Officially supported for ESXi4 SD cards?

Hi all:

Someone has managed to find a list of 'officially' supported or certified for integrated ESXi4 SD cards? I've raked by communities, compatibility guides, sites of the seller, etc and can't find no official statement.

Thank you!

Dave

There is not a similar list.

Most providers use Kingston for ESXi embedded... but also other products works very well.

  • Official support for nested virtualization VMware

VMware officially supports virtualization nested in production with ESX 5.5 environments?

This article implies VMware does not support, but fails to mention ESXI 5.5:

VMware KB: Support for ESXi/ESX implementation as a nested virtualization solution

This document is kind of contradict:

    Nested VMs running

    It is said:

"Virtualisee HV is fully supported for hardware virtual version 9 or 10 virtual machines on the hosts that support Intel VT - x or AMD - V and EPT of IVR. To enable virtualized HV, select VM-> settings and navigate to the processor settings screen. Check the box next to 'Virtualiser Intel VT-x/EPT or AMD-V/IVR.'

ESX (i) problems running in a nested configuration fall outside the agreements of level of Service and Support of VMware. »

The article quoted deals only ESXi as a guest.

Virtualized HV is supported as a CPU function virtual when used by a Type 2 hypervisor running under any operating system supported by.

  • Want to 700-019 H5P24AA #BL: what is the side power maxiumum supported for a video card in Envy 700

I want to improve my HD 8570 delivered installed video card.

What is the rated power more of a video card that would work with the installed 450W power supply.

    CPU is 4770 I7 motherboard: MS-7826 (Kaili)

    Thank you

The 700 WANT referenced has a 460 watt POWER supply with a PCI-E 6-pin power supply.  In addition, this particular model PC has a version 8 for most graphics cards latest UEFI BIOS which are rated to work with a 460 Watt power supply would probably work.

Of EVGA has a NVIDIA GTX 960 modelthat requires only a single PCI-E power connector 6-pin. Other models of the EVGA GTX 960 graphics cards require a PCI-E power connector, 8 pins.

  • Support for the NETWORK card not detected during Setup

I try to install vSphere Hypervisor 6.0.  He said there was no detected network devices.  I found the NETWORK provider interface card and ID of device in ESXi console.  I then found his page in the VMware Compatibility Guide. The page indicates 6.0 is supported and this is the Inbox.  No idea what could be causing this error?

Edit: I can't seem to get the hyperlink in this text editor, I can not paste links.  So, here's a screenshot of the page of network cards

    esxi.png

Ah, what is more likely is that 6.0 does not have the appropriate drivers for the game chips and bus system so it does not detect the network interface cards because it does not actually detect parts of the motherboard.

There were a lot of older drivers removed in 6.0 which enabled 5.5 and below to work on the server not hardware. You the best solution is to install vmware workstation and install it inside the workstation for testing.

  • Support for multiple video cards under ESX

    Hi all

I was wondering how ESX would handle several video cards I try to virtualize our test network and need to have different virtual machines for separate monitors. I couldn't see any info on ESX and video drivers and I was wondering if, as the core ESX is a put to update the Linux kernel, it would just a matter of installing relevant video drivers to Linux according to a normal Linux installation.

    Thank you

    Martin.

The vmkernel making virtualization and is, in essence, the operating system of your ESX is code written by vmware - where the origin of a component of the version of ESX - the ocnfusion service which is used to manage and control your ESX - the server console console service is essentially a virtual machine running a modified version of Linux RHEL 3 - now go back to your original question ESX does not supports several video cards , or you can access the Virtual Machines directly from the ESX Server. You must use a workstation running the VI Client - the VI Client is how you access your virtual machine providing access to the running virtual machine. You can access several simultaneousky of virtual machines running from a single workstation.

  • support for CUDA graphics card

    Hello!

I just installed a trial version of Adobe first Pro CS5.5.

A popup window tells me to download a graphic CUDA driver for a better rendering.

In the list of supported graphics cards my card does not appear.

    NVIDIA GeForce 9500 GT

In the details section of this card, it shows me the following: 32 CUDA cores

Does that mean now that it supports CUDA or not - is - do I have to install another driver for it - I'm confused...

BTW. system requirements recommend RAID 0 for uncompressed video.

So far, I use different fast HD but no RAID 0. In what scenario will be victim?

    concerning

Here is the list of the supported graphics processors: http://www.adobe.com/products/premiere/tech-specs.html

The GeForce 9500 GT is not in the list of supported cards. A lot of cards that have CUDA is not supported by the CS5.5 body. It is not strictly CUDA body makes use of all areas... Organization requires a handful of specifications that CUDA is the primary but not the only one.

Your card meets most of the requirements of the software, but only the cards that Adobe has actually tested and approved will be listed as supported cards. Only these cards are supported by default in the functioning of the body CS5.5.

With that said, you can ALWAYS try to get the body to use your GeForce 9500 GT GPU using the 'hack' that a lot of users have posted in the forum (I never had to use it, or know the link, but I think that if search you the forum for 'hack GPU' then you will find probably). The 'hack' is NOT taken in charge, and even if change you successfully the necessary bits of code, it is not guaranteed that your GPU works or that it will work well.

Yet once, only the GPU listed at the link above and stated as 'supported' by Adobe are guaranteed to give you the desired results of playback engine Mercury.

About RAID 0 and video uncompressed... you use true uncompressed video? Many people do not, instead of use formats like DV, HDV, AVCHD, DVCProHD, ProRes, etc.. A RAID 0 is perhaps a good idea if you use 5 simultaneous streams of video from the same player, but it's really a whole topic altogether. If you use UNCOMPRESSED video, then your hard disk configuration and RAID are of main importance for smooth playback. CPU becomes less important, since there is nothing to "decompress." However, for DV, AVCHD formats and disc hard similar speed is relatively unimportant because the files are generally well below the speed of the flow of a standard disc (medium-sized AVCHD around 17 to 25 Mbps, which is nothing). However, with these more compressed formats such as AVCHD your CPU must be extremely tough because it does all the work of decompression of the video for playback on the fly.

    I hope this helps!

  • Is supported by ESXi4.1 cards mothers Intel?

I just got a motherboard Intel Desktop DH61SA and also will get little more motherboards. I need to test the VMware ESXi4.1 and also need to install. The processor is intel core i3 3 GHz RAM 4 GB min is.

I tried to install the VMWare ESXi4.1 but failed. HCL speaks only of processors Xeon and server but http://thomaschatham.com/2011/03/my-vmware-esxi-4-1-home-lab/ this link indicates it will run in motherboards too. I need help in this regard, as then I can go for a test of the configuration on a budget. (Xeon processor is too expensive for me now)

    Mishu ~.

Yes, we can install ESXi 4.1 on the mothers, i3 and DH61 is a good combination. However, I would say for the training or VMs with low capacity.

Make sure VT is enabled in the BIOS.

  • 2003 R2 MSCS support for ESXi4.1?

I'm going to migrate windows 2003 r2 clusters in ESXi 4.1 infrastructure according to the link below

    It is not supported

    http://blogs.msdn.com/b/clustering/archive/2010/07/27/10042799.aspx

    is this true?

It works and if the storage is the same, then is also simple to migrate:

    • migrate all the resources on a single node.
    • P2V free node C: drive, then turn off the node
    • Map with RDM disk shared in the virtual machine
    • Start the virtual node and difficulty of network configuration
    • To migrate a simple resource test
    • Migrate all resources
    • Repeat for the first node

  • Official support for Windows 7?

    All,

I searched on the pages for the answer to this and not yet found, please be gentle if I missed it.

Ships of Windows 7 in October 2009 and I have worked very happily with the Beta and LR 2.4.

(Although some printing issues with trying to print the entire catalog rather than the selected image (quick catalog used to solve this))

LR will get its official adhesive thumbnail of Windows 7 in this period of time, or that it will be longer?

(I know that Adobe gives no dates, I am only after being reassured because I want to update my two computers for W7 and remove Vista & XP)

Thank you very much in advance for the help and pointers

    Simon

As Geoff said there is no official word or semi-official adobe on win7, because it's not yet released.  Adobe (and all other companies than that).  I remember that they stayed mum on the imminent release of OS x 10.5, and I don't know that the same issues were raised with Vista.  Given that the release is soon and LR works for you on the beta version. I just relax and wait for word (or an update) from adobe.  If an update is required, they are already working on it, if it does not need, then they will provide the certified on win7 info you are looking for after win7 comes on the market.

  • Official Firefox support for business

    Dear Sir.
I work for an international company that develops the program of the web server and it must be aligned on all browsers. It is now declared compatible with IE and next will be Firefox. Since the Firefox help page, indicated that support is done by volunteers all over the world. It is superb! In any case, I would like to know if Firefox has a channel of official support for business specifically? (Like having response time or root cause date deadline)

    Thanks and regards,

    Chavanath C.

Nope - community support is all that is currently available

  • Support for PCIe storage

Are they compatible? If so, which would you recommend?
    I'm under S30 with Windows 7.

Official support for PCIe SSD didn't happen until the P500/700/900 series. However, PCIe SSD will work on the S30, albeit without bootable media.

Since no hard drive have been officially qualified, should really a specific recommendation here. Many AHCI or NVMe with SSD should work without much effort, although anything NVMe will need a driver. My personal choice would go to Samsung or Intel, as I've had the most experience with them. Samsung can be done via PCIe cards m2 and Intel has some native PCIe solutions.

What are your needs here? What volume of storage and what is your purpose of speed? Knowing that might help to point you in the right direction.

Toshiba has released all drivers for Windows 7, but still no driver 3G official!

P.S. drivers for NB200 not 100% compatible and windows sometimes loses 3G modem after sleep/hibernate mode.

  • DV6-7002tx B0P07PA Windows 8.1 official support, list of drivers

Hello, I own a B0P07PA dv6-7002tx for a year and a half, running windows 8.1, but I have a few questions, wifi is not always properly started during boot, HD4000 drivers aren't perfect either, I have the problem of video shift under Firefox.

Worse still, Windows 8.1 released for awhile now, and there is still no word from HP on the official for Windows 8.1 support, nor the list of updated drivers for a quad core I7 edition Ivy bridge, it's a bit difficult to understand that there is no list of official drivers released yet, essentially playing with some forums to try to get the work of the other models of HP drivers , but it is far from ideal.

Could we please get a list of updated drivers (some drivers are dated from 2012 and we turned to 2014).

I even had a problem with the update Windows 8.1 on HD4000 since my laptop starts with a blankscreen, had to return to the odler driver to be able to start. It's something that I understand myself being advanced user, but how many customers is left aside without a list of appropriate, drivers who is tested and tested by HP, Windows 8.1 RC was released over 6 months ago, 8.1 to Windows itself has published about 3 months ago and still nothing updated.
With the update for Windows 8.1 is free for users of Windows 8, and for a list of Windows 8 official but outdated drivers exists on the page of official support for this laptop, all hope that a such high end laptop becomes the proper drivers update it deserves?

Thank you for visiting the Forums from HP Support. I'm sorry but this is a community of peer-to-peer HP customers and not a venue to contact HP directly. Most of the users here is consumers like yourself that offer solutions because they like to help others and HP employees that you see are here on their own abilities and not representing does not society.

If you have additional or direct comments for HP on their products or services or questions on the repair, you can use the link below for contact information.

  • Windows 7 support for this tool?

I couldn't find a discussion for this. It does not appear the vSphere update 1 in the CLI of power versions or the vSphere CLI are supported in WIndows 7 (at least according to the release notes).

Did someone use these Windows 7 now?

Are there precautions or system changes that you have made?

Any ideas on when these tools will be supported on Windows 7?

Most of the PowerCLI is purely managed code .NET, I expect the majority of our cmdlets to work correctly on W7. This isn't a guarantee, just my guess.

The exception is that we have some cmdlets that use the VIX library. It is what gives us various operations of comments. This includes Invoke VMScript, copy-VMGuestFile, etc. These things may very well not work on W7. When we have official support for W7 part of it will be to make sure it works.
