OfficeJet 6210: print to file officjet 6210 - where is the file?

After selecting the option to print queue in the print of the dirver printer menu then enter output file name and clicking OK, I can't find the file.

Its not appearing is not in My Documents.

Also cannot find a setting to provide a location for the files generated by the printer driver when you select the option to print to a file.

Do a search on the entire hard drive returns nothing either.

I wonder what is happening.

Thank you

Richard

Hello

Print in the file is a Windows feature/tool, not printer. Printer prints on paper (called hard-copy). Normally:

If you are prompted, choose a file name and a location to save the file. (If you do not receive this message, the file is typically saved in your Documents folder).

  • OfficeJet 6210: Officejet 6210 do print after upgrade to 8.1 Windows

I've reluctantly Windows 8 upgraded to 8.1.  And now, my Officejet 6210 not print.    When you are prompted to print, the printer icon appears in the toolbar showing employment is printing, or, a message appears indicating printing, but nothing prints. The printer is the default printer.  There is nothing in the queue.  I checked if the printer is paused or offline.   I ran "HP print and scan doctor" repeatedly indicates that everything is good and the printer works fine.  I've uninstalled and reinstalled the CD software.  I downloaded the driver from HP/support.   I stop and restart the printer spooler.  I disconnected the firewall.  I unplugged and pluged the 2 USB of the computer and the printer.  The computer and the printer was arrested over and over again.

    What else could be?

    Help!

Hello! Welcome to the @matt_2 forums

I read your post on printing problems, you've had since the upgrade to Windows 8.1.

I checked some information and as you can see below, the Officejet 6210 is only supported by a Windows Update, which means that you can try to run all your Windows updates and try to print again. If the printer still doesn't print, you would look in an upgrade of the printer at this time. If you want to call us to see what are your options for the printer, I'll leave the details below.

I hope this helps, have a great Monday

  • OfficeJet 6210

I have a 6210 Officejet all-in-One printer connected to my computer with windows XP and using the CD (CD version 4.7.0 windows XP) with the purchase of printer the printer which worked OK. I have now bought a new computer HP with Windows 8, and using the same CD in the new computer it downloads a driver and open the Setup Wizard, but by selecting the FULL or EXPRESS version it won't let me instrall. A RED cross against it says that this system does not meet one or more of the minimum requirements for the installation of this product. • Center solutions for HP OfficeJet 6210 under Win 7 64 bit

I'm looking for the HP Solution Center for my Windows 7 64-bit OS.  He was not an upgrade of Vista.  It is a new laptop (Copmaq Presario CQ62) for installation of factory Windows 7 x 64.  What I saw in my research involved a system of upgrading Vista to Windows 7.

I have two printers that have the same problem.  An OfficeJet 6210 and an OfficeJet 4315v needs the center of HP solutions for scan.

Am I try to download a Vista driver, try to install it, or is there a better solution.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Hello world

It there is no complete software functionality and the driver available for this older printer. You will need to use a third-party PDF program to scan in PDF format. You can use Microsoft Paint or Windows fax and scan to scan documents and photos. If you are interested in upgrading to a new printer, see the link below.

  • OfficeJet 6210 does not work with snow leopard

My officejet 6210 worked very well on Mac OS 10.5. Now that I have snow leopard, when I try to choose my printer in system preferences, it says some software are absent, and the service program does not open. When I try, I can't print from MS Word and get the error "could not start the filter" / Library/Printers/hp/cups/filters/commandtohp.filter/Contents/MacOS/commandtohp "-operation not permitted.» Stoppage of work because the Scheduler could not run a filter".

I installed new software/drivers on the web for Mac OS 10.6, even if the software/drivers are supposed to come with snow leopard. I tried all versions of deleting and adding the printer, restart the mac and printer, etc.

Help! Ideas in addition to give up and go back to the old operating system or buy a new printer?

You always had the hp for 10.5 software on your Mac.  Either uninstall or install the new software does NOT uninstall the 10.5 software correctly.

    Try this:

Go to Applications/Hewlett Packard / click Uninstall HP
    Click on continue
Highlight your device in the left pane
Hold down the Ctrl and Opt Cmd and click on uninstall
There will be a pop up that asks if you are sure you want to uninstall all hp software. (At this point, if you continue, all HP printers you have installed will need to be reinstalled)
Click on continue and let it finish

    Restart your Mac

    Now run a software update.

Then, remove and reinstall the printer in System Preferences, Print & Fax.

If this does not work, install the wrong since the CD software (for 10.5 and earlier versions) and above of uninstall routine to run the extraordinary.

After you get it to work, I would recommend against installing the HP software for your printer.  Scan by using the Capture of Image application into your Applications folder.

  • HP officejet 6210 all in one fax

HP officejet 6210 all-in-one, fax not send fax with Vonage phone, I'm sure that most people have no problem, what should I do to fix this? Help, please

I'm sorry that you are experiencing this issue. The fax works with Vonage, BUT it doesn't really work that well. This may sometimes work, it may not.

Vonage is a (VOIP) Voice Over Internet Protocol. It has many transmitters communicate in both directions and can cause the interruption between the lines. You can try some steps, but it may not always work.

    1. go in the settings of your Fax

    2. change your Error Correction Mode (ECM) - OFF

3 set the fax speed to slow DOWN

Make sure it is properly connected.

1 LINE 1 at the rear of the printer goes directly to LINE 1 of the Vonage modem (or wall plug)

2 LINE 2 goes directly to the phone.

Hope this helps. Let me know what happens.

  • OfficeJet 6210: Plug it in, it just clicks

Until recently, my Officejet 6210 all-in-one worked pretty well, sometimes complain about cartridge jams (usually opening and closing the printer has been sufficient to correct this, or simply stirring the cartridges a bit) but otherwise OK.  The other day, it had been disconnected, and when I plugged it in and tried to turn it on, it just kept clicking, a mechanical noise that seems to come from the left side, and there is no other sign of life - power light turns on, the cartridges has not moved, just by clicking, until I unplugged it again.  I tried a few times since, with the same results. Plug it in, it snaps a balance (maybe a little faster than once per second, with an occasional jump) beat until it is disconnected again.  If it can be fixed unless it would cost to replace, I had much rather continue to use it.  Thanks for any light you can throw.

  • New OfficeJet Pro 8620 does not print PDF files

I have a brand new 8620 and I use Windows 7. My printer prints a few PDFs but not most other PDF documents. I am using Acrobat Reader XI. The printer will print from MS Office.

    HELP, please!

Hello! Welcome to the @lmel forums

I have a few ideas that come to mind, I read the issue you're having with printing of PDF files. They are here!

    1. try to resave the PDF files that do not print and then try printing again.

    2. update of Adobe:

Select help - search for updates. If a new update is available, it installs automatically.
Once installed, you can restart a computer.
Then try to print the PDF file.

    http://helpx.Adobe.com/Acrobat/KB/troubleshoot-PDF-printing-Acrobat-Reader.html

    3. run the print and scan the doctor. This diagnostic tool will check for all conflicts that may be causing the problem. The tool will show you a report at the end. If there is a problem that the tool could not fix, you will notice it in the results.

    4. uninstalling the printer software

    Restart the PC

Reinstall the printer: HP Officejet Pro 8620 e-all-in-One Printer series full feature software and drivers

That should do the trick! Keep me abreast of the results!

    Have a great Wednesday
