NVIDIA fx570m
I don't know if things are connected, but since I moved to FF8.0, the driver for the nVidia fx570m rel 8.17.12.9036 often hangs and restart. The problem of the OS signature
Problem event name: LiveKernelEvent
OS version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.256.1
Locale ID: 4108
Any clue?
Best regards
Mozilla firefox has always been my favorite browser for the past 5 years, but after years of a very stable product, nothing that this year they have published major version releases until I was forced to stop using it. We started the year with version 3.x, then when version 4 was released, it forced all publishers of Add-ons and extensions to reproduce their work because each new major version makes previous incompatible extensions. Then a few weeks the version 5 is released, then version 6, version 7 and version 8... So, I suggest if this new version crashes your otherwise stable nVidia drivers, you return to a more stable version of firefox. Or maybe watch the Google Chrome browser.

Last updated: El Capitan made Nvidia drivers not compatible
I have the 346.03.15f02 latest drivers Nvidia Web installed and everything was going along great last El Capitan 10.11.6 running.
Last updated 09/01/2016 security has been applied with success and after seeing a few graphical anomalies during the boot sequence made me know something was wrong, I saw a message saying that OS X uses OS X default drivers.
I went into the preferences of the Manager of Nvidia drivers and Nvidia is now incompatible.
Is it possible to do this backward? I just created this model, so I did not set up, still time Machine...
Sorry, but do not treat us non-Apple drivers. Ask Nvidia or look for a pilot updated on their website. OS X contains all the relevant drivers for all GPU compatible, Apple supports.

Updating NVIDIA, I received a message that my browser (Firefox) was corrupt and that I had to do my default browser Internet Explorer with Google as a search engine. I had many major problems with software advertising, viruses etc since I updated FF 2 days. Firefox was hacked? I reported these problems and give all the details in the last days, you can find them if check you email from this account (Stephenwolf) or +. +++ @hotmail.com. Go now will contact again later today.
public email Edition and robots to spammers. You should get an email when there are answers.
I hope that your update was not one of those sites that run misleading ads on the search engines for packages of shit... but it sounds really like your Firefox is not clean yet. Here's my method to track down and clean the bad Add - ons and other hijackers. I know it seems long, but it's not so bad.
(1) open the Control Panel, uninstall a program. After the loading of the list, click on the column heading "installed on" to group infections, I mean additions by date. This can help the undisclosed items bundle smoker who snuck out with some software, you have agreed to install. Beware of everything that you don't recognize / remember, since malware often uses sounding names important or innocent to discourage you remove. Out as much garbage as possible here.
(2) open Firefox page modules using either:
- CTRL + SHIFT + a
- "3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Add-ons
- in the Windows "Run" dialog box, type or paste
firefox.exe "about:addons"
In the left column, click on Plugins. Set essential and unrecognized plugins 'never enable '.
In the left column, click Extensions. Then, in case of doubt, disable (or delete, if possible) not recognized and unwanted extensions. Remember that all extensions are optional, none come with Firefox.
Often, a link will appear above at least an extension disabled to restart Firefox. You can complete your work on the tab and click one of the links in the last step.
Any improvement?
(3) you can search the rest of problems with scanning/cleaning tools listed in our technical support article: Troubleshooting Firefox problems caused by malware. These scanners on request are free and take a long time to run. If they end quickly, especially if they require the payment you have a serious infection. I suggest the specialty forums listed in the article in this case.
Success?
Then we can work on the restoration of your normal settings.

Well plant? "If the opening of a thunderbird menu item and close, you get a"not responding"" WARNING and the only thing to do is to close the program. Windows 7 can't find a solution.
This is just a warning.
It took me a long time until I discovered that it is 3D. (reinstall a virusscanner, a point of restoring 3 times and a full system image)
I realize there are not many people using nvidia 3d. So I don't expect any change by programmers.
O, the first time I also had to restart windows after 3D ' "" No idea why it was that the first time.
I already pulled the 3d module (what the hell he was doing there?) but that did not help.Hardware acceleration has been such a problem that the 38 coming version has a user interface in the advanced options to enable the use of hardware acceleration on and off voltage.
Until then, it is the same job https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1012145

Update NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT for MacPro
Good afternoon!
I'm looking to upgrade my video card. Right now I have:
Mac Pro
El Capitan 10.11.5 OSX
2 x 2.8 GHz Quad - Core Intel Xeon
32 GB 667 MHz DDR2 FB-DIMM
ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT 256 MB
Becomes the NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT for Mac a better choice?
Based on the linked web page below, in my view, the 8800gt would be a decent upgrade.

How can I know what NVidia drivers are in el Capitan?
I'm trying to find the best combination of price and capacity for a video/graphics card to go in a Mac Pro 5.1 running el Capitan. NVidia seems to be the best choice for my type of work, but how do I know if the drivers from NVidia are integrated to the el Cap? I know that there is a possibility of losing the bootscreen, but what video advice may work in a Mac Pro on el Capitan?
You can download Nvidia drivers:
Presence or absence of a splash screen depends on the firmware on the map because during startup, no drivers are loaded. The start screen depends on the firmware on the card. A card flashed to a Mac has a bootscreen

Hello
Apparently Apple no longer supports the NVIDIA GeForce GT 330 M 256 MB and did not update the driver in the operating system to account for its recent update Linux (below)? What is a macbook pro user to do? I know my MBPro is now 5 years - but with an i5 and 8 GB of RAM I think I shouldn't need to take immediately for new?Running any video seems to disrupt communication between my Vizio E240AR and MBPro - El Capitan OS (with NVIDIA GeForce GT 330 M 256 MB). Power cycling the monitor and then force the MBP via a modification of the resolutions seems to temporarily improve the issue - until I have run video or insist on graphics card memory.Model name: MacBook Pro

The problem I encounter is that I disabled the 'NVIDIA Stereoscopic 3D Driver Service"my msconfig configuration. After a reboot when I started Firefox there is a huge delay (2-3 seconds) showed a white screen (which indicates a wait for a timeout).
Now, before pointing at NVIDIA (which I also finger pointing here), I want to clarify, Yes, there's a plugin installed in Firefox (NVIDIA 3D VISION), but it has been set (disabled - never activate). So I wonder why would a disabled plugin that is configured to start never attempt to communicate and causing a such time-out at the start, it makes little sense to me.
Hi TaohRihze, I don't know, but this also occurs when you have disabled hardware acceleration? And who is an extension required for your graphics card?
Instructions below:
Try disabling graphics hardware acceleration. As this feature has been added to Firefox, it has gradually improved, but there are still some problems. You will have to perhaps restart Firefox for it to take effect, so save any work first (e.g. you compose mail, documents online that you are editing, etc.).
Then perform the following steps:
- Open the Firefox Options (Preferences on Mac or Linux) as follows:
- In Firefox 29,0 and above, click on the menu button
then select Options Preferences on Mac or Linux, or Windows.
- In 28.0 Firefox and earlier versions, click on the Firefox orange upper-left button, then select the 'Options' button or, if there is no button up Firefox, go to tools > Options.
- In Firefox 29,0 and above, click on the menu button
- In the window of Firefox Options (or preferences), click on the Advanced tab, and then select general.
- You will find in the list of parameters, the checkbox use hardware acceleration when available . Clear this check box.
- Now restart Firefox and see if the problems persist.
In addition, please check the updates for your graphics driver by following the steps in the following knowledge base articles:

Why Firefox 27.0.1 is so slow when I use the NVidia drivers?
Windows 8.1 using 64-bit and the last drivers Nvidia (NVIDIA Quadro FX 380). Firefox, it takes about 6 seconds to start. When I remove the nvidia drivers, Firefox starts quickly again.
You have enabled drivers NVIDIA and acceleration hardware tour?
You will have to perhaps restart Firefox for it to take effect, so save any work first (e.g. you compose mail, documents online that you are editing, etc.).

NVIDIA video card do not have FireFox, other browsers are ok.
I went from an ATI video card Nvidia GeForce GT620 card yesterday and now when I use Firefox, when I scroll or when the browser load or 'think', the speakers make a cracking noise when music plays. If I pause Windows Media Player or the Zune software and scroll I don't hear any sound but as soon as the music plays and then scroll, its all crackle-y.
The problem does not occur in Chrome or IE 11, only firefox I'm running Windows 7 32 bit.
I just discovered that scroll in Outlook also makes noise if its not just Mozilla FireFox.

Firefox hangs with NVidia 331.20 (Linux 64-bit)
As the title suggests, Firefox crashes immediately from the start when you use the latest stable drivers NVidia (331.20). The latest stable Firefox driver works with is 319.60. This problem affects only Firefox. All other HW accelerated programs that I've tried work. Anyone have any ideas on a solution?

There is a bug in the driver nVidia since R325.08 that affects GLX pixmaps. The simplest solution is to use the R319.xx drivers (319.72 is the last). Another solution is to recompile Firefox using the specific patch to nvidia discussed here:

NVIDIA 7300 GT does not... XServe 2.1 video card?
Hey gang...
I have a 2008 XServe, quad-core 2.8. The version OS Client 10.6.8 everything works well... to a point...
It has a dedicated Radeon x 1300 video installed, mounted directly on the motherboard. This card works very well.
I am trying to install a 2nd card in one of the PCI - X slots and 2 I've tried so far appear in the news "about this Mac", usually a "generic" name, not the specific brand/model that I expect to see, and neither came out a signal.
First question would be why they don't work? One is a PNY Nvidia GeForce 7300GT, which I had read here was supposed to be compatible. The other was a 631-0064-Apple Nvidia GeForce 6600LE that came out a PowerMac G5.
Second question... because these cards would be incompatible, for some reason, should not a PCI - X based Radeon x 1300 work? Or is there a certain number of particular firmware that makes these cards compatible with the XServe? Can all 1300 x I flashed to make it compatible?
Extension that thought can be Nvidia cards that I already flashed to make them compatible?
All I want is (... this clock... but that's all I want...) a 2nd monitor because I am wanting to use this XServe as a basis for my constantly changing/morphing recording studio. (don't worry about the noise, the XServe will be in another room of the microphones)
Any thoughts?
Chip Tredo
The new operating system can be problems with older cards, you can try using the drivers from Nvidia web and maybe a new card from Nvidia, you should not flash anything until you can install the appropriate drivers
