  There is something called Oracle BIC2Go... that is a pre-packaged image virtual machine you can get either from your Oracle representative or purchase... It has all the services for financial analytics with data type "demo". Otherwise, you may have to do the complete installation/configuration of BI applications. Try to run it against the vision of Oracle EBS or a 'Demo' of PeopleSoft Db... etc... but these are small DBs and not really will give you the necessary data for most of the dashboard OOTB reports.

  -Informatica and DAC (for the demo or the actual installation) or can we use our existing warehouse and ETL tool?
  BI applications to DAC and Informatica (although a version of applications used BI ODI). You can't just plug in another tool. I am told Oracle can go to ODI for future versions, but for now you need DAC and LOWER.

  -Oracle financial analytics is compatible with OBIEE 11 g?

  It is available for version 7963 STANDARD (the latest version).

  In my project, we plan to implement OBIA financial analytics as part of the initial discovery, and my manager asked me to collect information on the table of available dashboard, dashboard Pages, reports and their description.
  
  I managed to get information about dashboards and its pages, but information on the reports and their description are not available on a site or a blog.
  
  Can someone help me please on this; If the screenshot of the report is available, it will be even more useful.

  OLIVIER 11 g is a platform. The financial analytics, you watch OBIA (Oracle Business Intelligence Applications). Later in the stable is 7.9.6.3. OLIVIER is hosted on the platform of the OBI.

• In the mapping of an interface using ODI procedure

  Don't forget the basic principle of procedure and function.

  Now coming to your question, first of all to a large no second thing its an impractical and immature question to ask someone to use the ODI procedure in the mappings of an interface for complex operations on the fields. (Or maybe issue was something and you wrote something. Too bad)

  The main reason for the ODI process must allow group of actions that do not fit within the Interface and considered that when something can be achieved with the interface. She's. I always encourage to turn against the interviewer in such circumstances.

  What should have been the question is if we can use the DB procedure in the interface mapping. Answer is that it depends. I can use the phases of analysis to write some java-based codes to call a db procedure. But this isn't for my fields from the source to the complex functioning and codes based on java will be isolated from each other.

  For a complex operation, you use a function that can be called without flaw inside the DML and DQL statements. Inside the function, you can use as many procedure to do the massage/validation/transformation.

  We have a requirement of scripts and automation of stream using ODI API and SDK. The requirement must use source ODI API and SDK to target cards in Excel (mapping map) is read and can use the SDK to create interfaces for Excel sheets. I am a novice to Groovy and Java script.   I am able to create individual objects of ODI as 'Projects', 'Models', 'Interfaces' and 'Packages' by using the 'Groovy' editor that comes with ODI 11 g.

• As to generate a specific sequence using ODI.

  I am new to ODI. Currently working on version 10.1.3.6. I have a question about the sequence generate using ODI.

  I have a requirement to generate a drill_key based on values in other columns of 4. If the values are the same in the columns then drill_id must be repeated if combination changes new drill id should be generated. Can we achieve by using the sequence in ODI? See the tables below:

  Any help is appreciated in this regard.

  So, basically, we need to be rolled up an excel file or csv file or a text file by running a daily procedure oracle data integrator. We are working on the request, but need to understand how an exportable excel file

• Customer wants to use muse to edit, not BC admin

  The client bought Adobe Muse to use on their Web site and do not use do not BC to update with.

  Your customer can surely use Muse to update the site. It's no problem you have to just provide him with the .muse file and assets.

  That said, you should make sure that you are both using the same version of Muse. Muse sites are not retro-compatible. So if you use the latest version of CC 2015 and the customer only has a 32-bit computer and using an older version, they will not be able to open, etc. So the most important is that both of you need to be on the same version of Muse, in which case you will need to resume work on it as well.

  Did someone already used ODI SDK to get information in the security module? I try to get the following information with the SDK:

  Little play of related security functionality is supported through SDK. Now sdk does not support the control of the access privileges for a user.

• Financial Analytics: Query GL balance

  1) depends on the version of ODI. In ODI 11 g, that it could be done by using several datasets and UNION operator. Look at this link http://odiexperts.com/11g-oracle-data-integrator-part-611g-union-minus-intersect/
  In ODI 10 g there are 2 ways to it - using multiple interfaces running one by one, or by implementing view in the UNION of database and 'hide' in this perspective.

  (2) step ODI procedure to execute some SQL code, then you might add this step with the relevant code in your package
