  If you have devices non-essential attached to the system, unplug them. Windows XP Setup may attempt to detect them.

  If you have more than one hard drive installed, disconnect all except the drive that you plan to install Windows XP on.

  Then about 6 months ago I started to receive messages when you enter a Web site that I need to install Flash Player to view the page.  I checked my modules and Shockwave or Flash Player have been activated and would download it again to display the Web site (which I had already visited several times without any problems).  This has happened on several different sites.  Then I started to receive messages that I needed to upgrade my IE8 browser to a newer version.  I checked HELP to make sure that I still installed IE11 and I did it, I started getting these messages more often then I went to the aid of Microsoft Office on what to do if your Web pages telling you to upgrade.  Basically, IE11 is reset or uninstall IE11.  Reset is not good so I tried the method of reinstallment.  I uninstalled IE11, went to the download page for Microsoft IE11 and proceeds to download IE11.

  I saw a message that I couldn't download IE11 because I need to Windows 7 SP1 or later or Windows server 2008.  Then, I went to Microsoft requirements for the installation of Service Pack 1 for Windows 7 and follow-up procedures one (i.e., uninstall Adobe Acrobet, disabling Microsoft Security Essentials and Windows Defender and firewall, etc.) and after the installation of SP1 for Windows 7, followed all procedures to know what to do after the installation of SP1.  Downloaded all the updates (which were more than 120) restarted and was satisfied with fluent how my laptop worked once more.

  After a week, I noticed my phone to talk more and more to load pages and would begin to get Windows Explorer "unresponsive".  It started with almost everything I opened and I tried to edit Web pages or click icon to redirect me to another window, I kept receiving "not responding".  Rose (Microsoft), what to do and monitoring tools to try to fix the problem.  Initially, the problem was to find for a few hours, then starting upwards.  After a few days, my laptop almost took 30-45 seconds to switch between the tabs or windows.  After a search through questions and answers in the Microsoft community and Microsoft Web pages, the bottom line was reinstall Windows 7 SP1.

  Yet once, uninstalled and reinstalled Windows 7 SP1 and again ran perfect for a few days.  I turned on computer laptop yesterday and noticed that it took a long time for the upcoming Windows logo and has a black screen for a few seconds before the logo appears.  Of course, out of nowhere, I went to IE clicked icon and took forever to get to Yahoo (which is my predefined Web page).  Each page, I'm going to again is freezing, "not responding" and very slow operation.

  It is so frustrating because I added not all programs at all.  I am running IE11, Microsoft Security Essentials, and that's all. Outside of Windows Defender, firewall, Explorer, Media player, etc..  Microsoft Security Essentials (I did a full scan) has detected no viruses whatsoever and I 264 GB 285 GB free on my C: drive.  Therefore, there is no problem with the free space.  I have deleted the old files, temp files, analyzed and defragmented my hard drive and am just lost as to what is the cause.  All my drives are underway and have no conflict with all devices.  If I go down my Windows Professional so I will not be able to download anything higher than IE9.  I love IE11 and am happy with Win 7 SP1 if only he would stay longer than 3 or 4 working days.

  I have often had the graphical artifacts - graphic display taking minutes updated - same problem on the screen.

  It was all Simulator 5.0

  I turned it off graphical acceleration and have no problem now.

  It is in view - graphics acceleration - Off on the Simulator

  The graphics acceleration option seems new to 5.0 simulators.

  This is an old topic but, I found just what exactly is the cause it is so slow, now I need help, correct.

  Symptom: The Games Explorer menu or a window, takes a lot of time to load all the shortcuts.

  Frequency: It seems to be a cycle time, even if I have not taken the time to set it. Once the menu is allowed to load completely, it will then instantly for a certain period of time. After this time, it loads and then start again slowly once again the cycle.

  Reproducible: 100%

  Cause: AV real-time analysis is something to do with the menu scanning.

  Evidence:

  #1 using process explore * you can see MsMpEng.exe fire upwards and on my system using 25% of cpu resources, when you open the menu/window and run until finally loading shortcuts, then stop.

  #2 Si you disable real-time scanning * menu loads instantaneously, every time.

  I need to know what exactly is swept, why it is wiped out and how to stop the research of...

  I tried to add the "C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\GameExplorer" folder to the exclusion list because that's where shortcuts seem to be actually created. It made no difference.

  I tried to add the folder "C:\Games" I have install all my games there too. It made no difference.

  With the help of Games Explorer Manager , I modified each shortcut so that the AppPathExe = the real game.exe and not the file created by windows. It made no difference.

  Using the same program I also removed any url * of each shortcut. It made no difference.

  So it's something I noticed recently on two Machines Windows 7 - when you use FileSelectPopup, the first time I call a FileSelectPopup, there's a good 2-3 second delay before the window opens. The following calls are much faster, but still order 700ms-1 s. is it possible for me to reduce this time? Also, I'd be happy if I could make the first call to FileSelectPopup were a little faster. I assumed that since there is a change within, as it is called the first time, charge some kind of module that takes a bit to load - I can preload this module when starting?

  The other problem I meet with FileSelectPopup, is that if I call it with the parameter of type of files, the '*.tdms' value, he will show me the files with the .tdms extension, but also with the .tdms_index extension.   I can tell you information that is not quite correct. So let me correct myself. The issue you described a 247402 really known problem that has been fixed in CVI 2010. You can read about it in the CVI 2009 known issues list. The question that I linked above is actually a separate, but similar, the description and the question could have a little misleading. I'll fix this formulation, but keep in mind that this has been corrected in fact 2010 SP1. I advise to use CVI 2010 SP1 Run - Time Engine to have trouble for two bugs.
