OBIEE11g: How to move webcat location?

Hi guys,.

We are working on implementations of obiee 11g and all of a sudden, we discovered that our Webcat points to the path

.../app/Oracle/instance/instance1/bifoundation/OracleBIPresentationServicesComponent/coreapplication_obips1/catalog/SampleAppLite/root

We want to change the location of a different path. What is the impact of the change of the place of Webcat 11 g, and also how we can change?

Thanks in advance.

Hello

You can copy your web catalog to the new location and point to the new location in MS.
If you only change path in EM, then after restart OBI will create costs and empty the web catalog.

  • How to move the FILE from one place to another and keep "Indexing" have to move to the unknown location so you can't discover its full file path? Windows instructions provide information wrong re: how to do this!

Make a bunch of audio files, placed in a folder on my desktop. Files initially sent to RealPlayer to burn, but when finished burning CD and went to read a CD, folder got seized by Media Player, 'Indexed' and disappeared from the office. I'm a relatively new computer user, and I need to learn more about file paths, how to view the path FULL of a file on my computer and how to type (create) full path when I need to. The "Indexing" feature seems to erase this lesson for me, and after having spent four hours trying to find Vista instructions on "How to move the file from one place to another", I gave up! Windows 'Help and Support' on my computer gives wrong directions. It states that if I right click on a folder > properties, a dialog box opens with a tab by which I can move my account. There is no tab location here. I found locations tab when right click on the "Mobile" folder, but still no option to "move file". No idea what is the folder "Roaming" or why it's on my computer. I want my audio files in the My Music folder, but this place is "access denied." Don't know how to get the audio file it in any case, but if anyone has any advice, I would be very happy! Thank you. PS - I had no problem moving folders in XP. I don't like the idea that a computer is to decide where to put my files. I want to control where I put my files. I don't like the way search works under Vista. I liked the XP search companion better because, for a computer fool like me, it was really easy to organize and find files and folders and had an option specific to find audio and video file TYPES.

  • How to move iTunes to support SSD drive on secondary disk files

    Hello

I think the title pretty much everything said. My SSD drive app fills and although I have three drives in my desktop Mac PRO somehow the artwork & mobile apps are like 20 gigs. The music files are in a secondary drive. What is the best way to move all the files to support the HUGE secondary disk so I don't understand all of a sudden the dreaded exclamation point?

    Thank you

    Enio

    10.11.4 running

In essence, you must keep the support files in the folder as the iTunes music files, then let iTunes knows where they are located.

It is better than the iTunes folder everything will be moved to the external drive, not just the music and media files. The link below is instructions on how to do it properly. You "partially" here, but you should still be able to follow them, to make the move.

It is a common problem with how XP displays the items on your screen. When things get a bit bogged down, you'll start to see trails of the window as you drag. • HOW TO MOVE, COPY, AND DOWNLOAD FILES

How to move a folder?  Unlike XP
where you can manage files and folders to any location using the navigation bar on the side I can't find how to do this.
Therefore, I can't copy something on my desk which is located in the document or image folder.
I can also get the files on drive G which is my on my camera card reader. Using the card because the computer will not read my camera with the cord. Help please - I've been searching help - no success.

Open Windows Explorer by clicking on computer, then through the directories until you find the folder that you are eager to move (or if you already - as it is on your desktop, simply follow the following procedures).

Navigate to the folder you want to move and select a simple left click and then type CTRL-C (copy) and CTRL-X (cut).  Then, go to the location where you want the folder (the parent folder), and then type Ctrl + V (paste) and the file will be either be copied or moved (depending on the option you selected).

This same process will work with your G-drive (just select the files/folders that you want to copy/move and navigate to the destination location and paste them there).

    I hope this helps.

  • How to move the folder my documents?

    Hello:

I have recently created a new partition on my hard drive (f) and want my libraries to save here. I looked at how to do this and it seems simple, but it won't work. The usual method is to go to properties and select the location tab. However, when I go to properties there is only one tab, where I can't figure out how to move my libraries. Any help would be appreciated.

Click the Start button and click on your user name list to the top.

Right-click on the My Documents folder, and then click Properties,

You should now see a section of the site.

  • How to change the location of the file

I have several files as a source that will add every day and I'll take them somewhere x with some template file and once I have them going to charge finished at location y. My problem is that if I have a problem while loading the data, it will fail and x location it will generate the files as file.error or file.log and after having solved the problem and rerun the package of the interface is taken from file.error or file.log and failing. I want to generate these error logs to another location. I use the sql ikm append command let know how to solve this problem.

    Hello

It is always advisable to process only the files you want.

    How to move files regarding:

Add file earthwork steps in your package that will move the files from the source directory to the target based on the odiFileMove tool directory. Before you run your (mapping) interface to ensure that all log and error files are moved to the target directory:

The image above shows the written order to move all ".log" files in the given directory. In the next step, you can write the same for the "* .error" files. Optionally, you can also change these move with a step of odiOSCommand within which you can write the command move. You can move that all non necessary/extensions of files with a single command. In this way the interface treats a directory that does not include the files .log or .error.

That said, it is good practice and used to treat only the desired files. By example, if you need deals only .txt files or .csv make sure that your interface treats only the *.csv or *.txt. This way you have the advantage of process only files with the extension you want and don't need to worry if the any non desired file (extension unwanted) exists or not in the given file before the stage of mapping and it is now also possible to move the log and error files after or before the execution of the (mapping) interface.

  • My Ext HD gets full. How to move my files containing all original photos for a new HD Ext.

I use LR 4 and the Ext HD is full that contains all the photos. How to move to a new HD Ext. I can't take any chances, I have a lot of images. Thank you. I am running Mac 10.8

Can be done in Lightroom, but some recommend this method.

    1. close Lightroom,

2 COPY the FILE MASTER containing all of your subfolders images for the new HD Ext Finder/Explorer or copy of the software, (using "copy", you can compare files to check that there is no corruption of the files being copied).

    3. open Lightroom.

    4. in the folder LR Panel-Right click your MASTER FILE and select "update folder location.

    5. in Finder/Explorer window opens - choose the new location of HD Ext. LR will then reference your images here.

    6. when everything works well from the new HD Ext you can remove the master file of the internal disk images.

    7. do you have a second HD Ext to make a "Clone" of the new HD Ext as backup.

  • How to move the mouse position of puppetry, followed by position in photoshop?

How to move the mouse position of puppetry, followed by position in photoshop?

In Photoshop, handles (guides) are creating/editing mode shape with the pen tool. Select the layer with mousetrack in his name, and then in the pen tool, you should see a small "x" indicating the location of the handful of mousetrack. Press and hold the appropriate keyboard qualifier (for example, Ctrl on Windows) to select the 'x' and then drag it to the intended location.

  • How simply move/Custom, organize your Photos in Lightroom 4?

I am so frustrated at the moment. I'm in Lightroom 4 and I'm in the Mode Library grid. All I want to do is take a photo in the grid and move it to another location in the grid. It seems that you should be able to just click on the picture, drag and drop to where you would like placed on the grid. It's impossible. Then I read that the record must be clicked on also. So I clicked on the folder. Then, a pop-up said that I have, "can't move photos as long as there are subfolders". So I clicked on the subfolder and I still couldn't move picture. Then I read that I had to delete the subfolder. I did it and all 546 photos have been removed from Lightroom. I am now in the middle of importing the photos in Lightroom. Why is it so difficult? In Aperture, you need to drag the photo to the desired position. It works just like a toaster. But why Lightroom does make things so difficult? I wish someone would do a tutorial for Adobe TV about how simply move the photos. It is so basic and I can't understand it. Please, someone tell me just how to move a photo in Lightroom 4 to another position? Thank you.

It seems that if you try to sort on a folder that has subfolders. LR will not allow this - you must open specific subfolder that contains only these images you need to sort and to do with it.

  • How to move 1 second rear?

    Hi guys,.

I'm just learning to do some keyframing in Premiere Pro. I know how to move to the previous or next keyframe point.

But I have problem setting the location of the keyframe. Description of my problem looks like this:
I have about 10 videos placed on 10 tracks. That's what I wanted to do:

At most lower rail (1 video track):
I want to keyframe something from point 1 to point 2 (duration 1 second)

    To the video track 2:
I want to keyframe something point 2 points 3 (duration 1 second)

    To the video track 3:
I want to keyframe something from point 3 to point 4 (duration 1 second)

    .
    .
    .
    .

    To the video track 10:
I want to keyframe something point points 10, 11 (duration 1 second)

So you see, I certainly need ICT to move 1 sec before or back quickly (with a single tab if possible).

No idea how should I do this?

    Thank you

    Hello..

Well you can do it in one of 2 ways: -.

1 put the tablespace contains the data offline files, copy the data index files to the new location, and then change the database rename ' old/file/name/location of the file' to 'new/file/name/locatio. put storage space online. Completed successfully, remove the file data from the old location.

    2. in the hope that these two data files belongs to 1 tablespace and tablespace that contains only the index, you can create a tablespace with its data on the new mountpoint file again, then rebuild the index of aid (dynamic script)

    change owner.index_name tablespace new_tbs_name n parallel reconstruction;

Once all the indexes have been moved to the new tablespace you can drop the previous old tablespace.

    I would prefer 1.
