  HI -.

  I am trying to increase my resolution of signal by adjusting the black level and white level to acquire an analog video image on a card PCI-1405.  I can set the white level, but any level other than 0 black gives an error.  It was my understanding of the marketing material of OR that the map of 1405 was programmable gain and offset, so shouldn't a power adjust two settings?

  You cannot change the black level, it is a hardware limitation of the 1405.

  I'm using an iMac with OS X 10.6.8.  A fax sent to me is loaded into a folder open on my desktop.  The fax image is white on black al, though the original was black on white paper.  It prints white on black background.  How to reverse the image to black on white?

  Ok. Well I don't believe that you are able to reverse the colors directly on the printer. Once the image has been saved using this color format, you will need to reverse the image on the computer first, then the corrected file printer.

  You can invert the colors using the preview. Once you open the image in preview if you select "Tools" then "Color Adjust". Here you will be presented with slidered for black and white levels. To "reverse" all colors, you need to do is the slider level black all the way to the right, then drag the white slider completely to the left.

• Layers of white image not having cooperated in trying to trace

  The psd file is a graph for something that's will be printed and vectors are required for printing multi-passages (something about a white layer ghost lower the formerly pixelated work.) I'm new to Illustrator, but I described all of the text and drawn layers while maintaining transparency until something was purely white with success. When tracing images non-white, the only way I could maintain the transparent background of the layer so the vectorized image don't hide other layers in the area was to "ignore the whites."

  When I tried to trace a layer that had little white in it, it's gone (everything looked transparent) or just filled the blank space all (when I deselected the checkbox "ignore whites"). Any ideas?

  White and transparent are the same from a trace of Image in Illustrator. You have to be a different color.

  We are developing a new application of HFM (11.1.2.1) and migration of historical data to the new application with a new instance of FDM. In the new application, examining the various intersections in Smart View shows that drill-through is enabled. We live this way several questions:

  After scouring the forums, it seems that we will need to delete and reload the FDM data to remove this reference extraction of HFM. It would force us re - validate the historical data of 6 years... Is there a method to remove a drill-through directly from the database reference?
  
  2.) smart View indicates that drill-through is available at NON-BASE LEVEL intersections.
  
  For example, when we look at one of our top-level parent entities, the top of the C1 and high PEAK, we see a pink cell extraction based on certain accounts. It is obviously incorrect, it seems that some type of indexing is "stuck" and hence the error.
  
  Our FDM application is currently implemented the same as the production environment:
  Percables region support is enabled
  SSO is disabled
  
  In Smart View of the production environment, there is no available intersections extraction. This is the functionality desired for the development environment.
  
  Any thoughts on what could be going on here?

  Yes, the drilling data is stored in the HFM application database in tables ERPi and ERPI_URL

  If you don't want to just drill holes in HFM data, you could simply truncate the data in these two tables.

  Remember that if this is done, any exercise of data will be erased of the HFM Application.

  This is normal. FDM will load to MEMBERALL in HFM, which will result in the mother's cells with an option ' drill if to FDM ", but the drill will work only in the basics like FDM charge only at the intersections of base level.

  Watch 'Remove a person from the background with masking', but there are other tutorials that will describe the process for you.

  [EDIT]  I should have mentioned that want to save with a transparent background, then after removing the BG, save as a GIFF or PNG.  Note you will need to see the grid located behind the object and non-white, to do this.

  Made from images - adjust - curves (or using a curves layer), choosing the white point eyedropper, then clicking on the beige envelope you does not give an acceptable result?

  If you click with the right button on the Green album and choose CHANGE a new window pane opens on the right side of the screen showing the album and its content...

  At the top there are a menu drop down titled CATAGORY, you can select "None (Top Level)" and then click on the OK button at the bottom of the pane.

  When I did, it took a few minutes to process the change.

  Just loaded PES 11 myself, quite a change, a big curve of learning before (sigh)

• How to set quickly animate image key/white balance

  I have the video of a procedure step by step of a House (a few minutes just to walk through and stealthily in each room).  There is the light of the Sun, incandescent, fluorescent and whatever else.  Looking at a white bathroom, everything appears yellow.  Similar problems with different casts in other areas.

  I have already created an adjustment layer to use the secondary color Correction in the three way color corrector to minimize the blue cast of the rays of the Sun.

  I would now like to move through the video and all few seconds, set a keyframe and adjust the white balance for this area, as quickly as possible.  It seems that there is not a way to animate the (?) white balance eyedropper, that would be the ideal.  All I see now is the sliders under color corrector quick, to the corner of the tint, the Balance magnitude and gain balance, which all can be animated.  Having to deal with all three of those would be a huge pain, I think.

  Any ideas?  Note that it doesn't have to be perfect, just rough.

  Instead of keyframes, make a cut.  Then add crossfades.

  So the solution easy, fast and relatively non destructive has been set to PAL "Broadcast Colors" and reduce the saturation. Perfect, two seconds of work to solve the problem.

  If your broadcast QC problems are simply luma (white).

  Remove the effect of an adjustment layer levels.  Who écrêtera white 100% automatically... .but I use usually the parameter set up from 95 to 98%.

  Of course you can always make your lumas when you rank (clip by clip0.

  I apply the effect levels on an AL even if I do when in the year. (I use a preset)

  You can also set all channels of chroma with the levels effect if they give your grief as well. (Usually red)

  Of course you can get dark with the same effect.

  FWIW - the filter of the BC was crap. I wouldn't touch it.

• Color correction in Pro (remove a color cast)

  One thing I've never understood how, if you can do it at all, is the correction of simple colours in first.  Generally, I have to settle things with a combination of automatic level, self-colour, mix with the original and Image control RGB to get things just for a few UW shots.

  In Photoshop, there is a feature called "remove a color cast" where you simply click a portion of the fixed picture that should be white, then photoshop fixes the color on the whole picture so that the thing you clicked on is white and all the rest is adjusted accordingly.  On many scenes, it is the perfect color correction.

  Is there something in the Pro which is the rough equivalent to remove a color cast in photoshop?  If so, how does one access and use this feature?

  Add the fast color corrector.

  I am looking for help to identify a problem that is either related to Apple Mail or Microsoft Outlook (or both), in which colleagues using Outlook appear to not receive the original message of my response as an attachment HTML emails (see attached photo for reference).

  Mail users are able to view the complete message (my response with the original post below); However, in the last two weeks or so, Outlook users are beginning to be confused (especially when they do not bother to look at the attachment). I had a single tap me on the shoulder to give me some advice of e-mail etiquette.

  I think that this could be linked to the HTML signature I created, you will notice that my signature is also not included in my reply (but is instead included in the HTML attachment).

  I place the signature about six months ago, and everything was fine, so I don't know what is different now.

  Anyone experience something like this and have a potential solution?

  After a reinstall full Windows 7 64 bit on my laptop, the wifi does not work.

  After (and during) start-up, the orange led stills (and non-white as others...)
  Holding the Fn key and F8 doesn't change (or close the led or do anything become white), other keyboard shortcuts works very well (numlock, sounds, brightness, etc.)
  I have download the drivers for wireless LAN from the download page of the toshiba website (the french location, because I'm french).
  Uninstall the driver in w7 64, reboot, run the downloaded file (the driver) and the broadcom network adapter appears in w7 (Yes great!)
  My wlan led orange stills, Fn + F8 key does not change.
  I have uninstall (again), reboot, re install the setup.exe file and received this message: windows cannot find the file...?
  By pressing the Fn button the hotbar falls down (as before), so I'm looking utilities hotkey for 64 bit windows 7, but it exists only on the site for XP.

  What should I do to have the wifi works fine on my brand-new L630?
