Mouse Wireless HP MG-0856 likes to eat batteries.

Although I try and pass this mouse off the power when you are not using not seems to eat batteries. Anyone got one of them and it's normal.

LJS, welcome to the forum.

Well, I don't know for certain that this is normal, but I had the same problem with my Logitech mouse.  I solved the problem by buying rechargeable batteries and a charger.  I only went through two pairs of batteries in 5 years.  The initial outlay is minimal compared to the purchase of new alkaline batteries.

  • Microsoft Mobile sculpt mouse eats batteries like crazy

I love this mouse, but recently it has started to eat batteries like crazy. I started to write the dates, and it uses an AA battery per month, while on any other mouse the same battery can last for several months. In fact, I bought MS Wireless Mobile mouse 3500 as well as of one, and the 3500 still working with the same AA battery that comes with it. I bought these as 7 months ago but I lost the receipt, so I guess I have more chance for a warranty claim.

I was about to order than another, but I would like to know if this mouse battery life is supposed to be so short, in this case I'll watch another alternative.

Mobile mouse Sculpt should have autonomy of nine months depending on usage. Material of MS has a good warranty and MS will replace a defective material which is anything in three years...

    2. in Device Manager, expand the mouse & keyboard listed in the list of devices.

  • I would like to know if Microsoft Wireless Desktop 3000 also works with rechargeable batteries

    Hello

I just bought a Wireless Desktop 3000 (keyboard + mouse).

I would like to know if it also works with rechargeable batteries for normal alkaline batteries (batteries recommended) are 1.5 V batteries (NiMH) are only 1, 2V.  The keyboard uses 2 batteries and the batteries in the mouse 2 also.

    Thank you

    Lorant

Original title: Microsoft Wireless Desktop 3000

    Hello Lorant,

Thanks for posting your question on the Microsoft Community forum.

It is generally recommended to use the batteries that are similar to the integrated batteries. However, you can try to use rechargeable batteries, but make sure that the electrical parameters are not much different.

Warning : Risk of explosion if battery is replaced by an incorrect type. Use by replacing only with the right size and type of batteries (alkaline, carbon zinc, or zinc chloride).

For more information, you can consult the following product guide for Microsoft Wireless Desktop 3000: product guide

Hope this information is useful. Please feel free to post any of your Windows problems, we will be happy to help you.

  • My mouse wireless guard saying lost connection.  I thought that it may need a new Bluetooth card.  An idea of the cost if I do it?

My mouse wireless guard saying "lost connection".  It takes time for it to reconnect.  Wireless keyboard is OK.  Apple store said that it may need a new Bluetooth "card."  Any idea the cost if necessary.   I tried a new mouse, with the same results.  Having to use a "wired" mouse now taking a much-needed port on my iMac.

I return to the store and get a better answer. Material, of course, could be the problem. As far as I know, there is no such 'map '.

Reset the PRAM and SMC... can't hurt, might help.

  • my touch pad on my laptop does not move the pointer, but when I have my mouse wireless pluged in it will work I was told I could have disabled the touch pad which I have to do to activate it again?

my touch pad on my laptop does not move the pointer, but when I have my mouse wireless pluged in it will work I was told I could have disabled the touch pad which I have to do to activate it again?

    Hi dove2k,

    Welcome to Microsoft Answers Forums.

You will need to enable the touchpad on the laptop itself.

Find the area of the touch pad, you will find a button to enable or disable the touchpad.

If the step above doesn't, try this step.

Go to control panel > mouse > device settings tab
    Click (or to disable)

    Notes:
On some models, there is a keyboard shortcut to enable or disable the touchpad. For example, ACER, just do Fn + F7.
You can click on Reset device if none of these solutions work.

If you still can't touch pad to work, you will need to contact the manufacturer of the laptop computer for more information.

    Hello

You did changes to the computer before the show?

Method 1: Check the mouse on another computer and see if the clicks.

Buy an inexpensive wired USB mouse for less than $5 and see if it works.  As far as I'm concerned wireless mice are more trouble than they are worth.  YMMV :-)

    Good luck.
