Not supported file format: MOV

Hello

I just wanted to start some tutorials to follow, but when I open the project file, I need locate the multimedia file. No problem here.

But when I select the MOV file which is necessary, and press SELECT, I get this message: File Format not supported.

The file Im using is a QuickTime MOV file. However, when I use GSpot to determine the codec, he says it is DVC codec [DV].

IM using Adobe first Pro CS4, with all latest updates.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Note: I am able to read this file, I don't have QuickTime installed.

PS: im using Windows Vista Home Premium 32 bit.

EDIT: I tried to play with GOM Player, but that has not worked. QuickTime cannot be started somehow: S

Reinstall Quicktime.

Original title: cannot get audio from video .3g2 (Windows 7)

I have a number of videos that were recorded on a Motorola phone to format .3g2, when I played against them in windows XP Pro using what was the most recent media player, they played very well and the audio was present.

I've since upgraded to Windows 7 Ultimate and have found that videos will play with media player sound is not output.

    Hi UbinTook,

You found this message from Windows Media Player due to one of the following reasons.

    a. you try to play a file that is not supported by the player.
    b. you are trying to play a file that the player does not support, but the file was compressed by using a codec that is not supported by the player.

    Step 1:

Confirm that you are trying to play a supported file type. The following article lists the types of files (formats) supported by Windows Media Player.

Information on the types of media files that supports Windows Media Player
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/316992

Note: if you have tried to play the file type is included in this table, the file might have been encoded with a codec that is not supported by Windows Media Player. If this is the case, Windows Media Player cannot play the file.

    Step 2:

Download the necessary codec to play the file.

  • Check out pivotTableView! 1 is either missing or does not support this format

I asked with pivot table that is displayed in the form of bars, and once (two views) displayed as Hello.
I used the view selector to let the user select which display he wants to watch.

Suddenly, after that it already works fine, when I changed the selecotr to view the display of bars (by default) at the sight of the pie, I get the following error message:

"Discover pivotTableView! 1 is either missing or does not support this format'

During execution of the method of creating the same request responses, it works fine.
There is no question about data, as bars goes ok.

No one knows the significance of this phenomenon?

Without seeing what you were doing, try this: remove the second point of view completely and rebuild it by reduplicating the first PivotTable, then by changing the display of the graph to reflect the pie chart. Then, change the view selector to enter the newly created view.

  • Cannot link Media "Format not supported files" first Pro CC

I moved my video files in an external HD and I am re-Binder video files from a version previous to first (for some CS5 and CS6 for others). When you try to add a link to these files, it throws an error message: "Unsupported File Format".

I am able to import these same files in my project very well, so they do not work, but for some reason, trying to connect does not work. Any ideas?

Thanks for the suggestions. I was on the line with the Adobe support for 2 hours, of which a large part was them control my computer. The long and the short of their suggestion was that I needed to export the project as a Final Cut XML file and then re - import in first. They got then suddenly without me being able to ask additional questions.

I decided to investigate mine and regrowth autour with her a bit more and found the solution. When browsing to add a link to the file, I was viewing in the thumbnail view - and they are NOT selectable (although it would appear that you could. This must be a bug. Adobe and I missed it). Apparently you need to be in the list, select the file and click Import. When I did this, it worked perfectly every time.

Adobe needs to fix this bug. Does not the miniature display, or allow them to be clickable. But the good news is, there is a way to make it work! I hope this helps someone else!

  • save some documents that I go to the Gallery of windows and then used open: said he did not support this format. Why?

I have Notepad and saved the words for example and then when I try to display, windows Gallery stands up and says not supported with this format.  Why?

    Hi jackiechavez

    1. you save the files as text (.txt) file type?
2 have you tried registering the information in the Microsoft word document?
    3. the problem occurs with any other information saved in Notepad or another Notepad file?

I suggest to save the Notepad document into a txt file and then try to open the file. To work around the problem, you can also try saving the information in Microsoft word document (.doc) format and then check if the document opens correctly.

    I hope this helps.

I downloaded windows 11 needed for my camera

    Hi croeso,.
first thing is to make sure that the file is supported on your Archos.  You cannot move a DVD, it must be converted then. Your Archos supports these file types:

What types of video formats Archos 504/604 supports?

MPEG-4 (ASP@L5 AVI, up to DVD resolution) with plug-ins Optional:

-H.264 up to DVD resolution and AAC sound.

-MPEG-2 on up to 10 Mbps (up to DVD resolution) and AC3 stereo sound.

    -VOB

  • Adobe will not cannot read my USB key, the error message indicates 'not supported file.

Adobe will not read my flash drive

    Hello

    ·        What is the format of the file that is stored on the flash drive? It is a PDF file?

    ·        Adobe is installed on the system?

    ·        You are able to open the flash drive on the system (explore the files in the flash player)?

    ·        Are you able to access other files adobe on your system?

    ·        You are able to access the file on another computer?

    ·        Where did you download the file from?

It could be that the file that is located on the flash drive is corrupt or is incomplete, check if you have another file and try to access it and check if you are able to read or not.

I would you suggest first copy the file on the system, then directly on the file and check if you are able to access the file or not instead of access from the flash drive.

I suggest you to follow the suggestions mentioned in the link given below and let us know if it works or not.

    Hello.

I just bought this SD clip and I can't use it without the background.

    What can I do?

He is said in the cation that he gave with png + alpha but AE assume that it's a background still.

I think it may be time to contact Shutterstock customer service, explain what happened and how to download the appropriate clips.

It's that or you will get very familiar with Rotobrush in AE.
