  I just bought this printer and I don't know what is happening. The first time I printed something (8 pages) days ago and it printed perfectly without any problems. This time, when I tried to print 6 pages (this printer connects via the USB port on my computer) it has started printing, but after it printed 1/4 first page, he stopped and just sat there. The light was still flashing. Finally he spits out paper with just 1/4 of printed page and didn't even start the following study through the diet.   I understand that you are facing a printing problem with your Windows XP system that prints to your Deskjet 1510. I hope I can help! For me, the issue you describe sounds like a driver problem.

  I would say first of all that is running the print and scan doctor. This diagnostic tool will check for all conflicts that may be causing the problem. The tool will show you a report at the end. If there is a problem that the tool could not fix, you will notice it in the results.

  If the problem continues, go to the Control Panel uninstalling the printer software , restart the PC, then download and reinstall the driver to feature full here: e-all-in-one HP Deskjet 1510 Printer series full feature software and drivers

  Try to print again, and the problem should be solved, fingers crossed!

  I'd love to help you with your 6830. I understand that it's slow to start printing and the print head seems to be adjusting before printing begins. Beginning of the rel by printing a self-test page and the time required to print:

• HP Officejet Pro 8630: slow printing to the network

  We got this printer about 5 months ago, set up as a network printer and all our workstations print to it very well, that this includes the machines Windows 7 & XP and a laptop computer. We had no problem until very recently, I installed an update that was supposed to be for instant ink program. This makes sure the xp machines could not print to it. I had to reset the printer to uninstall the update and this resovled the question at the beginning, but then he began to print slow - not like taking a lot of time to print a page, but by taking a lot of time between when you hit print and when he actually starts printing.  Yesterday (after all computers have an update of Windows installed) it began to take 30-45 minutes to a draw get to the printer.   Have an officejet 5610 that I used for years to digitize documents, faxes, printing and copying on Acer computer with windows XP. Recently, I moved my scanner flatbed scanjet g4050 wifes to my computer to scan photos and negatives. The problem is when I install the G4050, I can scan is no longer with my Officejet 5610. Get an error message; "An error occurred just by contacting the HP imaging device. Try the following steps. Turn off and unplug for 60 seconds. The cord is properly attached. Reset. Uninstall and reinstall the device. Reinstallation of photosmart software.  Have tried all these. Does not help unless I have uninstall and remove the two devices and reinstall officejet 5610 ONLY. If I reinstall G4050 default folder which is recommended for multiple hp devices work properly then the 5610 can sweep is no longer. Error message as above. Running scan doctor and it says that there is a problem of façade. Go to the solution Center, click settings, scan settings, scan to Setup. When I click scan to Setup, I get the same error message as above. Both devices appear in the HP Solution Center each with its own tab. Is it possible to use these two devices on the same computer?

  These two devices will not be able to work together. The ScanJet uses a newer than the 5610 software the 5610 will not work with. You can try to install the ScanJet, then the 5610, but I don't think it will help. I'm sure that just does not allow two devices on the same computer because the software conflict. I'm sorry.

  I had a problem where my printer would not prevent printing, even though I cancelled it.  I watched and followed these instructions.

  From the desktop, hold down the Windows key and press R.  In the run window, type services.msc and press to enter.  Scroll down to the print spooler service, right click and select Properties, then click the Stop button.  Now search for C:\Windows\System32\Spool\PRINTERS, then delete the work inside this folder - you may need to click a command prompt to get the authority to open the PRINTERS folder.

  Restart the computer and you should find that the documents have been deleted.

  I didn't know that one to remove, so I deleted everything in the folder.  Now, my printer prints, but whenever I try to scan something, my power button flashes and it won't scan.   Help, please!

  A combined Stop/Reload/Go button that is placed at the right end of the address bar is used in Firefox 4.

  I see that you have a problem with printing from the PC using your HP Officejet 5740 e-all-in-one printer. I want to help you with this. I have some suggestions that might help.

  I recommend you try the following steps:

  Remove the temporary PC files:

  • Press the Windows key + r
  • Type %temp%, and then press enter
  • Press Ctrl + a to select all files
  • Press Delete
  • Note that some files do not delete - do not worry, this is normal. Simply click ignore that you're prompted.
  • Empty your trash at the end.

  Run the HP Print and Scan Doctor:

  • Click here to install and run the printing and scanning doctor. This utility is designed to detect and automatically fix common printer setup problems.

  If you still experience the guest fax after these steps I suggest you uninstall the printer and redo your printer setup.

  Uninstall your printer

  • Press the Windows key + r
  • Type of control panel and press enter
  • Click on programs and features
  • Select the driver for your printer from the list, and then click on uninstall
  • Click here to reinstall your printer.

  This is caused by the failure of one of your cartridges.  Remove the black print cartridge and print a test page.  The printer prints at a normal speed?  Is therefore the black cartridge was the issue and needs to be replaced.  If it isn't then, put the black back cartridge in and remove the color cartridge and the test page printed.  If the printer now prints speed the color cartridge is responsible and must be replaced.

  I suggest to set a static IP address for the printer:

  -Print a the front of the printer Network Setup Page. Note the IP address of the printer.
  -Enter the IP address in a browser to reveal the internal settings of the printer.
  -Choose the network tab, then wireless along the left side, then on the IPv4 tab.
  -On this screen, you want to set a manual IP address. You must assign an IP address outside the range that the router sets automatically (called the DHCP range). Yours is 10.0.1.2 a.200.  We use 10.0.1.220 for your printer.
  -Apply the subnet 255.255.255.0 (unless you know it's different, if so, use it)
  -Enter the IP of your router (on the Page of the Network Config) for the gateway.
  -Enter for the first DNS 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 for second DNS.
  -Click 'apply '.

  Now, stop the router and printer, start the router, wait, and then start printing.

  After that, you will have to redo 'Add printer' using the new IP address.
