I just changed to a bbtorch the 990 and when to transfer my apps I get some that say "not available for this device" like paypal and bbc iplayer. no idea why? need paypal for use with ebay and do not want to lose my use of the internet.

I guess that the torch from which you changed was running OS 6.  Your new phone is running OS 7.  Just like when Windows comes out with a new version for PC, software developers scramble to get their applications compatible with the new version.  7 OS on phones BlackBerry is very different than the OS 6 for developers must update for her, too.  Apparently, some have not as of yet.  The only thing you can do is to write to each individually and inquire about the timetable for the release of their updated versions.

    I'm developing an application, and people need to test the application before releasing the app in App World.

    So I downloaded the files jad and cod and let people install the application OTA.

    Java runs on the Z10, or indeed of any device BB10.  So if you want your application to work on the BB10 device, you are to re - write.

    I have published a new version of my App App store displays message "not available for this device. My test device is in the list of active devices and minimum operating system level is reached. However, I am currently in the country that is not in the list of countries where my app is available. Could that be the reason why I see the error message?

    This is just my position. When I came back to my country, the error message disappered.

    Doesn't seem to be a clear error message for me. Must be something like "Not available for this country", or in fact, it should allow just update me my application.

    I am trying to download the new application TiVo, but appworld says not available for my device or carrier.  It is not compatible with the TiVo application start page: I have a 9630 and I'm with Verizon (on a BES) in the United States.  I was able to download other applications without problem.

    I have updated the application appworld itself, earlier in the day today.

    I rebooted and also tried a battery pull but no joy.

    Is there something I need to do to the idea of referesh appworld in my device + carrier, or is this a problem at the end of wheels?

    Please can someone help me... I've owned my storm for about a month now... So far, everything has been great... Until about two days when I was at the concert by nickelback... The video I shot... Would not play... I got an error that says that this video cannot be played, it is not formatted for this device... Someone please help... I can't get my hands on support. And can not get to the Verizon store at the moment I have a broken ankle at the moment... Ugh.

    Hi.This was a problem acknowledged by RIM. It's a bug that we hope is fixed with the long awaited software upgrade. See the link below for the article. Workaround but no longer works.

    The best thing to do for now is to use the synchronization of media of the office. Transfer your video to your pc and it should play in windows media player or similar. If you want to keep the video on your storm, you can transfer it back and use the option optimize for the read option that must convert to mp4.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones (App) not available for download from Blackberry App World

    I use a Blackberry Bold 9000 (personal use) on Bell Mobility.  The operating system is v5.0.0.681 (1137 Bundle, platform 5.2.0.64) and I'm in v2.0.1.12 App World.

    My App World worked well until I have asked me to set up my Blackberry ID.  Since then, App World is basically useless.  My main questions are:

    1. Whenever I try to connect on App World, I am taken to the additive screen of Blackberry App World membership.  I accept the conditions each time, but nothing is recorded, and I have to go through the same process the next time I log on.
    2. When I try to download updates to existing applications, I get the dreaded "...". not available for download on Blackberry App World. »
    3. When I try to download new applications (IE TSN Mobile), I get the same "... not available for download from Blackberry App World."

    After a very long session with Bell Mobility and RIM Technical Support staff, I was able to solve the problem I was experiencing.

    I initially created my Blackberry ID using my mobile device (9000 "BOLD").  Apparently, the program installation but unfinished and recorded properly and that was the root cause of all problems.  When I logged in Blackberry ID of my laptop, I was able to complete the installation in three steps process.  It was to download a plug-in on the Blackberry site, connect the phone to the laptop and then completing the installation program (including seizure of Paypal information, if you wish) on the laptop.

    After completing this process, I could connect the Blackberry ID on my mobile without having to go through the Blackberry App World membership additive and all my downloads have worked without error.

    IMPORTANT: the completion of recording Blackberry ID process must be carried out using Internet Explorer.  I had actually tried to do this a few days ago, but I've been using Google Chrome.  As a result, the global need App Plug In did not download properly on my laptop and I couldn't finish the rest of the installation procedure.

    I hope this helps other people who have faced this problem.

    I had period Deluxe on my 8330 and when I recently spent the 8530 I get this message "Period Deluxe is not available for download from Blackberry App World." when I tried to reinstall the application. I pulled the battery and it still does not work. I even tried to take the app from my 8330 through the phone on Blackberry Desktop switch option, but it still does not work.

    I have the Blackberry App world, with my new phone, so I can not image what could be the problem.

    The app is for all devices and I have 5.0 on my phone. All my other apps switched very well. I contacted the company that created the application, but they have been a great help because I did not have my proof of purchase by e-mail and have only the email with the code acitivation.

    I have boost mobile are limited things on what I can and cannot remove.

    The company finally gave me a new code of the application after a few emails back. This still does not resolve why Blackberry App world gave me the message saying that it was not available for download yet showed in my world as uninstalled and in their research.

    For months, I was not able to update or download all the apps from Blackberry App World.  I have an id that's not the problem, I restarted my system I don't know how many times now, I tried to download them directly on the Blackberry site and none of them work.  I have several updates to my applications that I can't do so because of the error message that I receive.  I know that there is an update for Blackberry App World but I'm not able to get that either.  I sent 4 emails Blackberry support and received no response.  Can someone help me please?

    I use a Canon 1DX Mk II, with the latest version of the firmware.02 and I can not seem to move away the following message: "Preview not available for this file.  He constantly shows up on my camera when I try to download images from LR CC 2015.

    I'm more and more desperate to find a solution.  Canon has been very helpful and worked with me to ensure that the latest firmware of the camera is correctly installed, but I keep getting this message that I am trying to download RAW images cannot be previewed.

    I've talked to Adobe phone representatives now at least twice and they continue to say that it must be a problem of camera, which I seriously doubt.

    I'm a Mac user with OS X El Capitan, Version 10.11.5 as my system.   I also installed the latest drivers for supported OS camera.

    What version of Lightroom you have? This device requires at least 2015.5.

    The camera you have is compatible with the latest version of Lightroom, which is Lightroom 6/CC.

    Please see the list of the camera supported by Lightroom: supported by Adobe Camera Raw devices

    You can use the DNG Converter, converts images and then import them into DNG in Lightroom.

    I was assured that 6 Lightroom would read my files for the Sony Rx1Rii.

  • Why do I get a "not available for this file overview.

    When you try to upload photos with a key USB cable iPhone 6 in Lightroom 6, I get, "Preview not available for this file" for just about all the images except for a few.  I'm not able to import images... any ideas on why this is happening?  All systems updated.  This only happens when you try to import the iPhone.  Very frustrating.

    A fews weeks ago seemed to solve the problem by checking the "Prevent ipods, iphones and ipads of automatic synchronization" box in the iTunes/device preferences, but now it doesn't seem to work.

    Any thoughts on why this is happening?  Thanks a lot for your help!

    Could you please try and move the images from the phone to a folder on your computer and then try and import the images in LR in this folder.
