I just installed a new HP Officejet 6600/6700, but whenever I have to send a fax it produces a report. If I misdial or there is no answer, it also sends a report. • Stupid question, how does a print back to back on the Officejet 6600/6700?

    HP Officejet 6600/6700 model CV078A; Series: CN2231G0D9

    Vista 32 bit

Could not find in the manuals or in the forum.  With recent HP printers, I was able to print on both sides of the paper (for example, 1 side = Page 1; Side 2 = Page 2).  I can't understand how to do this with this version.  Do not see it in no more printing options.  Simply print us page 1.  Place it in the paper tray; can print page 2?  What seems uncomfortable with such advanced machine.

    Any ideas?

    Thank you

Thanks BH.  I think I found the solution.  Your advice on Duplex helped.  I sought advice and found that I needed to go to 'Print' > Options > Advanced > Print > and check "Print on the front of the sheet for duplex printing" and "print on the back of the sheet for duplex printing.

I retried the print job, and it seemed to work.

For the people of HP you this can be a problem in Microsoft.  I guess that your parameters to make up for it during installation.  Perhaps the settings I fall on an update of MS Word; Thus, others may work in the same question.

    Hello

The solution Center HP not part of the software for the HP Officejet 6600 is no, it's a part of your previous HP printer software.

Since the 8 CV type windows screen and open the HP Officejet 6600 software, will launch the HP printer Assistant who is the software for your current printer.

No, you can't, as necessary to allow the print head to exploit any color.

  • Base for OfficeJet 6830 and 6700 driver

I have a new printer Officejet 6830 I need diver Win7 database for.

I don't want the driver for 42 Mo 'basic' which is available on the Web site. I would just like to add a local printer... Standard IP port... have disk... and be able to use the driver file. I don't want to run the exe from the Web site that installs much more. It comes to load locally on a workstation T610

I also need the base for the 6700 drriver too

Your printer models are compatible with HPs universal printer drivers?  If so a UPD is a quick and easy solution to your problem.

If what you see on the site of HP, it's what you get.

You can always try to recover the print of a model similar to printer driver if you manage to find one that is supported on your operating system.  Printer drivers are generally flexible enough, unless they are specially designed for this model, like many old printers were.  Browse the list of print drivers pre-installed in your OS to see if one is compatible with or not. You won't have access to all the features, but the basic printing features should work.  Mix and match until you find one that works.

  • OfficeJet Pro 6600: Try to install the complete driver but driver rather basic facilities

I installed a LOT of HP printers over the last 15 years and I've never encountered this problem. It's really natural on two different computers, so I'll give you info on both.

First computer is a HP Pavilion dv7 laptop with Intel and Windows 7 64-bit processor. Customer brought to us because she could not install the drivers for the Pro OfficeJet 6600. After running diagnostics on the hard drive and memory and checking for viruses and malware, we determined that there was a problem with Windows. We ran a full recovery, installed the latest drivers, SP1 and all Windows updates. Tried to install the full features of cd and download printer drivers, but only the basic drivers are installed. There is no error message. It simply restores the base drivers. I've been troubleshooting for 3 days, but did not really find anything online to help me.

Today, I discovered a second computer to do the same thing. It is a Gateway desktop computer with a processor Intel running Vista 32 bit. Yet once, I ran diagnostics on the hard drive and memory. Then, I checked against virus and malware. The original complaint was that the system was too slow and he was still even after cleaning. So I ran a full recovery on it as well. Installed SP1 and SP2, as well as the latest version of Flash. This one has a DeskJet (3130 I think) and I tried to install the download software. The same thing happens. No error, but the base drivers install instead of full functionality.

I tried to remove all the elements start running as administor, allowing the system administrator and execution of this user. No anti-virus is installed on a system, so that is not interfering. I'm absolutely stumped. Two different patterns, two OS' are different, two different printers, something current. I have triple checked the drivers and I know that I download the full features of HP drivers. I do this for a living, so I'm sure I checked the obvious things. But at this point, I'll take suggestions. I don't have a printer in our office. I've never had a problem installing HP full feature software and clicking on the service you want to connect later, so I need never clients to bring their printers. Any help is greatly appreciated!

    Hey @Hatteras,

Thanks for getting back to me on this subject.

New printers HP, as the HP Officejet 6600 no longer use the HP Solution Center. Instead, they use the HP printer Assistant. Therefore, if you see no icon Assistant software of HP printer on the desktop of the computer after choosing the option 'Connect later', you should be able to access the software HP Printer Wizard by clicking the Start menu, then all programs, select the HP folder and click on HP Officejet. Finally, click on the HP Officejet 6600. Usually, this will be a black printer icon to the left of this one. Once you select this option, a screen that guides you through the process of "connect a device" to connect the printer with the HP software full feature Printer Wizard installed open.

Should you have problems with this, please let me know. Make sure that you have the printer clients on-site we can confirm that the Full package service is installed and running properly.

    Good luck!

  • Idle print message when printing from a Mac - HP Officejet wireless 6600

I'm having a problem with my HP Officejet 6600.  When I try to print from my Macbook Pro, I get a message from idle on the print screen.  It is to show that it is connected, but do not print.  Besides I could scan wireless to my computer from the printer and test printing in the utility window on my Mac.  This problem is confusing because it was able to print last week and now can not.  Also the printer print wireless from my PC, but not the Mac.  Help, please.

Restart the printer.  Let me know if that suits him.

  • OfficeJet software 6600 for Mountain Lion

I just got an Officejet 6600 and a new Mac Mini. The Officejet is recognized by the Mini, and a test print is fine.

I downloaded the latest version of the software and the installation program works to install the software.

However, towards the end, I'm invited to complete Setup (and said that the Officejet can not work properly if I don't do this step). But when I try to do this step, the Officejet does not appear in the list.

I have the same problem, if I try to run the installation as a separate program Wizard, even if the public service program recognizes the printer very well.

I tried with connection Wi - Fi and USB.

I think it would be that the printer does not display because no installation is necessary, even if it sounds strange.

It seems you have a downloaded the AirPrint by mistake. You should have a few tabs beyond that.

    1. click on the (+) sign according to your preferences system printing and scanning. (When you want to add a printer).

    2. choose the name of the printer.

    3. at the bottom of the screen, it says (USE). Make sure that your printer name and not AIRPRINT.

  • OfficeJet 6600: HP Officejet prints 6600 pages of test, but USB connected or wireless - does not print anything

    Hello
For some reason any my printer has ceased to be able to print anything at all, since last night at 7-8 so far, I've been able to print perfectly well.

It is connected wireless (and on the home network and the IP address), but whether or not it is wireless (USB) - nothing will be printed at all.

Have tried everything imaginable... uninstalled and reinstalled all HP 3 or 4 times now, various attempted fixes via the online help, nothing works. Have unplugged router printer 30 s, unplugged 30s, you name it.

It allows to print in-house, however, no problem. Print a test - perfectly fine page, print a network test page - perfectly well. Clear print heads... everything comes out clear.

Spotted an error prompt "spooler subsystem app not working not"... so found this page online (https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/windows/en-US/460f297a-dd66-4476-a176-542e1519ca3e/fixed... and thought it was the miracle solution - nope, still doesn't.)

Followed the steps detailed here: http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Inkjet-Printing/HP-6600-won-t-print-wirelessly/td-p/4649292 - the link to the HP Print & Scan Dominican Republic by the way, is a dead link now... but I have tracked down the appropriate page and run the software. After following it exactly as I had to... I get this result:

"There is a problem with your software which can not be repaired by this tool. Remove the software by clicking 'uninstall '. Reinstall the software with the product CD or by downloading the latest features full software from HP Customer Care. "- so in other words... I am told to do exactly what I've already done 3 or 4 times.

It's driving me crazy... and do not understand why it will not print.

I hope someone here can help... because it's completely maddening.

    Hello
By coincidence, my grandson has me bought a new computer earlier in the month. and it arrived yesterday afternoon, a Lenovo all-in-One ThinkCentre w/Windows 7 - and after it he installed there, the printer printed fine from the computer.

But, just in case it is needed, and because the advice was here, I thought I'd try the options.

Unfortunately, I can't do a level 3 uninstall with the two methods provided. Method never showed a "util" folder or 'utility', both had a "utils" folder, and no method showed a record of "ccc". Also, by downloading the software, then go into the temporary folder through the search from the Start Menu, 3 sets of disc records came - and such that mentioned, none had the util/utility folder (all "utils" still had once) - and yet, none of them had a folder 'ccc '.

My grandson theory was that something is likely messed up in the registry, and he doesn't dare touch it without knowing what it does - than a reformat or something registry editting and knowing exactly what they're doig - would be the best choice, but rather of your time and... almost useless with the new computer capable of printing. A friend IT very well educated friends, also backed up his theory...

So, I have to wonder... don't you think it's worth, the Dungeon of combat with the old Gateway/Vista PC, or simply move to the new Lenovo/Windows 7 and cause less stress for us all? Haha!

Thank you for trying to help but... it's too bad the computer unfortunately does not cooperate.
