After a routine update of Windows, HP officejet does not print, software and drivers check out ok

Installation and mounting and print worked fine for weeks.

Then I downloaded a regular update of windows, and there's no printer now listed.

I try to add a printer, and it does not work.

Control of HP says I have the right driver and the software loaded - I uninstalled and reloaded everything... nothing!

Everyone I have a problem / have a solution?

Hello, I have the Officejet 4630, sorry, I forgot to say, perhaps.

After you uninstall a bunch of updates to security windows and re - install, everything is now fine.

Thank you

Jennifer

Black is not printing, the colors are OK.    Changed the black cartridge for a new a (genuine HP!), no change.   Checked inserted cartridge etc OK.

Tried to open the screen of the wizard to do the alignment, cleans the heads but had the same problem mentioned on another post, the assistant is beyond.

Tried the update of the software 710z, but does not connect via USB.     I know that the cable is OK and printer, Windows gave the found new software message.

Went to the HPPIW. EXE installation method, it is OK, but returned to 710f version.   Not cleaned heads and alignment no impression always on black background.     Tried the diagnosis HPPSdr who told me there is a problem of driver incompatibility.    Deleted the entry of control panel of configuration/printers, uninstalled, rebooted and reinstalled, same problem.

In short, impossible to get 710z to connect via USB.   710f tells me that I have a driver incompatibility.  And does not print the problem original, black.

In my view, that covers, all more than welcome advice, this machine is in a store of cats protection Chrity and we desperately need it works again!

  • Windows xp sp3 system root of the Hal.dll error or not found after auto update of windows system corrupt does not load.

12/07/2011 my system automatically downloaded a system update and rebooted when it restarted, it wouldn't load windows and gave this error message. What should I do? I tried to remove the hard drive and put it on another computer if I could look at the problem but I don't know what to do to fix. My backup information are on another hard drive in the original computer. I use Norton 360 for my backups.

It is extremely unlikely, there is nothing wrong with your file hal.dll despite what says the error message (do not try to replace).

It is extremely likely that XP just cannot find the fine hal.dll where it says to look for.

XP is maybe not able to find the file, it's file system is corrupted (Norton that sometimes), or if your c:\boot.ini has somehow become corrupted and told XP to find files in never never land.

You must first run a chkdsk /r on your distressed HARD drive and if that does not do it, you have to redefine your boot.ini file.

If you have the drive in another machine, you can open the file c:\boot.ini with a text editor and copy/paste the content back here for analysis.

You can also rename your file c:\boot.ini to something like c:\boot.ini.bak (so now you do not).  In a single partition installation, XP is not even a file c:\boot.ini to start.  He'll complain briefly, but always begin (unbelievers - try it).

t can take a long time for chkdsk complete or they seem to be "stuck".  Be patient.  If the HARD drive led blinks always, chkdsk is something.  Keep an eye on the amount of the percentage to be sure that it is still making progress.  It may even seem to go back sometime.

You must run chkdsk/r again until it finds no error to correct.

I'll keep an eye on your Norton since when your charge again, Norton System may corrupt your file system again and you will have to repeat the chkdsk/r to repair (so you can set Norton).

I put the drive in the original system and fix it there with the XP Recovery Console.  After all, it's where he has to work, right?

If you have any bootable XP installation CD authentic where you can start the XP Recovery CD of Console, you can make a bootable CD from the Console of the Recovery XP (no XP media required).

    Hello

I would suggest trying the following methods and check if it helps.

    Method 1:

Try the steps in the following Microsoft article and check if it helps.

Windows Vista or Windows 7 unbootable, and the Startup Repair tool does not resolve the problem:

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/934540

    Method 2:
You can refer to the link below and check the drive for errors:
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/check-your-hard-disk-for-errors

Warning: when running chkdsk on the drive hard if bad sectors are found on the disk hard when chkdsk attempts to repair this area if all available on which data may be lost.

If the methods mentioned above do not solve the problem, then it would be best to contact the manufacturer of the computer.

For more information, see the following Microsoft article and check if that helps.

  • After the updates of Windows 7 computer does not start

I received a notice from the system Windows 7 updates have been downloaded and available for installation. I selected the installation of updates. After the updates when installed I was in charge to restart. The computer will not start at the top. It tries but stops at a blue screen with a cursor. I tried to boot into "safe mode" and get the same. I booted from my original Windows 7 disc and I went back to my restore point before the update. It appeared to restore successfully but I still get a blue screen.
What is my next course of action? I certainly DON'T want to format the drive and start again.

The only thing I can say is that I know that you will not like to hear.

It is to re - install Windows 7 (do not enter the product key and uncheck the 'Activation').

Then immediately turn off automatic updates.

Then, go to the Microsoft Update site and only install one update at a time (make a note of the number KBXXXXXX), restart and check that you do not get the blue screen. Then download the next update and repeat the process until you either find to have installed the offending update or updates without any problem. If all goes well and the problem did not repeat, then you can activate Windows.

If you find yourself always with the blue screen after a given Update call Microsoft and tell them. If they won't listen, then create a new post on this forum, making reference to the question of the blue screen AND the number associated with the update. Also post the number here if I can do some research on the problem.

  • OfficeJet J4680: Officejet J4680 offline in the middle of Windows 10 nightmare & does not print

I am running Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit, and I am logged on as administrator. I am still immersed in an effort to remove Windows 7 after only 10 Windows, but not download or install a week ago. Apparently you updates of Windows is the culprit, and I restored it to what I hoped, was that before this poison pill, but I'm still real messed up. I'm still trying to determine what update caused the damage and uninstall.

My Officejet J4680 printer hooked up on a print job and would not remove the work hung, so I unplugged and restarted the printer and restarted the computer. This printer has been disconnected, and I couldn't get it online.

Softwear by printing HP and Dr. 4.7 update installed HP Officejet full feature software scan and driver 14.0.301.0 Got message "HP Support Solutions framework installed successfully. However, there was a problem to download/install HP Support Assistant. He will be tried again later. "Try later on its own or do I have to re - run?

The network connection seems OK, (active port and driver, both seemed to be correct) and I tried to reinstall printer with "wired (Ethernet) or wireless network. Reinstalled successfully, the printer is shared, printed the test page, Logo Windows and "Windows Printer Test Page" printed, rest of the page is empty.

All ideas, need more information, or should I just go ahead and try to uninstall the software and try again? Don't know how much of the nightmare of Windows 10 contributes to this. Hope someone has some ideas, that my brain is fried now!

    Hey @vh08-2015,.

Thanks for getting back to me with all this detailed information!

It shows your HP Officejet to use a "universal print driver" in your screenshots. In addition, because copies of your printer show installed as 'HPFCEF6D' it indicates that the universal print driver or the Windows driver is used to provide basic printing capability only. It does not resemble your HP Officejet Full Feature print and scan driver is actually installed at all at this stage.

    1. you can permanently delete all the copies of your printer showing installed at this time without worry, as we will reinstall your printer with the appropriate printer driver.

    2. once the printer has been removed from devices and printers (and the Device Manager if it allows) then proceed to step 4 to delete the files Temp.

3 once the Temp files deleted using download full feature software and driver I've provided previously. When clear us Temp files it erases the download files downloaded and extracted to the installer so by deleting Temp files under step 4 , you will have a clean slate to work with the new download and install.

    4. you should be safe with just after the uninstallation steps I provided earlier rather then by running the brosseuse that you downloaded. Because the package full feature software and driver shows not currently installed and used by your printer probable scrubber won't do much.

Good luck with reinstall it! I would like to know if you are having problems or have further questions.

It seems that Satellite C75-A-12D PSCE2E 04804UGR was already pre-installed with the 64-bit Windows 8.1 System.

I would recommend you to get the system to point in time early (before the MS updates was installed). In case this isn't possible, use the Toshiba HDD retrieve and set the operating system to factory settings.

Then make sure that the webcam, but also two USB ports.
In case everything would work properly, perform the updates of the system of Ms.

Windows Mail uses the for Internet Explorer print engine.  Try to set the margins and other in IE and then see if that solves the problem of WinMail.  Also check to be sure that IE of printing correctly and make sure you have the latest updates.  If this does not help, try compacting and repairing the database (see www.oehelp.com/WMUtil/) and you can also try to restart.

  • How can I make Windows 7 Firewall does not mark VMNet1 and VMNet8 as public

I want to use the DLNA (Digital Living Network Alliance) media streaming on my home network and VPN connections.  I need these features in my Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit guests and clients Ubuntu.  Windows 7 firewall cannot determine enough about VMware network adapters, the labels 'unidentified' and public brand!  Perhaps it is because I am visually impaired and use screen readers, but I'm not able to define these connections as private or disable the firewall for these connections.  If I disable these adaptors or uninstall Workstation, these features work perfectly.  Of course, this will not allow these characteristics never to work in a guest and is not a viable solution for the Windows host either.  Does anyone have a solution to know how to enable VMware networks bypass bad decisions of Microsoft network design?

can someone help me? I downloaded windows 10 & now my printer prints a test page but if I want to print

something else he spit only paper won 't print '.

Welcome to the HP community @15matula,.

I read your post about problems printing since the upgrade to Windows 10 as print black pages. However, the test pages print successfully, which shows us that the printer itself is fine. Maybe, it could be a driver problem.

I recommend that you try to run the print and Scan Doctor to start. This diagnostic tool will allow to search conflict pilot other areas where there could be a problem of printer software. Try to print from Notepad again later to see if the prints will work.

If printing is empty, run the Installation Wizard for Windows HP printer to install the correct drivers and software for Windows 10.

Let me know what happens please! I hope this helps.

    Hello

You can perform all tasks, exactly as with scanning HP, HP Easy Scan is a new version of and provide the same functionality.

By changing the type of automatic to any other option you can then control any setting such as Orientation, culture in. etc...

Just installed new cartridges of magenta and cian in my Officejet 6500 a.  Ink levels show as complete but no cartridge is printed.

You still have the old cartridges?

If Yes, try to install and see if the same issue exists. If they still have enough ink to be seen on the page, so it may be a problem with the print head.

You can try the troubleshooting of this article steps to clean the print head and it can solve the problem:

You have the 64 bit version of Windows 7?  This thread suggests printing from Vista 64 bit (and WIn 7 would be similar) is a problem in Quicken 2008 and 2009.  The thread suggests there is a solution, but the link requires registration for the forum of Quicken and who did not work for me this afternoon.
