• HP Color LaserJet Pro M477fdn: M477fdn not taken fully supported on Mac?

  Hello, we have a new HP M477fdn.

  We have a question about printer drivers and utility software, please: why is there not a printer for the series M477 profile?

  It is a great printer, then sitting our old HP 4050dtn, wired Ethernet connection.  Firmware datecode is 20160331.

  We have two computers running Mac OS X 10.9.5 "snipers".

  We have installed the most recent HP printer software update (hpprinterdriver3.1.dmg) downloaded from the apple.com website.

  We have also installed most of the HP (hp-printer-essentials-L - 4_9_0.pkg) downloaded from hp.com.  It is necessary to download this because the program "HP Easy Start" does not, as several other people have reported on this support forum.

  In "System Preferences"-> "Printers and Scanners"-> the only option to implement this printer is "Generic PostScript Printer.  It works, but it seems to have limited functionality.

  In system preferences, we found the profile to configure fax: "HP Color LaserJet MFP M477 Pro. Fax' and that works as expected.

  In system preferences, we expected to see a profile to set up the printer: "HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M477" but that does not exist.  Why not?  What do we lack?

  With Mac OS X 10.9 "Generic PostScript printer" is the only option.

  The M477fdn works with Mac OS X 10.9, and as seen below, you miss a lot with "Generic PostScript Printer."

  We tried another Mac with 10.11.2 "El Capitan", which, at the time of writing, is the latest version of the OS.  Yet once the program 'HP Easy Start' did not work, so we used the same "hp-printer-essentials-L - 4_9_0.pkg ' downloaded from hp.com.

  The only additional functionality that we see to print with Mac OS X 10.11 is a check box "Printing black & white."

  Without this functionlity is not supported yet again, from what I've heard.

  The browser moved to Webkit and Blackberry within a company to create the new browser, so the old one went out of the window.

  You might try to write your own system to queue offline using HTML5 and webworks.

  Windows 8 says that I have not installed driver for my chipset.  When I run the problem solver, he tries to solve by downloading HECI_allOS_2.1.22.1033_PV.  Running HECI_allOS_2.1.22.1033_PV returns the error message "this operating system is not supported" and the installation is abandoned, but I continue to have performance problems.  Any suggestions?  Should which chipset driver I use?

  What is N - OS?

  For the problem of camera raw, every new device has its own raw format, and ACR must be updated to include the latter. Happened yet for the d5500 has been added, so you'll just have to use the Nikon software until Adobe gets the info and releases an updated version of ACR. It is not uncommon to be in your situation, if you buy a camera model that was only a month. You just wait a bit.

  Here's the problem: photos recently taken does not sync on my mac, iPhoto or Photos.

  It started there, for no apparent reason about 2 months. Things were fine until here.

  Here are some details:

  • OS = 10.11.5
  • iPhoto = 9.6.1
  • Pictures = 1.5
  • I don't use the iCloud photo library and have never
  • in iPhoto-> Preferences-> iCloud, I have controls for my photos, the auto import workflow and photo sharing
  • Sometimes, when I open iPhoto this is mysteriously unchecked. A reverification them does not seem to do anything.
  • in the system preferences-> iCloud, I made the same configuration in the section option from the photo section - iCloud checks, sharing photos and my photo stream
  • I tried to uncheck and recheck all these nothing helps.
