  We are towards the top and OBI 10 g and consider the addition of Oracle financial analytics. A few questions for the experts Apps:
  
  -Is it possible to demonstrate the solution with demo data and if so, how?
  -Informatica and DAC (for the demo or the actual installation) or can we use our existing warehouse and ETL tool?
  -Oracle financial analytics is compatible with OBIEE 11 g?

  There is something called Oracle BIC2Go... that is a pre-packaged image virtual machine you can get either from your Oracle representative or purchase... It has all the services for financial analytics with data type "demo". Otherwise, you may have to do the complete installation/configuration of BI applications. Try to run it against the vision of Oracle EBS or a 'Demo' of PeopleSoft Db... etc... but these are small DBs and not really will give you the necessary data for most of the dashboard OOTB reports.

  -Informatica and DAC (for the demo or the actual installation) or can we use our existing warehouse and ETL tool?
  BI applications to DAC and Informatica (although a version of applications used BI ODI). You can't just plug in another tool. I am told Oracle can go to ODI for future versions, but for now you need DAC and LOWER.

  -Oracle financial analytics is compatible with OBIEE 11 g?

  It is available for version 7963 STANDARD (the latest version).

  We are implementing instance OBIA7.9.5 Oracle 11.5.10 Vision.
  
  Components installation succeeded.
  We followed the respective Configuration steps for the Analytics module and set up the latter.
  
  When we start full charge for financial analytics,
  321 tasks, 215 was properly executed, 2 tasks failed and remaining were stopped
  
  below were the failed task
  Load in Position Dimension-> create Index W_POSITION_D_U1 INDEX
  TASK_GROUP_Extract_EmployeeDimension-> create Index W_EMPLOYEE_DS_U1 INDEX
  
  We received the error log below, on the creation of Index.

  everything by analyzing the error code above in the oracle forum, got a clue at the bottom of the link

  even after having made the changes mentioned in the link above and restart the ETL even once, we get the same error message.

  If you right click on the task (or taskgroup) who is a failure in the dac and select 'Détails', you can see a list of the indexes that are supposed to have created and to check on those who fail.

  In addition, if you just want to finish the execution plan to look at where you are now find the clues failed and set them to the full status and re-queue implementation plan.

  Hello. Thanks for this direction. Problem turned out to be coming through "Elegant". A style to remove ads from eBay has proved to be the root of the problem, and eBay has been fully functional as soon as I disabled the style.
  I really liked this style... think I'll keep it for viewing and clear to sell! Elegant, which is easy using the toolbar in the Firefox Add-on.

  on 5.6.4 I try to create an availability report of the App with Agent dashboard selector.

  But what creation I'm lost by choosing the right element in Add a report View.

  I have tested many of them, but never could generate the same graph.

  I'm not a fan of this point of view and think it would make a bad report because it only shows the current values.

  But if you really want to be able to abandon this view in a report, you can do this by adding "Reportlet" for the purpose of notice "Operation/AppMonitor/App availability with selector Agent systems" in the definition of WCF configured Editor.

  You can get this information from the use of follow-up. Usage tracking tables store the dashboard and dashboard page names. Assuming that the avialable reports have been executed at least once, you can use the SQL code following in a direct request to the database to get the information you want.

  I came across a solution where you can hide/show the column value in another cell. But my requirement is that it should be displayed when the page opens, and the user will not have to click a button to see the value.   I'm not sure to understand your needs - you are showing us 2 data lines, lines 7 or 9? You want the long description of detail on the same line, or below?

  I'll go on the assumption that you are showing us two rows, and long descriptions in this example are found along 3 to 4 lines, and you want long descriptions under the details. In this case, I suggest using "column name" models They are much easier to use as they appear when you look at everything first, so bear with me.

  Under 'shared components', select 'Models' and click then on create yellow > button. You create a report model, from scratch. On the last page of the wizard, select "Named column (model line)" for the type of model. This will create a model rather generic (and useless), which you'll have to edit; I don't know why they chose to not send you directly in the editor. When you change it, you will see that the single field whose value is 'Model line 1', and it is set to:

  #1##2##3##4##5#
  

  To meet your needs with basic features, change it to something in the sense of:

  #COUNTRY##STATE##CITY##VERT#
  #DETAILS#
  

  Then, you probably want to put something in the position of the column model, such as:

  CountryStateCityVertical Business
  Details
  

  Applies to whatever you want, of course the CSS styles.

  Using the model is simple: If your report, select the model and make sure that your SQL returns values using the column names specified in your model. Otherwise, you will see "#COUNTRY #" literal text in your report.

  You can get fancy with these, of course, as the application of different styles for alternating rows, but I'll leave that as pretty good to help you get started (I hope).

  We faced the same problem after upgarde. Follow us the steps below to get an output.

  In order to obtain a release is necessary to make sure that you enter appropriate
  parameter values to generate report out on accounts payable.
  1.1 run the report with the registry Type = "Non-recoverable" or "All".
  1.2 launch with "Tax Reg" instead of "DEFAULT" to the defined parameter attribute...
  Also check the following options
  * If you have bills that have tax distributions which have the ability to restore partial or fully
  recoverable, you can see invoices in record type = "TAX".
  * If all your bills are non-refundable, you can find that in not recoverable income tax
  Register.
  * If you have not posted invoices, choose appropriate
  the parameter value for the status of accounting.
  1.3 more please enter Yes for the specific transaction type suppliers accounts that you want to the list.
