  I.e. merge the RPD monitoring in the current repository and second method directly imported table S_NQ_ACCT table and layer physics with on the merger of the use. I have confused both r same methods are not?

• Track usage OBIEE stops?

  Hey everybody,
  
  We currently use OBIEE 11.1.1.6.5 at work, and we have made all necessary settings for the follow-up of the use of the service.
  
  However, the follow-up of using stops working every time in awhile; When I check the file NQSConfig.INI (where you type YES in the section of track usage, and indicate in what tables usage records will be inserted, etc.), it seems as if he has somehow been returned to its default state. Follow-up of the use is set to NO, the other settings are different from what I changed in...
  
  A counselor told me it is related to the Enterprise Manager BI services restart, but he could not give a satisfactory answer.
  
  Can any ideas on how I fix? I followed to remain on; use I don't want something to reset it without it being known.
  
  Thoughts? Ideas?

  You use the old method of enabling usage tracking. It is now processed in MS, so whenever you restart the services of EM, the EM settings are reused. • Track usage - query_text limit

  I need to select complete queries that were run through the dashboard.
  
  The table that stores this as a limit of 1024 on the number of characters stored (table, column query_text s_nq_acct), so I lose the end of queries.
  
  Anyway is to extend this column and the number of characters stored?
  
  I know that I can extend the table easily with DDL, but where I have to change tracking on the end OBIEE, so it truncates to an upper limit of use?

• OBIEE 11 G use following

  I'm in the implementation process on our servers of OBIEE 11.7.0 training use

  In order for me to set up the monitoring of its use, I need to configure the repository by giving the correct settings.

  The thing is that I'm not sure what my default schema name, and the password is that I gave during the use of the remote control.

  Why do you need UCR schema details... in my example, I installed the tables in the schema of the regional coordination of usage tracking unit... Ddon can't you must... you can create a new schema and install the monitoring of the use...

  If you want to see what pattern you have installed... go on weblogic console > click on lock and change >? Services > datasources > click BIPdata source

  Then click configuration > then connection pool...

  in the properties box, you will see the user name which is nothing other than your schema name you gave when installing the remote control...

  I have followed in my RPD to use, but it seems to me to miss the follow-up reports in predefined usage answers. I followed doc:

• Use Merge to RPD Tracking

  Once the merger was held, I can see the folder of the master RPD to track usage. However some files of the master RPD to mappings errors
  
  ERRORS:
  
  Applications of BUSINESS MODEL:
  Logic column [38028] deposit (Year Ago) (£) do not have a valid data type.
  [nQSError: 23013] An error occurred during extraction of the definition of metadata for the filing of the attribute (Year Ago) (£)
  [nQSError: 22038] Function AGO requires at least one attribute of measure in its first argument.
  
  
  There are a lot of mistakes like that after the merger, can someone help me with the cause. The merger took place in offline mode

  Looks like logical source is missing.
  Would like to make unauthorized processes, I do most of the time with my risk ;)

  Open master Dr. and usagetrack SPR
  (1) on the current main RPD (after the merger) remove MDB to use track and also catalog (remove only the tables of presentation)
  (2) copy use MDB to use track RPD model
  (3) Paste Master SPR mdb layer
  (4) copy presentation of the catalogue to use SPR shirts and paste in the PS in master SPR layer

  It should work.

  In obiee11.1.1.6.0 version S_NQ_ACCT followed its use and the planning objects are moved in the area of target to the schema database of the UCR and also new added column and several types of column has changed.

  Hey parag.

  There is no difference as such in the monitoring of the use of the two, as both the MDB layer to query and so on. Usage tracking is to know the performance of reports/dashboards and queries running backend.
  What is the difference you are looking for or obtained?

  Its identical to what you mentioned and it not there no OOTB separated for the use of follow-up for BI applications as such

• Performance of OBIEE report initialization problem

  I encountered a problem on the production, when the report is selected, it appears very slow even I made a few adjustments of performance on this report. And after I checked the session, when the report is selected, it works again with some WHAT SQL with each guest has value and it doesn't show any results in the present report.
  
  So, my question is, is it possible to not run this SQL or y at - it another way to better performance on this report?

  I certainly have a lot of suggestions. But to really help, I need a little more detail.

  How different measures do you have in the pivot table? You have all time series analytics in there (as there is or far)? Approximately how many records are displayed in the PivotTable (100, 1,000,100,000)?

  If you manage to turn on tracking usage, we can see how much time is spent in the database compared to OBIEE. If it turns out that the bottleneck is the database, then you will need to work with your DBA to set up the database.

  Hi Terri,

  If it is 11.1.2.x, then FRlogging.log file should have little information. The Bi + usage tracking records not any act done with report FR. play with the level of logging for EN could give detailed information in the log file.

  After reading the related documentation on the monitoring of the use, I am still confused the true meaning of the following fields:
  
  COMPILE_TIME_SEC The time in seconds required to compile the query.
  C UM_DB_TIME_SEC The total amount of time in seconds during which the Oracle BI server expected physical databases on behalf of a front-end application logic.
  TOTAL_TIME_SEC The time in seconds that the Oracle BI server worked on the request while the customer waited answers to his query requests.
  START_TS The date and time that the logical request has been submitted.
  END_TS The date and time of the logical request ends. The start and end timestamps also reflect that the application spent waiting for resources are available at any time.
  
  My questions are:
  1 is TOTAL_TIME_SEC = C U M_DB_TIME_SEC + COMPILE_TIME_SEC? Why are there cases where C U M_DB_TIME_SEC > TOTAL_TIME_SEC?
  2. I have connected the case where (END_TS - START_TS) > TOTAL_TIME_SEC. Why would this happen?
