rechargeable batteries in the device will cause the condition of flashing red light. If alkaline batteries are used in the device, the device doesn't have to be reloaded. The flashing red light condition may also occur if the spring that holds the battery in place is loose and she does not hold the battery safely.

    I hope this helps.

  • My touchpad is hole batteries

My touchpad is holing of batteries every week. I use my computer in less than 12 hours per week. This seems odd. Y at - it a sleep track pad option that I don't know?

    http://www.lenashore.com/2012/06/trackpad-battery-life-getting-you-down/

There is no way to 'sleep' your trackpad. But you can simplify your use of battery. (Two to four weeks until the replacement/refill is in the ballpark.)

    1. rely on rechargeable batteries - like those that accompany your trackpad.

    2. invest in a charger AA-, they are relatively cheap and reliable.

    LJS, welcome to the forum.

Well, I don't know for certain that this is normal, but I had the same problem with my Logitech mouse.  I solved the problem by buying rechargeable batteries and a charger.  I only went through two pairs of batteries in 5 years.  The initial outlay is minimal compared to the purchase of new alkaline batteries.

  • Non-responding TV/remote control

My model #KDL - 52EX700 Sony TV does not respond for 4-5 minutes after ignition. My remote is a RM-YD033. Have replaced the batteries in the remote control, but still will not respond. All that is on, when I turn on TV will stay because I am unable to change anything for about 5 minutes. Help!

Hello jrw4par, thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention.

Follow these steps to troubleshoot a remote that no longer works or does not work properly:

    1. make sure the device you're trying to control works.

    • Plug it into an electrical outlet that works, you know.
    • Switch on the device with its own switch (not the button on the remote control).

    2. make sure that the remote control not less than 3 feet and no farther than 10 feet away from the unit.

NOTE: With the help of the remote control too closely or too far could prevent the infrared (IR) beam to reach the device IR sensor.

    3. when using the remote, remember, so that it points directly to the remote unit sensor.

    4. If the remote control has the ability to be set for different functions (TV, comics, DVD, to THE, STB, etc.), ensure that correct operation is selected.

NOTE: See the user manual to determine if the remote control has the ability to be set for different functions and, where appropriate, for instructions on how to configure these functions remotely.

    5. remove all the obstacles that may be in the path between the remote control and the unit. Glass doors or enclosures can affect the signal from the remote control. Try to open the glass doors to see if that makes a difference.

    6. make you sure the device IR sensor is not exposed to the direct rays of the Sun or fluorescent lights or halogen. Bright lights shining directly on the IR sensor can interfere with the reception of signals from the remote control.

    7. check that the remote control sends an IR signal.

8 remove the batteries from the remote control, press each button two times, and then reinstall the batteries.

    9. install alkaline batteries.

    IMPORTANT:

    • Don't use rechargeable batteries.
    • Ensure that the batteries are inserted correctly by matching the polarity of the batteries with the + (PLUS) and - (LESS) the symbols in the battery compartment.

    10. do a power reset for the device or component that the remote is supposed to control.

    NOTES:

    • Most of the components can be reset by unplugging the power cord from the electrical outlet for a minute.
    • Refer to the operating instructions for the component to get specific instructions on how to perform a power reset.
