• HP Pavillion DV6: Recovery of Windows 7

  I have a laptop HP Pavilion DV6 comes with windows 7 home Premium a few months ago, I upgraded to windows 10. I would go back on windows 7. Is this possible?

  I tried the HP Recovery Manager, but I get a message saying that rebecca.exe is not approved. Tried to use the tool windows 7 installation support, but since the product key for windows 7 came with the laptop, I get an error before you download media.

  It depends on if the Recovery partition is still on the hard drive.  When you look on the screen 'This PC' does show another named D: Recovery drive?  If it is still in place, you can start recovery - which will reinstall Windows 7 as to how it was when new - and every thing will be back.  Normally, you can start Recovery Manager by pressing F11 immediately by pressing the Start button.  It would be better if you have saved important data to separate media before doing so.

  Another way would be to use the set of diskettes of recovery that you should have when the PC was new.

  It could be windows update tries to give you updates of adapter bad display every time. You have updated automatically whenever you install windows 10? If so, update the manual and ignore all updates that show the AMD, ATI and INTEL. I had the same problem but not with windows 10, I had it on windows 7 and 8.1 with the same computer, I didn't go to http://support.amd.com/en-us/download . Then select the automatically detect and install download and run it. If the screen turns off right after finished installing your drivers, then it must be the war video card causing problems.

  Maybe it's your video drivers are fighting eachother for domination, when the screen messes up, try to hook up an external monitor, if your computer has an additional port. Let us know.

• Windows XP end of Support: latest updates?

  I know that extended support for Windows XP is expected late next week.  Issues related to the:

  (1) there will be a final round of Windows updates on the regular date?

  (2) how long updates (whenever they have been issued) will still be available after the end of support?  I have a computer at another place that has not been updated for several months and won't be available before end of April.  (Of course I'm looking for to determine the feasibility of that upgrade to Windows 7, but this will not happen immediately.)  I also have a copy of "Windows XP mode" (SP3) on Windows 7, a new machine, but it has never been implemented and there must be way out of date...

  (3) what updates Office 2007 on my Windows XP machine that (I think) are also carried out through Windows Update?  Those that will end next week as well? -JCW2

  At work, we have a couple new i7 machines that run the last CC using Adobe Premiere. Today, I noticed that the machines are made video on the CPU. There is no dedicated graphics card inside the machines that use the color first.

  We would like to buy Graphic cards for these machines to reduce rendering time.

  Question 1:

  What card is officially supported by Adobe for Mercury motor/GPU rendering?

  Question 2:

  Are supported new generation series Nvidia 1000 already? Are the new series AMD already supported (Sapphire Radeon RX 480 for example).

  Question 3:

  How our users will benefit rendering on video cards mentioned above, instead of rendering on the CPU.

  I know it will be difficult to predict because it would need more information, but I'm looking for a rough estimate that I can introduce to our users.

  In other words, there is no official support for Adobe FrameMaker 11 and 10 Windows (which does not mean that it might work).

  I have recently installed Windows 10 Pro on my MacBook Pro (15-inch, mid-2015, retina), OS X El Capitan 10.11.3 (15 d 21). After Windows restarted, bootcamp has started to install drivers from support and hung on the Realtek driver. Let him all night but he still has not made progress, so I closed the installation program. Now I can't find how to restart, or to download the drivers and install them manually. I had to hold the option key when you restart back into OS X.   I couldn't find a place to download the drivers for bootcamp support and discovered in training camp 6, the drivers are downloaded on a separate partition on the SSD (instead of USB drive). So I wiped the installation of windows and repartee with the intention to copy the downloaded software (which I did). Yet once bootcamp hooked when installing the Realtek driver and did some googling. I found this post that solved my problem. https://discussions.Apple.com/thread/6567790?TSTART=0

  I stumbled upon your post on the laptop and wanted to help you! I looked in your question about your computer laptop 15-d030nr HP and who need to know the decommissioning. As this system came with the version of Windows 8 could be difficult. Some drivers are not available for Windows 7 systems and you lack some of the special features.
