  • Game are performed very slowly and without standby option

    I have HP nr 15-R007TX-G8D31PA #ACJ

I installed win pro 8.1 on my laptop and installed NVIDIA graphics card also always there is no standby option (hibernating) available and when I play games it run very slowly and graphics are not as good

Please help me with this problem

    @Vashu23

These pages can help with your sleep/hibernation problems, the first is HP and the second is to WindowsEightForums:

Sleep and Hibernate in Windows 8, issues troubleshooting

Power Menu Options - Add or remove a standby or Hibernate in Windows 8

Also, here are a few tweaks that you can watch in windows 8, which can be useful for performance.

Set the performance of the slow system (Windows 8)

Also you can watch latency spikes. Essentially, it is an application, driver, or a combination that will push the CPU to its limits and so your system will have spikes where the transformer is overloaded. Requests will be have lag or stop responding, audio or video will pause or break up.

I found the following page on Sysnative that addresses this problem very well, with lots of graphics and links to Microsoft support pages. It will help you to isolate the cause.

  • Firefox 24 - options not remembered from one session to the other

When I've upgraded to Firefox 24, all the v23 option settings restore default values. I put them back the way I had them before, but after restarting the browser, all default as before. I use NoScript, and any change to its rules is also lost when I restart the browser. I rebooted several times. with no system restarts and the results are always the same.

History and passwords seem to be updated and kept in sessions. The problem is with the data to configure Firefox and NoScript.

I am running XP SP3 with 2 user accounts. One is an administrator account that I use only for the maintenance of the system, and the other is a limited account where I do most of my work. The admin account, where I installed v24, remembers changes in configuration between sessions; the problem is with the limited account, which is the one that I care.

I checked the profile in use for the limited account, and files have updated definitives in application Data Mozilla \limited user\application folders, so it doesn't look like a permission problem. This folder contains now 86 prefs-files numbered out of all 3 have maintenance date today, but the file prefs.js watch was yesterday, before I improved versions.

There are also 25 sessionstore-files numbered, that have all of the old dates, but the sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak files show as recent.

    Any suggestions?

    After posting the question, I found this thread in the support forum - https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-to-fix-preferences-wont-save?esab=a & s = firefox + + 24- + options + not + remembered & r = 1 & as=s#w_reset-firefox-to-fix-the-problem.

Following the instructions, it seems that the file for the limited account has been altered in the upgrade to the Version 24. I deleted, and the problem is solved.

    Bug CSCsr31403

When you configure the ASA in a failover pair, you must manually copy the AnyConnect and CSD images for the primary and the secondary ASA.   You must also do the same for the Anyconnect profile file if you use it.

Either force the ASA shall become active and copy the files to the new ASA assets using ASDM or copy files directly from the console ASA ensures using tftp or ftp.

    Uninstall what you have downloaded.

If windows, clean it by Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat tool - Adobe Labs

Reinstall the correct version for which you are authorized to use another browser.

  • The printer options not available when printing from Lightroom

    Hi all

I have a problem with the interface of Lightroom 2 (version 2.4, executed in 64-bit mode on my Intel Apple Mac with Mac OS X 10.5.8 (Leopard)) to my printer driver, an Epson Stylus Photo R800.  I can see looking through the forum that there has been a lot of problems with printers, but none as far as I can see that seem to cover my particular problem.

In the Lightroom print module, after setting everything up, selecting the correct ICC profile for the printer/paper etc. I click on the button "print...". "at the bottom of the right panel to launch the dialogue of the printer.  My problem is that the essential options, I need access to this printer dialogue, namely 'Print setting' (to determine the media type, and print quality) and "Color management", (to disable the printer color management)-are disabled.  To be exact, these options have a line through them, as if they were crossed.  "Print option" and "Setting the Extension" are similarly disabled, while "Layout", "Paper handling", "Cover Page" and Planner "are available.  (See JPEG screenshot attached.)

If I try to select one of the options not available such as 'Color management' I see the following on the screen error message:

"The bundle 'Color management' couldn't be responsible because it does not contain a version for the current architecture.  Contact the creator of all here for the most recent version: Color Management 3.09, SEIKO EPSON CORPORATION 2001-Copyright (C) 2005. All rights reserved. »

The strange thing is, if I print from Photoshop CS3, there is not this problem: "Print setting" and "Color management" are not disabled, and I can make the adjustments I want.

Coming off the printer prints color are way off if I print from Lightroom, so that from Photoshop, they are great - I guess because of this problem (I can not turn off printer in Lightroom color management, so that I can in Photoshop).

I guess that this is a problem in the interface between Lightroom 2 and my printer driver, but I find it strange that I don't have the same problem in Photoshop.

I have re-installed the latest printer driver downloaded from the website of Epson many times, following the instructions to the letter to Epson to remove the old drivers of my machine, to nothing does not.

I really want to print from Lightroom instead of Photoshop, I like the simplicity of the Lightroom print module.  Can anyone throw any light on this?  Any help or ideas gratefully received!

    Thank you

    Ian

Just save a driver of printer/preset in any 32-bit application. Then apply this preset when you print from LR runs as a 64-bit application. It is only the interface that is the problem. It should show very well, at least it does with Canon printers.

Check background processes - which can prevent the machine from sleep mode.
Check the scheduled tasks - that can bring the computer from sleep mode
Make sure that the cat is not walking on the keyboard to put the machine out of sleep. = check the BIOS settings to make sure that other devices are not out the machine in standby (modem/NIC/mouse, etc)

  • Standby option does not work on windows 7

Windows 7 - computer system used to sleep; light switch would turn yellow. The hard disk starts when the mouse is moved.

The description is correct. Mode 'sleep' needs the power button to be pressed in some computers and some PC, mouse activity takes up the PC.
Hibernation saves your session as such (like a snapshot) and turns off the PC. Here, you must press the power button to resume.
Note: If you enable hybrid sleep, you may need to press the power button to resume. Also, after hibernation, you can turn the power off and turn it on when necessary. The session will not be disturbed. Whereas, in sleep, you are not supposed to cut off the power (that too hybrid sleep is turned off).
If you feel that the answer is not related to your question, good answer here, with more description on the issue.

    Hello

The same notebook here! Can you please tell me what display driver you have installed? I tried to install Windows XP Home edition on mine a few months ago, but I wasn't able to find the right display driver.

  • Satellite C75 - A - auto sleep (standby) does not work

    Hello

My Toshiba SATELLITE C75 - A will not automatically in standby mode (standby) after some time of inactivity.
Eve works well when I trigger it manually with the start menu and when I do not use the mouse or keyboard for a while, the screen turns off. But neither sleep nor put into hibernation is turned on after the interval set in the energy saving plan.

    When I run
    powercfg with fluo compact
    on the console I get

"PCI Express Active State Power Management (ASPM) has been disabled due to incompatibility with the hardware on this computer."

    My BIOS is updated.
I would be really grateful for any advice.

    Hello

Have you tried to activate the Hibernate mode and standby manually by using the powercfg command?

Here is a list of possible options regarding the powercfg command:
    [Powercfg command-line options | http://technet.microsoft.com/en-gb/library/cc748940]

For example with the command * powercfg-h on * turns the hibernation feature on or off.
You can use also returns a list of devices that support hibernation or sleep

By the way: what system are you using?

In addition, you can try to activate or disable the PCIe Link State Power Management in Windows

Go to control panel-> Power Options-> advanced power plan settings
Here, scroll down and expand PCI Express and Link State Power Management.

Currently setting (without battery) or on battery and sector, open the drop-down menu, select Off or ON and click OK.
If you select No, there is no energy savings, and current runs regardless of which state that the laptop is in. (depending on whether your laptop is plugged or not).
On battery: Off = PCI Express even will communicate using the power of the battery.
Plugged in: Off = PCI Express communicates when it is connected as well.

  • Standby does not work on satellite

    Hello
I think I have the same problem that TSC, the function of sleep is not enabled on my laptop. When I click, start, stop - the standby key is "grey", IE. I can't click on it, I can only click on stop or restart.
In the toshiba power saver options, the wait cursor is also "grey" in each profile, so I can't activate it.

«In normal power saving options, clicking on the Advanced tab is not raise an option ' ' activate Standby ".» All that there is the options of what to get I hit the power button or close the lid. On closing the cover option (which is used to put my laptop on standby) it only has now an option, "do nothing". It is not yet all that exists.

    Please please can someone help?
My laptop is overheating and the fan made such a noise if I just leave it on, and I'm tired of having to launch and shut down five times a day.

    Thanks in advance!
    Jenna

    Hello Jenna

I assume that your laptop is not preinstalled with recovery media just with your own installation of the OS. Am I wrong?

As far as I know after sleep button graphics driver installation must be enabled. Hibernation (support) option must be enabled manually, but waiting has to be there.

I put t know which satellite you have, but of course, the device must be cleaned properly. Remove the unit from the dust will be able to take a breath and cooling fan will not run constantly.

  • computer will be management option not Eve if power > 1 minute

If the option to set power management standby after 1 minute of inactivity, it works; otherwise it is not - any ideas?

    Hello

    ·        Were you able to use watch on the system before with no problems? Since when are you facing this problem?

    ·        Remember to make changes to the system?

    Method 1:

I suggest to update display drivers as well as drivers from the chipset on the system and check if the problem is resolved. See the article mentioned below.

How to manage devices in Windows XP

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/283658

    Method 2:

If you have set any screensaver then, it could be that the screen saver wakes up the system after 1 minute. I suggest to disable the screensaver on the system and check if the system is able to go in standby mode. Follow the steps mentioned below.

    a. press the right-click on your mouse when your desktop is visible. A menu will appear.

    b. click 'properties '.

    c. look at the tabs under the marked blue title bar "display properties". You should be able to see one marked "screen saver". Click the screen saver tab once. You should now see a small monitor.

    d. find the drop down next to the marked buttons 'Settings' and 'Preview '. Click on the arrow down on the right side of the menu drop down.

    e. look the list of available screensavers. The first menu is marked '(none) '. Click on this title. Once you have clicked on the title, the "Apply" button will become operational.

    f. click apply. Close the display properties window and the Control Panel window. You have now disabled successfully your screen saver.

I suggest you follow the steps mentioned in the article below.

If you use the backup to cold to create the database pending, check whether you have followed these steps.

    1. Remove
all the data files and the database pending controlfiles.

    2. create a new controlfile eve of production to standby by using the following command
"change the database create controlfile as 'Location'"; "."

    3. move the controlfile back to the location of the server database of such relief as specified in the initialization parameter file.

    4. replace its appropriate place that was taken through cold backup all data files.

    5 startup nomount

    6 change the mounting base pending;

    7 restore database pending.
CPS archives newspapers sequence which is posed by the database of the production.

    You can try these steps.
