  I was pulling my hair out for several hours now and it worked like a charm.

  7640 was printing test print, .pdf and Notepad files but it wouldn't print anything from office, chrome, firefox or thunderbird.

  Power Googling finally turned to the top of your message and I have not seen anything to suggest it is common knowledge, but I think this problem is quite regular, so I hope others find your post.

  As I installed the toshiba bluetooth stack (on my Satellite Pro U200) last week, MS Office documents are very slow to open when I choose them by double-clicking from windows Explorer. If I first start Office then use "Open" to open the document, the document opens very quickly.

  The problem disappears as soon as I uninstall the Bluetooth stack.

  This issue is documented on the nokia.com website and can apparently be solved using the instead microsoft bluetooth stack.

  However, I don't seem to be able to install this driver on my laptop.

  Is there a solution from Toshiba?

  I hope that you have a Time Machine backup that you can use to revert to a previous version.  If it is then maybe you shared the document with someone else by e-mail and get get an old copy of your sent e-mail.

  The simple thing to try is first of all to choose to restart the computer, that can solve. I suspect that your PC started with the default profile instead of yours.

  Follow the steps below and check, if it helps:

  a. Insert your Office 2007 installation CD into your computer.

  b. click on the "Start" menu and open the control panel.

  c. double-click "Add/Remove Programs" (Windows XP)

  d. scroll down your installed programs and select Microsoft Office 2007 (it will be labeled as 'home', 'Professional', 'Ultimate' etc., according to your version of Office).

  e. press the 'Edit' button at the top of the Add or Remove Programs window.

  f. click the option "Add or remove features".

  g. click the continue"" button.

  h. press the small '+' next to the heading "Office Tools" to extend the functionality are there.

  .docx is a quite complicated XML file format, I doubt that there is a native LabVIEW application for this anywhere. You may be able to do some simple find/replace on strings inside XML or try to use xml for find/replace analytical tools that you need - try opening up with something like Notepad and see what you can do.
