• Is the clip on the Clip Sport more sustainable than on the Zip Clip?

  Like many of you, I had several Zip Clip clamps break/crack.  It is is a regrettable fault on an mp3 player also very functional.  I have my Zip clip to my belt of shorts when running, so a work item is an essential feature for me.

  So is the clip on the new Sansa Clip Sport more rugged/durable and less prone to breaking than on the Zip Clip?

  Song downloaded to Windows 7 Media Center. It is a WPL format, but I can't play on my SanDisk Clip Sport MP3 player because the player does not support this file format. How can I change the WPL to MP3 format?

  Hi Natalie - WPL is a playlist file and cannot be converted to mp3 because it contains only pointers to the actual music files. You need locate the actual music files and transfer them from there. (They may not be no need for conversion - it depends if they are in a format supported by the SanDisk card - it seems to support usual ones).

• Cannot add files to Clip + but no error message and Clip Sport works fine on the same machine

  I used successfully the Clip + 4 GB for years without any problem, currently using Windows 7 Prem 64 bit.  Now when I try to add files using MS Explorer it shows the added file (in the Green window scroll bar) but never ends adding the file!  I waited 15 minutes for a short file without success.  Also, I started to use a Sport Clip 8 GB and it works fine, just can't get the Clip + to add more files.  I can delete files and can also use files that remain on the Clip + but can not add new ones.  Any help would be greatly appreciated!  Thanks in advance.

  I tried to reload the firmware and this time it worked well and is not only all my old stuff still on the Clip + but I was able to add a small file without problems and properly access all folders of files, so THANKS for the suggestion and the problem solved!  BTW, I had 318MB of space on the Clip +, not KB... Sorry about that

• Cannot get new SanDisk Clip Sport to turn on

  I have a brand new Sport Clip... responsible for an audiobook mp3 top... He listened for 1-2 hours a night. Worked very well! Next night, I could not activate it. Heard that there is no adjustment on this Sport Clip. Connected to the computer for 2-3 hours... still nothing. Any suggestions?

  Reset is the select button / power center for 20 sec. Also plug it into USB should activate as well. If you did the zero setting and it's still not coming it would seem that it is bad and would need to be replaced.

  I have a view object that has more than 2000 lines. But when I try to see the front end of data, it does is display only 500 records.

  Then when I did some research I discovered that there is a profile option where I need to increase the size.

  before the value in the profile Option (FND: display object Max size Fetch) amounted to 500

  Thus valued at 3000.

  But I wanted to know what will be the impact of the evolution of this profile option on Database/Application.

  I would like 2 items that I can drag and move down indipendantly with the mouse (vertically only) between the two limits.

• Display text/objects above clip FLV

  I have a clips FLV who needs to play continuously in the background. I have imported component FLVPlayback on the library and wrote some actionscripts to load FLV and loop. I created another layer on top and want to put some text objects that show the dynamic numbers. But as soon as FLV starts playing, it overlaps in the upper layer and text objects are hidden. Can someone tell me if it works how flash? or y at - there a way around?

  Overview: I am embedding the swf in a c# application and I directly call actionscripts methods of in c#. And my app sends periodically dynamic texts of c# to Flash. Everything works fine but when I play the FLV video in the background, none of the objects text objects are visible. I tried to place other symbols, graphics on video layer but not luck too.

  You can control the depth of objects in flash using swapDepths() (as2) or swapChildrenAt() (as3).  who as a version do you use?

  I have recived a gift this MP3, first week of June and the first time I loaded the battery everything worked well. But after a second time, I charged the battery, the only thing I get is the radio and the language is in Chinese and I can't the featue to change.   The Clip + has many more important than the Sport Clip features. For example, the Clip + handset internal memory with memory card, so you can have playlists of songs at a time. The Sport Clip has a limit of about 2,000 for memory card song and about 2 000 to the internal memory. On the Sport Clip, a playlist works with the files on the memory card or the internal memory, but not both.

  The Clip + limit the song about 8 000 songs. IMO that feature the most important as the Clip + has it is that it supports Rockbox. Rockbox is a free alternative firmware (operating system) for the player who offers a large number. With Rockbox, for example, the limit of the song is probably extremely high, as no one has reported reaching. Some use an SDXC card 64 GB Rockboxed Clip + (formatted to FAT32) microphone. I like the feature of intercommunication in Rockbox, which makes the headset much more like listening to speakers (he mixes the part of the channel opposite in each ear with a slight delay. This effect is adjustable, or can be turned off). Rockbox offers great flexibility for the playlists.

  The Clip + does not display an album, while the Sport Clip only. Media Clip + WMA protected files, while the protected files only supported on the Sport Clip are those of the Audible. Put Rockbox on the Clip + risk compromising its ability to play protected files. Rockbox itself does not play protected files, however Rockbox is a dual boot operating system, so a Clip + with Rockbox installed might still be able to play some protected files when it is initialized using the firmware from Sandisk.

  The Sport Clip has a screen much larger than the Clip + and the battery life for the Sport Clip is listed as vs. 25 hours to 15 hours, for the Clip + or Clip Zip. The result is that if you want to use Rockbox or protected WMA files, you need the Clip + (or Clip Zip). If you have a large collection of music (more than about 2,000 songs) a Clip + (or Clip Zip) would be much better than the Sport Clip, especially if you put Rockbox on the Clip + or Clip Zip. There is no Rockbox for the Sport of Clip, and it seems that Rockbox can never be available for the Sport Clip.

  The limits of the song I mentioned are approximate because what is limited, it is the size of the database table, in order to have a complex file structure, or long file names or long tags may makes the limits quite a bit lower.

  I have all you players, the Clip + (Rockboxed), Zip (Rockboxed) Clip and Clip Sport. My favorite of the three is the Clip Rockboxed Zip, because it has all the features of the Clip + Rockboxed and a larger screen, as well as the ability to display album art. The Clip + can not display album art. Because of the larger screen, then the display of the lists, the Clip of Rockboxed Zip more items at the same time as the Clip + Rockboxed displays.

• Clip songs sports correspondence & Album confusion

  I just bought a Sport Clip, and in this mp3 player the songs are displayed in alphabetical order and the correct (in each album) order as all other mp3 players (including the Zip Clip I have have the same albums). I understand this is normal in the menu "all songs", but in the menu "Artist > Album >(*here*) ' they are never in the intended order, it's frustrating. Who and confusions of album that happens when two albums have almost the same name, as "Album 1, Album 2", they mash up together and form 'Album' who then all songs appear in alphabetical order together in one-all-mash-up terrible order. Remove both the purpose of the order of the pieces and the separation of the two perfectly organized albums. This does not happen with my year Clip Zip who have the same albums.

  My question is, is it on purpose? or my Sport Clip does not work well? and if it is on purpose why would do that instead of a layout of the ordinary mp3 player? as their own Clip Zip.

  I'm guessing that about three people have Clip Sports at this stage, so this may require a bit of patience to check. My suspicion is that what you are experiencing is a software bug, not a fault isolated to your individual player - but you can always share your own and see. I will say, as another client of SanDisk for a long time, I've seen a good amount of bugs arise in their previous devices. Fortunately they have tended to account of most of them via firmware updates later (with varying degrees of success... ).

  I try to use the Sport Clip in my 2012 Toyota RAV4, it works when I don't have a memory card, but it won't play music on a map. What I am doing wrong?

  It works because you use it (Clip Sport) control everything (except volume; you could still use the volume control on the radio).

  2. Do you have an error message when it is not detected? If YES, what is the exact and complete error message that you receive?

  I understand that the Sport Clip Sandisk MP3 player is not detected by your computer. The question may arise if the currently loaded USB driver has become unstable or damaged or if your PC requires an update for problems that could conflict with a device USB and Windows. This can also occur if your USB controllers may have become unstable or corrupt. So, I would suggest trying the following steps and check if the problem persists.

  Method 1:

  Please try the fixit provided below which will help you solve common problems related to hardware and devices.

  Hardware devices do not work or are not detected in Windows

  If method 1 does not work, try Method 2.

  Method 2:

  Remove and reinstall all USB controllers.

  1. Open the device by pressing the Windows key + XManager, click Control Panel, click system and security, and then, under System, clicking Device Manager. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
  2. In the list of the categories of equipment, locate and expand Bus USB controllers.
  3. Right-click every device under the Bus USB controllers node and then click Uninstall to remove them one at a time.
  4. Restart the computer and let the USB controllers get reinstalled.
  5. Plug in the removable USB device and test to make sure that the problem is solved.

  If the problem persists, try the following method.

  Check if your computer is able to connect with the media player.
