  We are implementing instance OBIA7.9.5 Oracle 11.5.10 Vision.
  
  Components installation succeeded.
  We followed the respective Configuration steps for the Analytics module and set up the latter.
  
  When we start full charge for financial analytics,
  321 tasks, 215 was properly executed, 2 tasks failed and remaining were stopped
  
  below were the failed task
  Load in Position Dimension-> create Index W_POSITION_D_U1 INDEX
  TASK_GROUP_Extract_EmployeeDimension-> create Index W_EMPLOYEE_DS_U1 INDEX
  
  We received the error log below, on the creation of Index.

  everything by analyzing the error code above in the oracle forum, got a clue at the bottom of the link

  even after having made the changes mentioned in the link above and restart the ETL even once, we get the same error message.

  If you right click on the task (or taskgroup) who is a failure in the dac and select 'Détails', you can see a list of the indexes that are supposed to have created and to check on those who fail.

  In addition, if you just want to finish the execution plan to look at where you are now find the clues failed and set them to the full status and re-queue implementation plan.

  OLIVIER 11 g is a platform. The financial analytics, you watch OBIA (Oracle Business Intelligence Applications). Later in the stable is 7.9.6.3. OLIVIER is hosted on the platform of the OBI.

  We are towards the top and OBI 10 g and consider the addition of Oracle financial analytics. A few questions for the experts Apps:
  
  -Is it possible to demonstrate the solution with demo data and if so, how?

  There is something called Oracle BIC2Go... that is a pre-packaged image virtual machine you can get either from your Oracle representative or purchase... It has all the services for financial analytics with data type "demo". Otherwise, you may have to do the complete installation/configuration of BI applications. Try to run it against the vision of Oracle EBS or a 'Demo' of PeopleSoft Db... etc... but these are small DBs and not really will give you the necessary data for most of the dashboard OOTB reports.

  -Informatica and DAC (for the demo or the actual installation) or can we use our existing warehouse and ETL tool?
  BI applications to DAC and Informatica (although a version of applications used BI ODI). You can't just plug in another tool. I am told Oracle can go to ODI for future versions, but for now you need DAC and LOWER.

  -Oracle financial analytics is compatible with OBIEE 11 g?

  It is available for version 7963 STANDARD (the latest version).

• How financial analytics to determine the types of dimensions

  How can we determine what types of dimensions are built by Oracle as part of OLIVIER? I am wanting to understand the types of dimensions (Type I, Type II and one who is slowly changing dimension and what columns are used for dates to keep history of these dimension tables) for all of the dimensions of the box provided.

  Hi, for BIApps v > = 7.9.6.x Look Design-->--> Tab(bottom pane) the task settings. You will see *' $$ TYPE2_FLG ' * parameter (look at the specific SIL tasks in the list)

  For older versions of BI applications find you in DAC--> Design--> Source system settings tab

  However, I don't see this option for the domain "Finance - Accounting. I find myself manually by adding the option "Activate the Dimensions of project" by click on the < Add / Remove > option of the Configuration Tags tab under the theme "Finance - Accounting.
  
  Can anyone confirm that they faced the same "problem"? What actions did take? I have in the past executed charges without make this selection for all Oracle finance, and he always seemed to make the connection between the Oracle Finance and PA.

  Made general don't have no connection to the dimensions of the project, that is to say there is no analysis of the dimensions of the project GL data. This is why you don't see in the GL subject area. If you added it yourself and lit, it has probably no effect.

  You should do after to do this automatically.

  1. first create a campaign in Eloqua.

  2. Enter the budget/cost parameters in Eloqua.

  3 configure Google Analytics query parameters in the parameters Eloqua area according to post http://topliners.eloqua.com/community/do_it/blog/2011/07/14/basic-web-analytics-integration-with-eloqua.

  Example of a string: utm_campaign =& utm_medium = email & utm_source = Eloqua

  You can also add additional fields as you want.

  4. establish an export programmed with all campaign data (ID, name, cost, etc.).

  5 the same configuration of automated export of Google API Reporting to download data.

  6. create and modify the data in the CSV file for your campaign according to the specified model.

  7. either manually configure step 6 or your program to do this and feed it through the API of Google relationship management.

• Cubes of financiers as ASO?

  One of my clients is planning to convert its BSO cubes to ASO to improve loading and calculation times. Cubes contain financial data and are used to generate financial statements (P & L, balance sheet, cash flow, etc.) for the current and future years. These cubes also hold forecasts given outside actual expenditures, which are responsible for the ERP system.
  
  Now, I am aware of the fundamental differences between the structure of the ASO and BSO cubes - I worked on financial BSO cubes and of simple cubic ASO in the past.
  
  But depending on complexity of financial forecasting applications, this idea of the conversion of BSO ASO feasible and viable? Can do the complex calculations of BSO cube in these cubes managed by MDX in ASO?

  Hello

  We have a similar requirement of our customer. Only calculations that can be converted are the member formulas. If you have a lot of scripts of calculations, it can become very difficult. Also remember that Aso, you can only enter at level 0. So if you non-niveau entries 0 members, you will lose this feature. Under x 11, ASO supports time of balance sheet accounts, so it's a good thing if you have a balance report.

• Financial Incremenatl for Analyics load using Informatica-Performance problem

  We took of incremental charges for financial analytics of Oracle EBS 11.5.10.2 using Informatica 8.6. Our version of the OBIEE apps is 7.9.6. Someone at - it run in having to add indexes on LAST_UPDATE_DATE of many of the sources such as AP_AE_HEADERS_ALL tables. We analyze performance issues with ETL queries for incremental load and realized that most of the queries use LAST_UPDATE_DATE to extract the data from the source tables. Some source tables do not have an index on this field.

• Fianacial Analytics failed with error Code = 36331

  Hi all
  I run the execution plan for financial analytics EBS R12 and few tasks in this EP failed. When I try to debug them using the session log files, I could not find them. I mean, there is no session generated for these tasks failed newspapers! But, newspapers workflow does not give me clear reason, they had good reason for the failure. Is there another way, where I can get to debug these tasks...
  
  In the workflow log, I found «Error Code = 36331:Unknown error code reason 36331»
  When I gave a fresh search on this error, it sent me to a position where we must apply the patches EBF189068 and EBF191169. But in my case, I already have the EP was properly executed for EBS 11.5.10 version.
  But do not know if the patches have been applied or not, if not yet what I apply these patches?

  However after taking another look at your journal for Wflw, I think you may have a problem with the connection:
  TM_6193 that an error has occurred during the expansion of the connection of database connection parameter name ORA_R12 for the variable of $DBConnection_OLTP database connection is not well defined. .

  Are you sure that you have access to your defined source DB? You specified settings for your execution Plan in DAC correctly?

• gl_balance_F and Gl_other_F are not met for forest down?

  is it not a common practice in organizations to see the summary / balance sheet and wanting to break through to the next level as to see the journal lines? I'm not interested by how knwing Pierce through/down journal lines until what subsidiary ledgers that we don't have here hv. Try to find the source for the details however.
  
  So my main requirement is when the client checks the balance, he sees amounts summaries referred to in the report. If he clicks on any amount, he should be able to see how this amount was arrived to find out the details/journal line entries. IS - it is not delivered in default OOTB financial analytics or am I missing something here? Are GL_BALANCE_F and GL_OTHER_F not joined internally?
  
  IF the above is the case, how to achieve what the customer needs? Just an idea in real time valid required. I don't have instructions step by step.
  
  Just in case it isn't clear, a transaction to the ATM is the best example I can think. If I see my balance increase/reduction of the previous month, I take a tiny transaction that shows where all I spent my money.

  I believe in financial analytics that you have 2 options to fill the W_GL_BALANCE_F... One is directly from the source GL system, and another is calculated in the ETL process based on the W_GL_OTHER_F based on specific CAD configuration tags. Essentially, the navigation links allow you to "drill down", according to the needs from one level to the other... but from a point of view of DW, these are 2 separate operations... with 2 different granularities... which is why they are in 2 different schemas in Star. For example, W_GL_OTHER_F aura of the attributes of dimensions much more as the table. W_GL_BALANCE_F normally in dimensional modeling you do want not to "join" 2 tables of facts (at least in my understanding of Kimball). However, you can allocate attributes of a table of granularity higher as a lower granularity. Not sure if this can help answer your question.
