Not connected network card

My laptop says he not a network card, I can't connect to internet via wifi or with a cable, he said also that I don't have the ehernet controller network controller PCI Device and SM Bus controller drivers

If you can borrow an internet friends, you can download the drivers, to transfer them to a Flash DRIVE or a CD.  Without network drivers, you cannot connect to the internet.

    IM under Win 7 Pro 64 bit on my laptop, im am Setup on an Exchange to my office network. The laptop has an SD card reader, and since I use CF cards I have a USB card reader also (my old card reader has been pre Win 7, so in desperation, this last weekend, I bought a new Targus card reader that preload drivers and is Win 7 compatible.

    The question is when im not connected to my office network and I put an SD card in the embedded player, or use the USB drive (the old drive did the same thing if it is not a drive issue) the computer laptop reconizes the event by sound in my computer scans the URL bar, and the card will not appear in the my computer window. So im hooked on my network it readings, launches autoplay and wonder what to do (as I have it setup to do).

    I always perform software updates and just checked my Windows is up-to-date.

    Any ideas as to what is happening and how to fix?

    Message: Windows does not detect a network card is installed correctly. If you have a network card, you will need to re - install the driver.

    Could you please tell where I can download the required drivers? Thanks for your help.

    Hello:

    The list of the parts for your model indicates that there is a Broadcom BCM43142 802.11 WIFI wireless network adapter b/g/n 1 x 1 and BluteTooth 4.0 m2 combination.

    These would be the links to the wireless and bluetooth drivers you need for this model of the wlan card.

    Thank you

    After reading your response, I decided to uninstall and reinstall the program. Thought it would be a little easier. I felt that the problenm was that the program had been damaged but hesitate to reinstall it because I downloaded from the internet several years ago and could not find the product key.  I finally found the program cisco and the location of the key and now works. Not as sexy but effective.

    1. Damaged Port Ethernet.
    2. Damaged network card.
    3. Cable damaged.

    According the description, it seems that the cable works fine. This could be a hardware problem. That's why I suggest you consult with a local computer hardware technician just to make sure that the network hardware components is damaged.

I put the primary onboard graphics, but it will not yet properly start with this network adapter. No idea why? Am I missing a setting or a BIOS update?

  • GarageBand looking not connected network drive

    When I take my laptop away from my network home and open Garageband, it takes a long time to open and then gives an error message saying that it cannot find a NAS drive (which is installed in my home network).

    If I hit OK, then I can use Garageband, but if I try to use sharing, or even if I just mouse over the menu item from action, the application gives me the rotation beach ball and finally the message again that it can't find the network drive appears. It is almost impossible to export the song because when I click to dismiss the pop-up message, the drop of share also disappears.

    I don't know why Garageband is looking for the network drive. I tried the sacking of preferences and restart; I even uninstalled Garageband and reinstalled (when I wasn't home).

    Of course, when I'm home and can access the network drive, this happens. But it's very embarrassing when I record somewhere else.

    It's something to do with my user, because if I log in with a different account, the behavior occurs.

    Help?

    GarageBand 10.1.0

    When I take my laptop away from my network home and open Garageband, it takes a long time to open and then gives an error message saying that it cannot find a NAS drive (which is installed in my home network).

    GaregBand seeks always to open the last project that you opened.

    When you are not connected to the NAS server you use at home, try to launch GarageBAnd by double clicking on a project that is on your local drive.

  • vmotion - box connected network card question is uncheck after vmotion

    Hi all

    I have a strange problem in Cluster DRS / rules of VM, we do vmotion

    After doing vmotion, VM addresses don't not ping, in the first time I think it's trunk network was not good.

    Do vmotion on the source host and not work.

    After checking configuration of the virtual machine, I see that "Connects" network adapter box is not checked.

    The box was check before, because the ping response machine before the vmotion.

    My question is very simple you already have this behavior?

    I use the following script to facilitate the operation.

    Thanks for your help

    Ludovic112

    $pViServer = '< servername > '.

    If ($viCon.IsConnected - eq $false - or $viCon.IsConnected - eq $null)
    {
    $ViCred = get-credential
    $viCon = Connect-viServer-Server $pViServer - Credential $viCred

    }

    $vmName = "< vmname >.

    $maVm = get - vm $vmName

    $cluster = get-cluster "< NOMCLUSTER >".
    $Listvmhosts = $cluster | Get-VMHost

    foreach ($vmHost to $Listvmhosts)
    {
    If ($maVm.host.name - eq $$host.name)
    {
    Write-Host "nothing to do" $maVm.host "-" $vmHost.Name
    }
    on the other
    {
    Write-Host 'migrate' $maVm.name 'to' $vmHost.Name
    Move-VM - VM $maVm - Destination $vmHost
    sleep - 60 seconds
    }

    }

    If the connected box gets uncheked after vMotion, looks like the maximum number of ports configured for your vSwitch on your target hosts is exceeded...

  • XPS M1330 can not find network card after reinstalling Windows Vista

    Hi all

    I'm passing my computer to a member of his family and wanted to give them a new installation, so I used the disc of Windows Vista (32-bit SP1) shipped with the laptop and reinstalled Vista on the computer. Everything worked fine until I wanted to connect to the internet, then Windows tells that there are no available networks. When I chose "Why doesn't windows find all networks" he stated that "this computer doesn't have a wireless network installed and configured card". I put in the Dell driver and Utilities CD that shipped with the computer and installed the drivers which seemed related to networking or communications, but the problem persists. I guess it's some sort of driver problem (as the computer used wireless before the reformat (a few hours ago) and so the device itself seems to work.)

    I would greatly appreciate any help to get this race. :)

    Thank you!

    Hi Chris,

    Please share the system model and the operating system installed on your computer?

    If you are facing problems with the wireless, you can follow the steps below to check if the drivers are listed as installed in the Device Manager:

    • Press 'Windows' + 'R' key on keyboard.
    • Type "devmgmt.msc" into the box run without quotes.
    • In the Device Manager window, expand network adapters and verify if your wireless card is on the list.

    If the wireless driver is not present in the system and is displayed as a network controller in the section other devices with a yellow question mark, you can download the drivers from the link: http://dell.to/QjjZDA -> Enter-> the serial number of your system, select the operating system-> expand the category network to download/install wireless drivers

    I hope this helps. Please respond to the findings.

    One solution says you must copy everything listener.ora but that it did not work I I do things

    SID-> PLSExtProc
    Home-> localhost.localdomain

    **********************************************************************

    listener.ora # Network Configuration file: /u01/app/oracle/product/10.2.0/db_1/network/admin/listener.ora
    # Generated by Oracle configuration tools.

    SID_LIST_LISTENER =
    (SID_LIST =
    (SID_DESC =
    (SID_NAME = PLSExtProc)
    (ORACLE_HOME = u01/app/oracle/product/10.2.0/db_1)
    (= Extproc PROGRAM)
    )
    )

    LISTENER =
    (DESCRIPTION_LIST =
    (DESCRIPTION =
    (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = CIP)(KEY = EXTPROC1))
    (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP)(HOST = localhost.localdomain) (PORT = 1521))
    )
    )

    If the two databases and listner use you should be able to connect through sql developer, specifying localhost, 1521 and orcl in connection properties.

    You can configure the listener and the database to run at startup. It is well documented in books and on the web. Try Googling "autostart oracle database linux" and "autostart linux listener."

  • HP Envy 8 5000 Note: can I change HP Envy 8 note 5000 network card?

    Hello

    I finally managed to swap my module WWAN following the exact same procedure you sketched out. While in Europe, I ordered the Huawei ME936 4 G LTE Module NGFF quad-band Edge/GPRS/GSM Penta band and it shipped from China. I bought a gun hot air and followed the procedure described in the link to make the swap with a European carrier myself.2Tested and it worked fine. The bands are similar to those used in Africa, so I hope my return to Cameroon, everything should work just fine.

    Thank you very much.

I made some changes on the internal hardware and might have missed an and I didn't have to open my Tower if it wasn't. It's a big hassle! Help, please!
